I grew up in Whitby in the 90s, my Mom knew the Whitby/Oshawa chapter. To make a long story short, a lot of bad things were happening at our home because of our Dad. One day my Mom had enough, grabbed a knife and threatened everyone in the house to get out and she was calling the police. Everyone ran, cleared out the grow-op and drugs. She called her friend at Satan's Choice instead because she knew police would just take her kids away. The club all rode down to her house, picked us up and made sure we got to our Grandpa's safely. They made my Mom feel safe in making a decision that changed our lives forever for the better. We owe everything to them.

I grew up around Satan's choice members. First house I rented at 17 was owned by a former member that patched over to Outlaws and ascended to a very high rank in the area. He and my grandfather grew up together and were very tight, so I got the place easy. My retard friends trashed the place and my room mate fled, I ran too... My grandfather called me up and said, you get your ass back there, fix the place and apologize to him now. I did, head hung low, walk of shame, I'll never forget walking past his bikes, up the door, past his airplane hanger, and rang that door bell. Apologized and fixed it. He appreciated me manning up as a kid at 17. Never had any problems. So, they're good guys by my estimation. I never had the chance to join an MC, but I grew up around the lifestyle, and I have a lot of respect for it. Thanks for making these videos.

One thing though I'm pretty sure his brother was a member of the original Red devil's MC founded in Hamilton Ontario during 1948 (making it Canada's first 1% outlaw motorcycle club, Their three chapters in Ontario would patch over to Bacchus MC in 2014). Not to be confused for the Hell's Angels support Club from Sweden. The original Red Devils literally added the "original" after 2004 to differentiate themselves from Red Devils that many know. The Hell's Angels were on good terms with the original rd. Out of respect they did not set up their support Club Red Devil's in Canada until after original Red Devils joined Bacchus, another large Canadian club. The Red Devils in Canada were created in 2014-2015 by members of Hells Angels support club's most prominently the Gatekeepers MC and and couple others in Nova Scotia.

I dated an outlaw in an Ontario club .. he was very nice and the people at the club house where very respectful and no illegal activity was evident.. I did love riding tho but I stopped seeing him because I wasn’t over my ex and we got back together.. we are still good friends

@chawnvezina4914 I didn't kno Bernie patched over to the outlaws, I don't recall any of the shows about him mentioning it.
My uncle retired when they patched over, he couldn't ride anymore from injuries anyway.

Oh so that's Johnny K.9 i just commented on the book i have with Johnny doing leg wrestling with a Choice member.
Hamilton was one tough town back in the day, AKA 'Steeltown', 'The Hammer,' etc. but home to some of the most down-to-earth people in Southern Ontario. People involved in the wrestling business thought Johnny K-9/Bruiser Bedlam was one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet and one of the most positive, upbeat guys in the locker room. Not many people in the business knew about the double life he led. Nice shout-out to the old Red Devils MC. I remember their clubhouse on the beach strip. They were the probably the oldest MC in Canada and were very respected in the community. LF&R.

I’ve lived here in Hamilton since 1969 and I’ve been blessed to have gotten to know many fine fellows that ride together.

@Jordan-0692 he's done that before. Apparently he has an editor who sources stills for the videos. He made a couple errors in one video, me and another pointed out it and he acknowledged the error, but didn't do anything else.

I was a Burlington teenager at this time. K9 would ride his Harley all around Burlington and Hamilton with no shirt. He was enormous and really intimidating! This story is mostly accurate. Bernie Guindon was a local legend, you pronounced his last name wrong. You could update it with the story of K9 allegedly killing 2 lawyers in Ancaster at their home. He was eventually acquitted of charges. There is a ton of stories about Johnny K9 from these times. Ask your sources about the Bad Boy gym. Johnny and all his buddys hung out there.

I miss the parade of bikes that came through regularly back in the '90s.. It was like always seeing a Friday the 13th ride going to Port Dover... You don't hear that anymore unless it's Friday the 13th and you're near the highway. I swear if I hear it in the middle of the night now I turn into a child running to my front door because I don't want to miss it..

I live in the Metro Vancouver area and I remember the gang violence that erupted in the mid 2000's. It was out of control. The bacon brothers were on the news all the time and the red scorpion / UN beef was crazy. Many died over this including 1 of the bacon bros. The other two are still locked up. Our son was born on the day of the tragic Surrey Six Slaying where two innocent bystanders were caught in the middle. Organised crime and street gang violence has been a regular occurrence since then in the province of British Columbia.

Not the same Red Devils mc. His brother, was a member of a club of the same name (Red Devils) that operated in the Hamilton region. That club was its own entity. Furthermore, that club has since merged with another legendary Canadian club - Bacchus mc.

had a membership at bad boys gym on parkdale ave for years during K9s ownership and after when Bonner took over. weights/machines still all had the K9 insignia welds on them. watched the Lewis/Tyson fight with Johnny. away from the madness, he was a pretty cool guy. ahh the memories.

I'm from Hamilton, born and raised. In my lifetime I have met a few guys like this, either mob or bikers. I met him when I was 10 and taking a tour of the police station. Ian was in a holding cell, and bigger than the whole group of touring kids, holy shit he was a giant towering over us lol.
You can still hear some of the stories when they're drunk in the rougher parts of town!
I remember some of the news coverage in 2006 when he got picked up. My dad decided to take me on a crime tour of the city.
He brought me to the scene of Johnny Pops death, telling me the history, how and why he was killed. We saw the old club houses, and the talked about the differences between The Hells Angels and Satan's Choice MC.
I had a good true crime education!

This will be really interesting. I've read the book by Lorne Campbel and Peter Edwards, called Satan's choice, got it on my lap while typing this, the caption underneath writes "My life as a hard core biker with Satan's choice and Hells Angles. Has a few pictures of Lorne with founder Bernie Guindon, a couple with Sonny Barger with a plaster on his throat, looks like what you would have if you had a catheter. It's a really interesting book, also has a picture with a Hamilton Choice member doing leg wrestling with a wrestler called Johnny K-9. Highly recommended read, if you're interested in the MC world and definitely if you're not or never have been in a MC because it sheds some information about codes and the goings on in a club. The book is called.. Unrepentant. I know Lorne personally. And was in the penitentiary with im in the early 90's. Bernies book by Peter Edwards called Hard road is a better read. Trust me

Maybe you're think of another book, the cover is a guy with the clubs back patch although it doesn't have MC or 1% just the name and logo, and a gun sticking out of back of jeans. Great video as usual. Real talk, you might want to interview an acquaintance of mine. He got a real good story and perspective,he, has a few interviews about his 10 years he spent incarcerated after defending himself after an altercation with 2 people. He did kill the offenders,legally i add, but one was a cop. They had to nab him for something,assholes, and got him on illegal use of a fire arm. He's a very solid person and can see yall having another great video.

Pretty sure his brother that was a Red Devil would have been part of "The Original Red Devils", a Canadian club that patched over to Bacchus, another Canadian MC, a couple years ago when the other Red Devils came to Canada.
In Warren Ohio which is about 20 miles from my home is an Outlaws and Hells Angels club. The outlaw club is in Warren city and the Hells Angels had a club in Warren Township or Leavittsburg not exactly sure what they considered that. I don’t know if the hells angles club is still there.
A candle lit on both ends burns twice as bright but for half as long.........

I always remember the Choice being in Toronto not that much around the country. Rock Machine was all over Ontario and Quebec. Satan's Choice used to always meet up the street from me at the Knob Hill bar. Anyone who knows the bar will know what I'm talking about.
They would go back and forth from the Knobby to the Westy.(Westhill house)both on Kingston rd. in Scarborough.
