If you remember the last time Hamas and Israel negotiated a ceasefire in 2005... Hamas broke it every time. Israel's tactic of attempting to deter Hamas rather than remove them has partly led to the October 7th attack.

In another interview, he made clear that there’s no point of return for him. He has not seen his family for years as they have disowned him. His family are all Hamas supporters. I remember a video from a talk he gave at a university here in the US years ago, even after he explained thoroughly everything he knows, the pro-Palestine anti-Israel kids just refused to take in all the truths he was presenting and on the Q&A they just dismissed the gems of truth he shared.

I understand this man perfectly! As a Nigerian who has experienced the havocs Boko Haram and ISWAP have caused in the North-East region of the country, there's just no way to "negotiate" peace with them because chaos is the way of life they understand! Unfortunately for the likes of Qatar, Turkey and Iran shielding Hamas leaders, when they're done with Israel (should they succeed), they will be the next targets despite being Muslims themselves because to Hamas, they're not practicising Islam as they should with all the western influences!
