Did you end up going skiing in Korea? Which resort did you go to?

Brilliant video and review. I need small help in making decision. I am visiting sk in December. On 12th dec i plan to ski. I will be doing this for the first time so plan to take basic lesson package- 1 day tour. Out of the following which one will you guys recommend from seoul:
    1. Welli hilli ski resort
    2. Vivaldi
    3. Elysian
Please note i am completely new to ski and would want to enjoy and make most of it. Dont want to end up at some resort that has very limited options for beginners. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Thanks for your reviews. I wish to go to both Yongpyong and High1 and would like to know if there are public transportation accessing one from the other. Is there a bus that goes from High 1 to YongPyong or the other way round?

Thanks for the video. I'm planning to head to Alpensia for 4 days mainly for skiing in Dec. It's my first time skiing in S. Korea, beginner and am planning to take lessons. Should I be heading there or should I just go to a nearer place from Seoul? Also I've emailed a couple of Ski companies but none replied. Is that normal? Thanks :)

If it's your first time then you don't need to go so far to learn how to ski. You can try the resorts like Vivaldi park, Phoenix Park, Elysium, etc. They are good resorts to learn how to ski

How long would you recommend going skiing for in each place? I've been skiing a few times and am intermediate/a little experienced. Is it enjoyable to go for 1-2 weeks?

Usually people go skiing in Korea for a couple of days. I usally go for 2 or 3 days. But if you are a beginner and still want to practice a lot, you can definitely stay longer.

Are there bus routes dedicated for High1 or is it better to rent a car to get there? Thinking of trying Korea if Japan still doesn't open in the coming 2 years.

Yes, there are buses running in winter only to High 1 ski resort. You can check it through the High 1 official website. It's also possible to go by train.

listing biggest requires some qualification me thinks… shouldn’t Muju be in the list?
