Roger flew me out of Mexico in 1972 and saved my life. I won't say what I was doing but I wouldn't be here today without him. I'm so happy to see that he's doing well.
Roger delivered my second child while we were stranded in the cascade mountains. If it wasn’t for him my daughter wouldn’t be graduating high school this year ❤️
This is one of the most colorful interviews I've seen on this channel. Roger is not wrong when he says he could have done anything with his life. He's smart, funny, and tough as nails. At 81 years old, he's sharp as a tack god bless him and his family. I wish him and his family many, many healthy, happy years on this planet.
The is one of the best ones yet, need to do another one of him. I loved how he complements the people he meets whether bad or good. One of the beautiful things he says is the beauty he saw in nature around the world. The poem brought tears to my eyes and I’m sure she is as beautiful as him
Women are sadly the easiest to sell and that’s why women are the leaders in Credit debt and impulse buying, so you are more easily gullible and belive these stretches. Roger is real and true about a lot but he’s also trying to retell his story now after reflection in jail. He’s smoothening over the rough edges with a big smile and some dental work. Still fun and entertaining but I know where the story starts and ends and details are exaggerated and more. Glad your health is still ok Roger and you’re doing decent and came out semi ok. Hope you did truly save some and hid some and the wife held your honor in a backyard hole. 😉😹
Well said! If you want more I highly suggest two other podcasts he's done: Lex Fridman Podcast or Koncrete Podcast. Both are on UA-cam. I prefer the Lex one, they had a deeper 3 hour conversation and he had better questions. The Koncrete one was good too don't get me wrong. Alright, so there's 6h o Rogers story for you to enjoy if you'd like!
To generalize women that way is wierd. Credit card debt can have many factors that play into it. To say women are gullible tho is kinda crazy. That statement and ur broken English make u sound like the taliban lol
71 yrs to hone his craft of story telling and the last 20 in prison refining it. Like chuck Zito -Roger here sadly is retelling history a bit with a 😀 smile. Changing the vibe and dynamic a bit and rechanging the reputation. They both similarly are now trying to make their story sound like it was all done with respect and style and integrity and honor etc. for example chuck zito NOW tries to smile and tell tales like he gave everyone a chance, was verbally respectful first, during and after, never cheap shorted anyone, or never sucker punched anyone. Come on people, the 70/80s even 90s were sucker punch king times. But chuck and Roger are now trying to act with smiles changing the perception how the old events happened and how they acted during those events. Chuck was a meat head bouncer body guard, not the Brightest guy. So don’t try to tell me chuck that you always were soo reserved and thought first and chill and have people a chance to reconsider a fight first and that he always was being respectful etc…
This guy and Chuck Zito don't have alot in common if u ask me. This man is still married to the same woman and has the respect of his children. He lived in a wild era. Alot of his stories are easy to verify. Do some research and u will find out he is bonafied. He does glorify his part to be sure

Wow great show Mark. Such a great storyteller. This is what you should do more often. There's only so many drug addicts and street girls that a person can take. Keep mixing it up with content like this.
‘Story’ teller, based off true events. Roger, like chuck Zito and many other old timers making the YTube rounds recently try to retell history with a big smile and trying to recreate their image a reputation a bit, Roger had 20yrs in jail time to sit and think and rework the storylines, he’s just smoothed a lot of rough edges around and cut out some not so flattering details and exaggerated others. Chuck zito is a bit more extreme excessive in his dramatics while changing his story because he needs to not look like a diqhead being a bouncer and fighter. So Roger doesn’t have as much to change to keep reputation fairly respectable but he still exaggerates and embellishes a bit. Prices and amounts and saved and had and bought and didn’t gift, etc. if anyone been in The game long enough you know the numbers and also how people interact in this situations and expect and rogers stories don’t always add up perfectly. Not saying he wasn’t that big and not saying he didn’t work with who he did but it’s sad because these guys don’t need to lie, if they actually just told the truth the whole way thru they are still very fun entertaining stories. It’s like being a champion and lying about things on the journey how you got there, makes no sense. But thats human nature and being older and reliving your old career and trying to have one more night of fun and the spotlight thru the story, and so they lie….its sad , its not neccessary. But they do it for the adrenaline rush, always happens. Rare these guys dont lie a tad more but they always do….
I get what ur saying about Zito but Reaves said some details that were very unflattering. Getting shot up, landing in thorn bushes, hot peppers up his rear lol...these are rather embarrassing. I think u are comparing him and Zito a bit too close. I get what ur saying tho. He turns on the charm a bit but don't we all?
