      Because people use "überhaupt" mostly in negative sentence: Nein, überhaupt nicht! = No, absolutely not!

    As a German, I was very surprised when you suddenly started speaking German xD You two are so talented! Thanks for always giving us such great videos.
    Sound a little weird, but if there's one thing I don't like, then it's my own country's cuisine. Chinese food, on the other hand, is the most delicious stuff in the world to me. I only grew up with typical western 'Chinese' all-you-can-eat buffets, so your videos opened up a whole new horizon to me! Thank you!

      Hallo! Peter hier und guten Tag/Morgen/Abend weil ich keine Ahnung habe, wie viel Stunden das ist in Deutschland oder wo Sie wohnen. Ich finde die deutschen Essen nicht sehr schlecht, aber es gibt etwas, dass ich komisch finde (Currywurst, wie kann Mann das machen mit Ketchup und Currysoße 😂😂😂)

    I wish I was at that lunch, it looked so tasty and special. It occurred to me that there must be so many people in China that don't have Aunts, Uncles and Cousins because of the one child policy era. Also, how stunning is Peter's Aunt!!!

      We 80s 90s generation still have aunts uncles and cousins because our parents have siblings. Most of us just don’t have siblings 😢

      That's actually Peter's parent's younger cousin not direct siblings. In China every member of the extended family are also aunt, uncle or cousins. One child policy doesn't stop you from having aunts uncles and cousins. Chinese kinship is a lot closer than the western world's idea of kinship

    As a native grew up in Shaoyang, the dishes that Peter’s aunt presented are so good, all are local specialties, Amy you are so lucky to have Peter as your guide and to be invited to a local home and try these authentic nice dishes.

    The art of Chinese cooking lies in 手感 (feel), so each household has more or less a slightly different taste even if they are cooking the same dish. Stir fried beef , veges & rice is already a complete meal on it's own; but in Chinese culture when you have guests there tends to be more dishes on the table! Typically when you visit a Chinese household its usually 三菜一汤 ie 3 dishes and one soup.

    Another interesting video, nice job, Amy. I wish at least the Australian understands that Chinese never treat Western people as enemies which is different from what the western medias said. I mention this because my friend who is Asian where his son get bullied in high school where the Western teen yelled at him "Get the hell out of our country, you evil Chinese" which I felt very upset for him. The brainwash power from the media is terrible.

    That wrinkly orange, my mom called it a Buddha orange if I remember correctly. We're from Hong Kong, so that might what it's called down south. Also Peter's aunt has a Hex clad wok!!! It is touted as the rolls Royce of cookware by Gordon Ramsey. I so want one.

      @@郑会良 I was just following the same methodology and idea to learn all these different languages and it worked! I mean I’m already fluent in English so I just learn French/German/Japanese/Hungarian like how I learned English and voila, that makes me a polyglot 😂 you can do that as well once you feel like you’re already fluent in English 😁

    8:44 not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but this fruit is sold and marketed in grocery stores in the US as the "sumo fruit," I assume because of its shape? They're really good--like you said, like a sweet-and-sour orange :)

      The problem is Peter (or Pierre you may call) did NOT grow up eating spicy food. I grew up in Guangdong where spicy food is considered the number one taboo 😂😂😂

    Here in America, we have a brand or tangerine called Sumo citrus. They have exact same shape as the big wrinkled tangerine you had.

    that mandarin is available here in Australia too! They are called Sumo mandarin and they are quite popular, you can see them sesaonly in Colesworth.
