Yo, my friends! Happy to be chatting with ya in the comments again. I hate saying this in the videos but please like the video and comment. This time of year when the lawn season it wrapping up, those easy pieces of engagement from you help tell UA-cam that you still care about these kind of videos, and they'll keep showing them through the offseason. Appreciate ya!
Walk and talks are good and so are the scripted videos. In all honesty though just good to see you back and whatever you put out will be worth it. Was getting worried having not seen you for a few months, so glad you came back!
Thanks for All you do and teach. Here in Angier NC (close to Raleigh) I follow your advice and have gotten great results. No complicated chemistry lesson. Thanks!
Hey BudgetLawns, just keep doing what you're doing, or choose to do. I appreciate the content and the nuggets of information, it's motivated me to get out and try to maintain my lawn out here in Vegas. Keep up the good work.
Same here in south Tx., no rain for months , don't want $500 water bills, hope the fertilizer I put down earlier in season keeps the roots alive along with nights of fog watering grass
The rain will come my friend and when it does will come in buckets meanwhile we are experiencing a cool wet spring here in Sydney. The lawn is greening up nicely. Thank you for Hugo’s capture story, great detective work. Welcome back and I enjoy any content you create!👍🇦🇺👊😁
Welcome back bro, just do what you do best!! Whatever you put out is always great content!! We all are going through things; I was sidelined this season due to illness. My neighbors cut my yard this season. One did the front and one did the backyard. I hated it! 😂😂 Do whatever is best for you Travis!! We will watch and enjoy it all.
Sorry to hear about your illness man. I hope everything is ok and you’re on the mend. Appreciate the words of encouragement. Great thing about lawn care is there’s always a next season! Thanks so much for your continued support. I appreciate you! 💪👊
Oklahoma and we just got 'blessed' with a near miss 35 degree low. I should have two more weeks of green Bermuda and the crabgrass looks like a freezer burnt spinach salad. Suck it, crabgrass! No need to waste money on Quinclorac for you, LOL.
Hello Travis always great to see another video , were in the same boat here up north abnormal high temps and no rain since September 10 big drought alot of people not watering and got caught off guard with their lawns going into early dormancy . take care man
Followed your fertilization schedule from previous videos. My lawn feels the most ready for the fall/winter and I’m confident I’ll keep the winter weeds away this time.
Good job catching that armadillo! We never used to have them in North Ga. They have been slowly moving north every year. Not a good finish for me either with the Bermuda. Pre emergent is down and it will come back next year!
Pesky varmints. I had a rabbit dig a nest in my backyard. Stupid thing covered the hole with clippings. Yeah, I stepped in it and wrecked my knee. Had to pay the neighbor kid to mow for about a month. I guess it just hasn't been a good season. Oh well, upward and onward. Glad to see ya!
I enjoy your videos as i watch them over and over to assist me in taking care of my Bermuda lawn. Take care of you and yours during the off season and hopefully see you next season. I enjoy the conversation about lawn care. I dont need to see you walking back and forth putting down fertilizer...😅
Same here no rain for 8 weeks. 90 to 95 daily, we haven't had 1 day in tune 80s yet average Soil temp is 83 to 85 ish so I've not put any preemergent down, prob will at the end of October. Grass is mostly all brown and stressed even with an inch of irrigation weekly. Smh. This year (plus last 2) were huge deficits in rain. We've gotten 1/2 the yearly rain we're supposed to get for 3 years! It's terrible.
Love it!! Was predicting the vid as you said. Almost 0 rain this year. Come to Pea Ridge, I’ll show you how we rid critters lol. I think I was good on my timing but maybe a reminder video when to fert
I wouldn't. I leave my new sod herbicide free in the first year. Some folks will apply once it's rooted but that's not my style. It will have better root development in the first year if not inhibited by a pre emergent. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
No wait till the latest you can in spring at the earliest, around april. Probably best to spray quinclorac or red top weed stop for lawns march 1st to get the baby crabgrass b4 it's big and strong and hard to kill. You could do light rate of image herbicide in November to get any poa annua that's started.
hey bro miss your vids i have a story for you , my best friends son just graduated from penn state , i called him the other day and asked him what hes been up to , and you know what he said? he said im moving my son to arkansas he just got a job in little rock , i was like what were from pennsylvania, we dont go to arkansas

To hot 🥵
Lawn looks pretty bad lol
No shame in that man. You can only do so much. Gives ya something to work on next season.
Was just a nasty dry year this year for sure!
I had a rough fall too. Fungus seems to be the culprit
