I'm so glad you talked to a man from a club about native american culture and the link to motorcycle culture. A lot of people see those headresses and skulls as insulting or offensive but I think if a club has roots in Native American culture you can't forget that. my club personally used to have a native man as our logo and his skin was deep red. I recently updated it to a skull with a headress because I felt the red skin was a thing of the past. to some a skull might be insulting but to me it's like a memorial to the ones we lost. I lost so many friends through covid, through accidents and just life and I try to immortalize them through that logo. lost but not forgotten. their spirits are free but always present. looking forward to the Jason Mamoa interview. be well.

Imagine how much greater a society could be if people would just sit down and listen more, we could better understand many misconceptions about people different then us. this was a great interview sose and cliff. thank you so much. on a side note, a former intl pres who is out bad was asked in interview why there were no black members in his club. he answered they had no problem with any color, but once you get in prison everything is broken down by color. so i mention that to say this, imagine how many walls and barriers could be broken down if those in prison stopped dividing by race and color, and judged each on character. just a thought.
I have recently been able to ride with a member and what I found was different than riding with other other MC members. Vetting was done on the road. Side by side. The talks were sincere and honest. Respect and Compassion for the Community was the topic throughout. I have ridden with lots of different clubs but I felt more authentic as a person when I was riding and conversing with the Redrum member. Big props to this club.
