Before anyone gets on Jayce about Vander and Isha dying; it was Singed who injected Vander with the serum to turn him berserk, after everyone left his unconscious body alone with Vander.
Sure but if Victor was still there he could try to restrain Warwick/Vander, or with only one fight raging, Cait, Vi, and Jinx could have done something. They at the very least could have possibly saved Isha because they would have been able to pay attention to her and not the army running around them.
No. He didnt inject him. The work that Viktor had done with Vander had been undone when Jayve fired at him. Thats literally what the story shows us. Singed just went in a talked, he didnt inject anything into Vander. He has no reason to mess with the formula of "Vander" until Vander was in a secure location.

Viktor giving Jayce the crystal doesn't mean Jayce copied Viktor's work. Jayce still did most of the work into actually researching and making HexTech. And was very capable of making and fixing things (like weapons) very quickly.
@Dragon_Aoi the line in the video was a joke. The joke was that Jayce copied the wizard. Obviously, that's not true, but that's why it's a joke. So, within the logic of the joke, Jayce did copy Viktor.
I don’t get all the jayce hate. It is shown through hallucinations jayce gets that the people viktor “saved” are not people, they are void like beings. The corrupted hex tech is connected to the void. Jayce had seen what would happen if viktor continued to “save” people. His followers are already dead. Jayce is actually saving the world, he just did it at the wrong time. Funny video though
He created the situation by panicking about viktor dying and infusing him with the hexcore. All his decisions are just based on vibes. He’s a scientist without logic
I know this supposed to be a deeply unserious video, but so many people unironically believe all this shit. Jayce, like all the other characters in Arcane is flawed, and trying to do his best to do the right thing. Honestly, half the slander is mostly bc he’s the character that’s the safest to hate on. He doesn’t have mental issues (Jinx), he ain’t part of the main queer couple (vi and cait), and isn’t on a ticking timer (Viktor). The other characters do shit too, but get away with it bc they seem to have problems that are fantastical and larger than life, while he gets to deal with politics and being manipulated bc he’s naive and wants to do the right thing. Not saying he doesn’t cause problems, but the hate he receives is way out of proportion for no good reason
Yeah. I don’t like Jayce for the way he behaves and acts towards Zaunites. However, I can understand why he acts the way he does, even if it infuriates me and I can’t stand him. I like the role he plays in the story, and not everything is his fault.
I don't think it's crazy for people to unironically hate him because all of what SC is true. He is a man who is forced to make decisions outside of his wheelhouse. I don't like him because he is quick to act without considering those ramifications. The creation of hextech and how it affects those with little to no access to it emphasizes this. I feel bad for the dude but I feel like a "well he didn't mean it 🥺" or "well, well he has to have some sort of reason" is a poor argument when you see the constant negative impacts he has on the people around him. The gag is most of his actions could have been prevented had he just considered those ramifications for less than a second or talked to the people who would have been effected by his actions. It is crazy to say everything is his fault but it's also funny.
@matthewjobin6665 he was just put in a position of power snd didn't have the experience. Also I like jayce because when it comes to smarts, he is thr man of progress but when it comes to decisions and relationships, he's stuck. I think that's a very interesting detail

Jayce has been a character ping ponging between extreme decisions since he was introduced. Nothing about his actions changes that aspect of his character. Also, the prologue of the second season cements all of this as Jayce's fault, because he was supposed to destroy the Hexcore.
@@freddieadams8435 I mean if I had to handle the embodiment of ultimate chaos and most likely wither along with it, I'd also want my bro to pat me on the shoulder
I like how in arcane, every single crisis and conflict in the plot threads aren't because the main characters just minding buiseness and maintaning the status quo and the villians stirr shit up, no, Jayce and Jinx ruined everything for themselves and everyone involved, their intentions are and were good hearted but they're essentially the center of their own problems and i love that about Arcane.
I stan with my boy Jayce the intelligent naive dumbass. The Vulcan parallels are too strong. It's not his fault that people are stupid and can't touch his stuff without supervision. Jayce would attempt to solve all his problems with a hammer. Either making something or hitting something.
I see now why Jayce is the Main Character. He is the Chosen one. Destined to help god commit suicide. No one in any other timeline could of fucked up enough to save everyone from salvation.

Like he was trying to stop it from happening. But sth was forcing him. Also Viktor did mention there was another will at work. So that means there was a timeline where Jayce must have tried talking to Viktor in the commune but it went south and Runterra was destroyed so god Viktor must have wanted to blow a hole in to present Viktors chest to buy them more time😅
it was Singed who turned Vander berserk, not Jayce. he injected him with that device he used to track him while everyone ran out of the tent he was knocked out in.
0:20 will to be fair the only one who's to blame for that is Viktor himself it's not Jayce's fault that his best friend infused his blood that had the shimmer poison in it with hextech corrupting to the point that it became sentient and is about to bring the void to unleash chaos to no end
That promise he made was literally the same day the Council was blown up. He didn't have much time to actually keep his promise, until he was apart of important Council meetings making negotiations for peace, which Jinx promptly blows up. Which killed people, could have killed Jayce and Mel, and would have killed Viktor right then and there if not for Jayce. Like he literally made this promise, and then later on in the day basically, he was in an important meeting that was blown up and his friend who saved him from committing suicide was literally dying. The blame he gets for "not keeping his promise" is kind of dumb and overblown.
The jayce hate is getting crazy, bro does not deserve all this 😭. He didnt leave vik to go tap mel. He went to an event (after talking to vik, vik seemed fine in his eyes) where he happened to get laid. After he found out vik got sick he immedietly left mel to go stay with his dying friend. And on top of that he didnt know the extent of how dangerous the hexcore was. Vik only told him that the hexcore killed skye after vik was fused to the core. Maybe if he told him before, he would have more properly understood the danger of it and destroy it. Jayce is the most human character. People just wanna hate on Jayce for EVERYTHING. LET JAYCE TAP 🗣🔥 ✊. (We dont even know why jayce did what he did at the end of act 2 so idk why people making premature assumptions though). Also fully blaming jayce for global hextech problems is just unfair. Viktor would also be to blame. But I guess no one can insult everyone's favorite little guy.
@@mechamochi9627 Yeah, I know the video is mostly a joke, but when some in the fandom is unfairly (imo) hating on Jayce so much, I think this video can just feed into that kind of stuff. Also, it is for this (and some other reasons) why some in the Arcane fandom is really annoying me right now.
Whilst I am aware that this is a satirical video, I just wanted to point out something that most viewers/fans overlook in regards to Jace. The writers have been doing a great job in establishing that Jace is just an overly ambitious guy who just seeks to emulate the brilliance he experienced from that wizard as a child. He is extremely smart but extremely powerless meaning that he has to follow the regulations of the people that are around him. As far as his hate for the zaunites go, can we really blame him as from his perspective all he has seen are thieves and the harsh realities of conflict. He has hardly had a chance to actually spend time with the people there so all he can think of is that these people are harsh and violent. Edit: Some people seem to think that he made everything in the show worse when he didn't. All he did was manufacture a new power system that others want to steal and take hold of. Silco would've still gone ahead with his plans, Mel's mother would've still eventually came to piltover after catching wind of black rose being after her. The show just does a great job in showcasing how power warps the human mind and how greed and selfishness is usually put above everything else.
And people complain about him being ‘racist’ when yes, he set up the barriers on the bridge which was decidedly not good but also he’s the only person who got close to peace and independence for Zaun and Piltover, if Jinx just fucked off and didn’t blow up the council with a temper tantrum then everything would of worked, THANKS TO JAYCE
Whatever Jayce saw in "the future" could be a *self-fulfilling prophecy.* Jayce sees the bad future, tries to prevent it and by doing so causes it to happen.

Yeah but if Mel told me to do something I fully well know I would be saying “yes anything else?” so when you look at it like that, bro is the most relatable guy in the show.
You know being on Jayce’s side really makes me realize something about myself. I really just love backing characters who can cause this amount of discourse. I mean between proudly wearing a “Cyclops is Right” shirt, Six from Little Nightmares being my #1 character I can’t seem to stop having characters who do mess up stuff for complex reasons be the ones I’m most invested in. 😂 And I don’t feel bad for it at all. I’ve just learn to accept the fact that whenever I discuss these characters I have to play Devil’s advocate when someone accuses of how messed up they are. But seriously Jayce blowing a whole through Viktor and seemingly causing everything to go to shit just made me start laughing because I was more interested than upset. I will follow the #Jayce Was Right trend all the way though. But also let’s be honest PB has done far worst than Jayce ever could in his lifetime.
When you think about it, everything in Arcane is Jayce's fault. THAT night NEVER would've happened if he hadn't gone to the Undercity and met Ekko. Ekko met Jayce, gives Vi the tip to head to his place to steal from him to pawn off his stuff for money. He has the crystals that Powder takes, one falls causes the explosion. That tracks the 4 back to Vander. Who then had to worry about his limited choices to avoid war. That leads Vi to try and offer herself up which led to Vander protect her. Then of course that leads to Grayson being killed and Cander kidnapped. Which then leads to THAT night. It's ALL Jayce's fault.

Before anyone gets on Jayce about Vander and Isha dying; it was Singed who injected Vander with the serum to turn him berserk, after everyone left his unconscious body alone with Vander.
It could be that, or it could be Vander's regeneration fighting back against whatever happened to all the other healed people etc.
@@MalzraAirwynn I think Viktor dying did affect him, but not to the point that he spews lava

This line is retroactively made better by the plot twist in the last episode 😂
Viktor giving Jayce the crystal doesn't mean Jayce copied Viktor's work. Jayce still did most of the work into actually researching and making HexTech. And was very capable of making and fixing things (like weapons) very quickly.
@Dragon_Aoi the line in the video was a joke. The joke was that Jayce copied the wizard. Obviously, that's not true, but that's why it's a joke. So, within the logic of the joke, Jayce did copy Viktor.

4:54 VICTORIAN TWINK😭😭
Dude bro just no
I know this supposed to be a deeply unserious video, but so many people unironically believe all this shit.
Completely agree
@@matthewjobin6665 he saw a massacre on the bridge that made him puke his guts out, he was constantly fighting for Zaun that season, even went against the council and helped VI, then broke peace with Silco and quit the council who are actually against and use Zaunites.

Jayce has been a character ping ponging between extreme decisions since he was introduced. Nothing about his actions changes that aspect of his character. Also, the prologue of the second season cements all of this as Jayce's fault, because he was supposed to destroy the Hexcore.
I mean, so far… at least two children have died as a consequence of his actions. 👀

And the chair is winning 😂😂😂😂😂 not Isha being the "Oh! another childe". And my favorite "Singe thanking him for leaving the body"
I see now why Jayce is the Main Character. He is the Chosen one. Destined to help god commit suicide. No one in any other timeline could of fucked up enough to save everyone from salvation.
I have a theory for this which is the Boot strap Paradox. In the beginning Viktor was actually an Anomaly and he started something which lead to a Chain of Events and in the case of this theory Arcane = Hextech but not the other way around. Even if Jayce did not exist Viktor would still come across Arcane one way or the other. He tried searching for billions upon billions of timelines and finally found Jayce as the solution to this anomaly. My poor boy did nothing wrong. Things were meant this way for this universe. He and Ekko broke the Anomaly.
And with jayce accidentally offing Isha actually that was Viktor controlling him in that moment. The rune was glowing and it looked like Jayce was struggling. Like he was trying to stop it from happening. But sth was forcing him. Also Viktor did mention there was another will at work. So that means there was a timeline where Jayce must have tried talking to Viktor in the commune but it went south and Runterra was destroyed so god Viktor must have wanted to blow a hole in to present Viktors chest to buy them more time😅
lmao
I think jayce might be in the right here, i do not trust the hexcore
I'm pretty sure that makes Heimerdinger the right one here.
Jayce is in the right. But for someone who’s in the right, he sure gets a bunch of children killed unnecessarily.
he couldn’t go another season without killing a kid smh
it was Singed who turned Vander berserk, not Jayce. he injected him with that device he used to track him while everyone ran out of the tent he was knocked out in.
no way, you're taking this video seriously... and are you even watching the show?

6:10 "his less conventionally attractive partner" wrong! Actually Victor is the one more conventionally attractive partner 🙄💅
8:14 “All one of them” you did not hahahaha
0:20 will to be fair the only one who's to blame for that is Viktor himself it's not Jayce's fault that his best friend infused his blood that had the shimmer poison in it with hextech corrupting to the point that it became sentient and is about to bring the void to unleash chaos to no end
It's incredible how a man as smart and talented as Jayce basically fail something as simple as keeping his word.
Intelligence means nothing if your other cognitive functions are trash.

Hey, I can totally relate

🙏🙏🙏
And people complain about him being ‘racist’ when yes, he set up the barriers on the bridge which was decidedly not good but also he’s the only person who got close to peace and independence for Zaun and Piltover, if Jinx just fucked off and didn’t blow up the council with a temper tantrum then everything would of worked, THANKS TO JAYCE
