I was given a free wireless Android Auto upgrade after purchasing :) Yes the price is steep BUT by following the incredibly detailed and thorough install video you can easily do this yourself and save a MINIMUM of $250 to an install shop. My advice, take your time and work carefully. I had the install video on a tablet in the garage with me. Yes it's expensive but once it's installed it is worth every penny. Works exactly as advertised. No better way to straightforward upgrade the head unit in your GX460.

I've had two GX 460s I wish I had that module when I owned them now I have the GS 350 F sport 2016 and it works outstanding on that to say the least. Just thought I'd point out it's also worth asking them about. Lots of ways to enhance your ride.

I went to the local Lexus dealer in my country and inquired about the possibility of adding an Android screen to the car, as my car is a Lexus GX 2021 jeep, but they told me that changing the screen may cause a malfunction in the car’s electricity, which affects the car and causes a malfunction in the car computer. I saw you mentioned that the voice activate button does not work on the steering wheel but have to use the touch screen. What about the pickup and hangup buttons above that voice activate button? Is the car microphone used or is there a separate one for this unit? The video made it seem like the cars but I wanted to verify. How are software updates handled? Does it update with the phone or microsd or what? I'm an engineer, ask a lot of questions, people get mad, sorry in advance 😅
It’s using the phones gps. Call screen will show when you get a phone call. Pickup and hang up buttons will work. Factory mic will be used, firmware updates with your phone,
Sorry I didn’t read the previous comment. The nav/dvd in motion controller will allow you to access grayed out functions while driving. Dvd will only work if you have mark levinson
i installed it and had no issues then my factory navi was having gps issues, doesent work and when i use car play it was only half screen, i took it apart and didnt mess with it for a month and i just installed the beatssonic again and works i hope no issues i checked the wires make sure no issues nothing was unpluged

How is the audio cable incorporated, and it’s purpose in the system? My concern is losing audio quality on my mark Levinson when using car play (which I would intend to do all the time). A 1.5mm audio Jack does not give me the warm and fuzzy that I keep all ML quality.
The beauty with our kit is that now all audio is routed to the car Bluetooth which means the ML quality is retained. The audio will sound exactly as how it sounds now. You may even plug your phone to the car usb for even better audio quality utilizing your ML sound system
Just received my unit, and about ready to install this weekend. Quick question - The extra cables on the dual USB port you installed from Amazon... what are those for? If you don't connect them, do you lose the ability to use both USB ports?

Sorry for the confusion. This is an old video and was initially compatible with 2014-2019. Shortly after this video we were able to get it to work with models all the way to 2021.
They also have mirroring for the GS I have the GS 350 F sport. Take a look at both before deciding which one is best for you. They have both. They also have an awesome gas pedal accelerator not really sure what it's called but look around or ask them it sure did change my car and I already had the fastest they have now it's amazing Even more amazing should I say. Also easy install.

We secured them with the factory wires to ensure they don’t move around if the vehicle drives through bumpy roads

Welp. I guess I know what I'm doing. I installed a Pioneer MVH1400NEX in my 2001 RSX last year and I've been missing CarPlay since I bought the GX.

You can connect the power to acc power. Best is to use the fuse tap and tap it to ACC on the fuse box under the steering wheel area

We stopped recommending those flush mount usb from Amazon as they tend to malfunction after a few months of use

Presumably up until the final facelift that introduces Android Auto/Apple CarPlay to the car from the factory.
