You can use World Legacy Clash for Quintet so that it doesnt OTK you and swing next turn with AGRD. Fiendish Chain/Forbidden Chalice + Treacherous also. You can Canadia it and if you manage to summon another Reactor next turn, you can boost with Concentrating Current. World Legacy Clash is kinda the best option but honestly AG decks are either OTK or bust, you should try winning before it gets summoned and considering the most common decks who summon it are gravekeepers and magician girls, AG have an advantage over those decks. Chaos Max Dragon, for now is just a meme card considering it’s skill related and I don’t know how often you encounter it. Cards to out it in an AG deck are Windstorm of Etaqua, Wall of Disruption or boost with Concentrating Current to get over it.

It works the better if you special summon Gearfried with red eyes baby dragons effect. Then as REBD becomes an equip card for gearfried, you can use gearfrieds effect by destroying REBD to destroy back row, followed by the next REBD effect which allows you to search for a Black Metal Dragon that can also be equipped to gearfried or Slash.
So all the hype aside, what's your honest opinion on the deck? Is the deck actually pretty strong? Since i now have to be f2p I dont wanna dig for 3 RE Gearfried if it won't be totally worth it.

When looking at cards in the card catalog (same place you can change your decks and view replays) you can click "how to obtain" which will show everywhere that card can be purchased. Sometimes, rarely, these cards will be rewards or exchangeable with tickets. Black metal dragon is in the box Blazing Rose as UR, just 1 Gearfried is in Masters of Shadow, as a UR, just 1 And red eyes slash dragon is in the box Resonance of Contrast, as a UR and only 1 I personally recommend going for black metal dragon first because you can also get red eyes baby dragon and the black stone of legend, 2 each, also in Blazing Rose, and though they will be dropped eventually they will allow you more flexibility with different red eyes variants until you get gearfried. I personally used 2x anti-magic arrows and 2x A/D changers until I could get gearfried If you use beat down you can get lethal with just 1 arrow lots of times, assuming you have your red eyes engine going

Red Eyes never stopped being good. It fell out of favor when Desperado and Avery got popular, because it couldn't counter them. But now that they're niche, Red Eyes is free to make a come back. Just because a deck stops seeing play doesn't necessarily mean it stopped being good 👌
Ichitaro Sakamoto the new minibox, there’s not really a replacement as the deck was built specifically for that card (the inclusion of blast with chain) but you could just make a regular red eyes deck without. Red eyes gearfried isn’t critical.

You barely need more than 1 or 2 copies. Third copy only bricks. I prefer running an extra A/D Changer to avoid Floodgate.
