That's a great rundown, I hate being in control of backing tracks. But at least here it's a set of metal foot switches. Not an iffy row of buttons on a tiny MIDI controller
Justin!! The legend himself. Thanks for checking out the video! You’re exactly right. Feel’s like there’s a huge gap in backing track players that don’t require a laptop setup/hefty knowledge/isn’t a simple ‘plug and play’ situation
I've checked this; it's good but kind of too expensive for a backing track player with a footswitch. I'll stick with the MacBook Pro for now until a Chinese manufacturer produces a more affordable option
Totally get it. I’m thankful that Adam was kind enough to send it to me! It falls in the category of people who are looking at the price range of the SPD-SX/SPD-SX Pro, or the old Cymatic Audio backing track players to run tracks but don’t want a full sample pad on stage. It’s amazing for what it does, though!
@@DrumElectric I think you hit the nail on the head. I run playback for a couple touring acts and have been PRAYING for this device since they discontinued the Cymatic. I have an SPD but am stuck with the 4 outputs, and can't bring myself to splurge on a Pro. Also, this is a MUCH friendlier size for artists who need to maximize gear space in the van.

JamMan stereo loop player by EHX will do similar for a lot less
Isn't that discontinued, and has only 3 outputs?
Good! I’m glad there are different options for people that need different things
