Especially on the street or drag strip. I just like cars for the looks, the engine rumble, the exhaust note and that brief pull from the acceleration. The 2SS would probably be just fine for me. However I love the looks of the ZL1. I like knowing I am faster than most cars on the street lol. Even if I would rarely use the power I like knowing it is there. I ordered a manual in both as well. @@QueTheChaotic Not for me, but I only put 4k miles on it in the 4 years I had it. The plans were to boost it, but then I started reading all of the bad things with cylinder 7, and that put an end to those thoughts.
Also thanks for the review. Most of the reviews for these vehicles are the same. Your perspective is different although I cannot put my finger on exactly what it is, you are on to something for certain. No one talks about the tires, brakes, the cost of those things, and so on. I see a lot of low mile ZL1 Camaros with multiple owners. Any idea why that would be? I'm guessing they thought they wanted one, drove it, and for some reason they didn't. I'd be interested to get your perspective as an owner. Thx again
Thanks a lot. My ZL1 has been sold so I'm added to that list now. For it to be $15000 more than the SS 1LE, it wasn't as fun. It was dumb fast in a straight line but I can't utilize that power at all, not even at the tracks near me. It was the car I wanted but didn't need.
I hear you. I love a lot on the ZXL1 that the Z28 doesn't offer. I still want it though lol. I hear Mississippi has some with no mark up. You would have to find a dealer with allocations to order one. Not sure who does.
Appreciate your nuanced takes here, bro. I gravitate so much towards the ZL1 for the torque and the sound, but I plan to track my next car which I have never done before and hearing this take has me thinking a regular V6 or V8 with the 1le package should do it. This thing might legit get me (and others) killed lol. Hell, even Randy Pobst only has a V4 1le lol so the V6 or V8 would prob do it for my newbie ass.
That's it right there. I love the ZL1 on looks alone. As far as a need, the 4 Cylinder is probably just as fun to toss around if not more. I have a video where I lost to one at an autocross

I have a friend selling his GT350 tomorrow and another one who bought one last week. It all depends on what you want most. The ZL1 is fastest. The M3 is the most versatile. The GT350 is a fun car to rev out. Do you want to mod?

@@QueTheChaotic Not for me, but I only put 4k miles on it in the 4 years I had it. The plans were to boost it, but then I started reading all of the bad things with cylinder 7, and that put an end to those thoughts.
@@wrenchesinmotion3282 aww man. That’s great that you didn’t have any issues but it sucks that they are problematic
I agree with all of these points ! Definitely in love with the Big Z
5th gen z28 would be dopeeeeew
Agreed.
Uh oh!
Most important thing to consider: Camaro looks like the new Mustang. 🤣🤣🤣
😆😆😆 dude you’re a trip
🤣🤣🤣 no sirrrrr it looks better.
LOL
keep da BIG Z ,,i aint got none of them yet but want to ore order 2023 zl1 1le , what you think? And where can i do so ?
@@QueTheChaotic I will check that video out! But ya, the ZL1 has a magnetic pull on me. It's almost like a sexy girl with a big butt that I know is not the best choice for me due to her being a bit crazy...but that big butt...can I resist it? lol. We will see. Not gonna buy anything for another year.

Great video👏🏾 definitely broke it down so the purchase can make SENSE lol
Hey! Thanks a lot! How are you enjoying yours so far?
@@QueTheChaotic Heyhey👋🏾 no problem and I love it. I can't wait until I'm able to start doing some of my "tasteful" mods lol but I'm enjoying it

the gt500 and the redeye and jail break are significantly more money tho compared to the zl1 8:28
True
Excellent video man
Glad you enjoyed it
Enjoy all American muscle. Since you had a GT-350 what can you tell me about it. I just think it’s better then the GT and the GT-500. Flat plane crank is hard to beat. Looking at getting one next year your thoughts. Thanks and enjoy the channel.
I appreciate you man. I would put the GT350 as my top Mustang with the Mach 1 as a close #2. If you do get a GT350, make sure it was WELL taken care of. Those engines aren't bulletproof like the coyote. Revving out the Voodoo is quite the experience.
Owned a 2016 gti, traded that in for a 2019 440i (500whp), now a year later I’m looking to either get a zl1, an m3, a gt350, or something else. Any ideas? Not sure I’ll get a gt350 anymore because of all the issues it has.
I have a friend selling his GT350 tomorrow and another one who bought one last week. It all depends on what you want most. The ZL1 is fastest. The M3 is the most versatile. The GT350 is a fun car to rev out. Do you want to mod?
Good vidoe bro! I've def been searching for a zl1 and possibly thinking about trading the 2ss 1le but that car is so much fun and I haven't even gotten to really test the potential. I'm going to hang on a little bit longer but I def want the ZL1 in an auto lol. And 4k for brakes and rotors....that's def something to consider.
Yessir! Thanks a lot Q! I always say the 2SS 1LE is the one to get. But the ZL1 is just over the top lol
@@QueTheChaotic 😂
I would go camaro yenko over hellcat.
Good video, great points to consider.
Thanks!
Z28 is hard and the ZL1 is hard. idk man, hard choice 🔥
Everyone is making good points. The best answer is BOTH! I got some work to do!
@@QueTheChaotic FACTS 🔥🔥
I'm not gonna track mines at all I just want one. Fuck it....! If you got the money and want something you love go for it.
Lol Amen
Did this man say "4 cylinder SS 1LE"? Wth is even that?!
🤣
A ZL1 performance package is worth reaching for
Yes agreed, I bought the ZL1 1LE and do not regret it. Was considering the SS 1LE but glad I went with the ZL1.
🙏Thank you brother Que.
You’re welcome! I gotta turn on post notifications for you. I missed your second upload!
Nice one Dad!
The zl1 still has the front end from 16-18 wouldn't by anything newer it's a hard pass
Good information! Thanks!
You're welcome
5 gen Camaros have more interior room than six gen Camaros, other than that the sixth gen is a better machine.
What are the 3 things ?
Z28 is nice, but I wouldn’t do it.
Whats the best tires to use for your zL1?
Depends on your goals. How do you plan on driving it?
@@QueTheChaotic thanks for the response..mainly day to day driving. Might hit Mexico when I get use to 650 hp
@@whoizcuatro the stock tires or good. Or even Michelin pilot sport 4s
Gt500 and hellcat lost to the ZL1 there is a video on the actual race
2023 v8 are no longer available in Canada. Just found out.
Aww man. Temporarily I hope
@@QueTheChaotic bunch of us were talking. Some of the group got a bit greedy and tried to make some money in the used car market. Sold their ZL1’s ss1le’s They made a bit of money. Now. They are trying to Oder a any v8 Camaro for 2023 and they being flat out told no.
@@SudeepC1973 wow. That sucks big time
How did you lose to the 4cyl
Lighter weight
Hell to the f naw you best not trade the Jrue-gatti in for a Z28! 😂
😆😆😆😆😆
I’m gonna have to steal that
That’s not a track car bro 😂it’s close but not necessarily the zl1 1le is the track car your suspension is set up for the street dnt get me wrong it’s set up very well but so much rubber in the suspension to be a track car the zl1 1le suspension is connected directly to the body of the car where as the base ZL1 is separated by a rubber bushing in the suspension
What about the SS 1LE. That’s a track car and they have a very similar suspension. The ZL1 1LE is an extreme track car.

True. It's different from a roll but that's not my thing
@@QueTheChaotic rolling races are dumb but still fun, hit it from a dig and then claim your cars fast,
I have a 2010 2ss manual when I first for it I was shocked any dig I did I was left behind off the line, I did a dig with a 4 cylinder and he flew off the line.
Turns out the 5th gens have something called torque management useless option 😂 when I put headers and tuned my 5th gen I turned off all the nicks and nanny's that hold it back, now when I do diggs I'm off the line right away with some wheel spin.

Z28 is bad ass, but I don’t think it has the technology, looks, and performance as the ZL1! It’s a dated car…
Truth. I would miss a lot from the ZL1. Pretty much every feature. I wonder if it even has a rear view camera
