Great review. I haven't had as much time to drive my ZL1 1le as I would have liked. It currently sits in my garage with about 400 miles on the clock after having it for about a month now. But looking forward driving it from Texas to California. They are built to be driven and that's what I intend to do. So happy to see you out enjoying yours. Nate, you bring up some very key points especially regarding the clear wrap (Xpel) It's really the rock chips that other vehicles cause that are the most worrisome, such as kickback from 18 wheelers and other vehicles ahead of you. If you get a rock chip bad enough it will go through the paint and leave a really bad black mark on the car. Getting too many of them will almost force you to have the bumper painted or replaced. Both options are very costly. I actually wrapped the car before I got new tires but I did everything in the first few days of ownership. Every vehicle I own is wrapped for that reason. Also you bring up a very real world concern with the dismal fuel economy. I've found that driven hard, they struggle to get 15 mpg; however, when driven civilly as I have been doing for break in, I am averaging about 26 to 27 mpg on the highway at 70 mph on my daily commute without cruise control. I believe if driven with restraint and like a normal vehicle, it can achieve over 400 miles on a single tank of gas. I'm going to test that theory on a trip to New Mexico soon. But to be clear that is not why we buy these cars. It's just nice to know that the engine can be nearly as efficient as my 2020 Honda Accord Touring 2.0t. Again, appreciate the great content. If you start tracking the Z, you may want to consider wrapping the car as rocks kicked up at those speeds will go straight through the clear coat. If you want to maintaining the cars prestine appearance for possible resale, it may be worth looking into in the near future. 😉
You are correct about the wrapping and I may do it soon. Also thinking of doing a custom wrap 👀🔥 . And I may need to try a different way of driving in terms of mpg right now I’m clocking 12 mpg 🤣🤣🤣😵💫. I’m coming to the realization that the clear coat wrap may just have to be a bullet that I bite. For the better though, let’s gooooo 🔥🔥🔥🌪💯💪🏾

Yes Sir 🔥‼️ I got the 1LE over the standard ZL1 because personally I just love the look a lot more. I don’t daily it anymore as I used to but I will start tracking it very soon 🔥🔥💪🏾
