As a child who grew up in a very conservative household who wasn't allowed to listen to anything outside of country or oldies, I remember finding the MK soundtrack randomly, and I was blown away by this track. I didn't even know that this kind of music existed and I was enthralled by it and still am.
I've always loved this ever since I saw it in the Spider-Man trailer. I remember going to school the next day and trying to mimic the sound of the song with my mouth to the other children because we were all so excited for Spider-Man, lol....UHHGG Nostalgia. I'm going to be playing the crap out of this song while swinging around NYC when Spider-Man PS4 comes out.
As a kid, I first heard this in mortal kombat annihilation (movie), then test drive 6, then in the film the matrix, then spider man 2001 banned trailer (twin towers) in theaters and finally, motorstorm. I could NOT leave this song "far behind ".
I always associate this song with the Spider-Man trailer. I think they also played it in some of the commercials (when the movie was close to coming out at the time) after that banned trailer.
This song was used as backing for fights in both 'Mortal Kombat' Annihilation' and 'Charlie's Angels' ... two of my favourite films of all time (guilty pleasures of course) and that alone makes it a masterpiece for the ages!
Man, I don't even know where to begin. The feelings that I get when I hear the intro to this song, the memories that flood back as it progresses, the energy it brings me. Whether it be some of my favorite childhood games, or movies... this song somehow always managed to find it's way there. I remember to this day, unboxing my PS3 for the first time in 2007 and with it came a little game called MotorStorm; a title that brought me hundreds of hours of joy across the years. Whenever I go back and play it, I HAVE to sit through and watch the intro. Every. Single. Time. And when I do, the sensation is always there, it never ceases to send chills down my back. I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you for being a part of making such a timeless piece, one that in my eyes will never lose it's 'wow' effect, even through time. You have brought joy to many brother, myself included. So once again, thank you.

@@SimonShackletonMusic2:26 Ahhhhhhhh TOO LOUD, TOO LOUD
Just discovered this in 2022. Absolutely bangs. Takes me into an alternative dimension where civilization hits cyberpunk dystopia by the early 1990s. They skip touchscreens and go straight to retinal implants and brain chips
It still sounds fresh to my ears because it's like a vision of a future that's yet to hit us. And when it does hit, blue-skinned outlaws will still be blasting this as they rocket down the neon-light expressways
Tha Cliff!

Its Yandu! from Guardians of the Galaxy :D
Can't believe how far I had to dig through the comment section to find someone else who thought this
Lunatic Calm released this and it was really good. Its a rock anthem that you love immediately. They rap the lyrics but this song is bouncing! Leave you Far Behind was brilliant stuff it was a quality track! I think its been used in The Matrix because its so cool and such a brilliant rock track. They should consider this as a song to promote a kick ass movie in the future its brilliant! An action movie of some kind. Brilliant song!
