Man... What a sad sad ending... I just finished it yesterday. It left me just angry... I wish it would have ended differently, but this is an amazing analogy on how cruel and violent we are as a human race. I would've loved Mikasa yo just live happy with Eren. It was such a tragedy.
OMG, that's the exact same line of thinking I thought of before going to sleep yesterday night & today morning I'm recommended a video which begins with that. ('Peace is the delay of war')... I was pondering about it based on impactful lines said by 2 characters from AoT & Naruto. AoT : Sergeant Gross - 'Peace can be a wonderful thing, but something about it is lacking. People actually want to see cruelty.' Naruto : (spoiler alert for the uninitiated) Pein - 'Humans are not the most intelligent creatures. This is the only way that peace can be achieved. And after several decades, that pain too will eventually fade with time. It will no longer be a deterrent and humanity will begin to battle once more. This time, they themselves will use this weapon against one another and reconfirm what true pain is. And then peace will be restored again, for a time. In the course of this endless cycle of hatred... pain will give rise to momentary peace. That is my dream'
I don't believe Aot has a singular core message. It has many. Depicting freedom in different ways. it deomstrates that conflict is nature and that no matter what age we find ourselves a part of, human needs and desire is innate and infinite in us as humans. The unjust treatment Ymir Fritz found herself in has repeated in many different ways over and over. Mikasa herself was about to be sold by the slavers. Eren has freedoms taken as a child, Eldians in Marley have their rights taken, just like the marleyans had suffered under Eldian tyranny. Human desire and nature is why we even have laws to combat our darker side of human nature. Is it easier to view those brought up in suffering and grow up to become broken and hostile or just be born with admirable traits? What do we do to tame those that naturally carry the darker sides of human nature further? Even outside of our own nature... humans endlessly must fight for resources, ideals, and their sense of justice to give their own lives a sense of fabricated value. If not, many people and cultures become disillusioned. The paradox of peace is that there must be conflict to feel or understand peace. Peace on its own is still not possible, to live is to partake in conflict. If we don't, we die, or we allow others to bloody their hands for what we need to live. Attack on Titan shows war and conflict and critiques it without rejecting it. To be human is to cause conflict. To be human is to wish for peace from our own inability to diverge from causing conflict. Someone like Armin actively tries to promote peace until all he can do is fight when peace does not offer him or those around him a viable solution to progress. Aggressive pacifism is sometimes just as cruel as heading into the conflict. At least you're no unguarded and ignorant of the darkness everyone has in them, this isn't to say pacifism is null of value, it simply does not correspond for larger groups, usually relies on like mindedness. Aot could never end in a way the conflict doesn't return and settle again.
I can subtitute all that with "NieR" and just fine. In less that 1 weak i got a booty, a tragedy, an emotion rollercoster and "oppresion" of dream. Why AoT is overhyped?
We have to admit every journey has an end but war is not a journey, it's a tragedy and tragedy never ends in human life.❤
Fabulous video
Thank God people are appreciating this damn story again.

Loved this video 🔥
Very happy you enjoyed!!
When Eren Kruger appears, he tells Grisha to "save Mikasa and Armin." That indicates history repeats itself.
@@mrasel-006 absolutely, the Attack Titan itself can be seen as this cycle of war
that indicates Eren send him partial memories

Illusion of freedom.

AoT is about in title:
Why the song "Vidinamel sekaiyahu-- " is playing?
The “nations built on conflict” part of this video sounds a lot like Israel
and america. and pakistan. all modern christian nations … saudi arabia … iraq … iran … etc etc etc.
I can subtitute all that with "NieR" and just fine. In less that 1 weak i got a booty, a tragedy, an emotion rollercoster and "oppresion" of dream.
