Familiar places, and in winter you can have a great time there. In the spring there were many closed food courts, and only cyclists. But somewhere else there was snow. Thanks for the video 🙂👋

Thanks a lot! 🙌 Still haven't been to Yongpyong when it's not winter but it looks like the MTB park is really nice! We will definitely have to check it out soon!

We went to Welli Hilli (or whatever they spell that) on monday thanks to your previous video and I was contemplating getting an X3 ski pass for the next season cause I've never been to Yongpyeong (High one was fun, Phoenix not so much) and thanks to your video I think I will buy one ! Your riding skills are pretty similar to mine and my only wish is to get my husband to Yujin's level ! She got pretty good !! Thanks for the ski videos !!!

X3 is a great deal for sure! Haha I completely agree that Phoenix Park isn't very good. We went there yesterday and it was so bad that we actually only did 2 runs and left to go to High 1. Thanks a lot for checking out the videos Marine! It's hard to convince your partner to ski a lot, but as an example Yujin has gone from being tired just thinking about skiing to begging me to go to the ski hill these days so it's great to see her progress and enjoy the sport as much as myself! Hope you can convince your husband to do the same! Enjoy the slopes and hope to see you out there!

Thank you for your sharing, may I know is the terrain park open in mid Dec?
Think I'll be traveling on the opening few days.

No worries! The terrain park normally doesn't open until January, but Phoenix Park has rails and jumps setup starting in early December if you want! But definitely keep an eye on Instagram #용평리조트 and check out the recent photos in December as they might make their park earlier this year

Is there any powder, which one will you choose high one or yongpyong. thank you! ( if you can compare it with chamonix) ps i have been there.

Powder is extremely rare in Korea unfortunately because it rarely snows. Most of the snow at ski resorts is manmade.
I would choose High 1 over Yongpyong for the snow and skiing, but Yongpyong has a better village with more things to do.
I've never been to Chamonix, but I don't think any of the mountains in Korea can compare to it to be honest!

Well It’s a powder party. Skiing is expensive, but it’s cheaper than therapy

Woohoo! 😁 Haha yeah skiing is way too expensive to be honest, but it makes the winter go by a lot faster!

    waste of time and money

Skiing in Korea is definitely nothing "special," but while living here I'd rather get out and be in the mountains than just stay in the city all the time. If you want to make a trip for skiing/snowboarding in Asia, Hokkaido in Japan is absolutely unreal!
