The unrelenting, indefatigable Electric Bass takes Center Stage in this Video! The Bass, with its respected notes and pitches, has supported and sustained its place in music history!
The playing in this video is naked and raw. A Bass showcase of musical ideas coming together one after the other, unrehearsed and “On The Spot.” The intro, speaking sections, demonstrations and ending w/final credits are the only time instruments, other than the BASS, can be heard. Everything else is ALL BASS!
All so-called mistakes are as is. They are all a part of the process of creating art and music.
In this video, the baselines, grooves, melodies, harmonies, chords, etc. are all in conjunction with the Bass playing multiple roles to serve the music without accompaniment. Oh yeah, there is a lot of Bass in this place!
Due to its significant nature, showcasing the Bass, its notes and various functions, opens up vast realms of possibilities, creativity and imagination. The Bass is the foundation in which everything else rests upon and depends on.
Come with me as I feature the ELECTRIC BASS, spontaneously, uninhibited, unaccompanied and all by myself. Just sacred creativity, inner musing and a Bass gathering with you!
