4:20-4:30. I somewhat disagree. Romans 5 For where the law is known the trespass abounds all the more. He looked at the Jew and said you have fallen even further short of the God. ( If falling short and shorter can even be quantified against perfection.)
I apologize, but where the Law (torah) is practiced sin does not abound because breaking the law is the definition of sin (1 john 3:4). The strength of sin is the law, because now you know what sin is so there is no excuse, strengthening the consequences of sin. Yeshua said, Luke 12:46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. So The consequences are worse for those that understand. Notice the punishment still exists even if one does not understand. Also notice that this passage is Jesus warning believers that if you do not prepare and sanctify yourself to stop sinning, you will have your portion with THE UNBELIEVERS. That’s serious stuff.
