      It’s a Dmaj7sus2
      DAEAC#E tuning is basically this chord as your open chord lol.
      If you want open strings with it, you can play it in the key of G instead of A which would be x3000x (Cmaj7sus2 obviously).
      Sounds great clean, and with distortion you can get a really nice wall of just “noise” going

    Honestly I find that a lot of the drone-y open string chords give you that midwest emo sound really well. A really happy sounding major 7 chord happening at the same time as, depending on the chord, pretty dissonant open string notes that don't fit the chord but somehow work, suits the genre super well.

    As a drummer simply trying to have a grasp on the guitar for music's sake, I dont know if I am yet qualified to pick from among these chords. But I sure love trying them out. I cant quite write much without it being straight up plagiarism of your riffs so far. I'll get there tho. P.s. thanks for returning my socks. Now have you seen my aqua guitar strap? • @LetsTalkAboutMathRock
      @LetsTalkAboutMathRock  Рік тому

      Hello. Thanks for the question. I recommend trying stuff out in standard tuning first, then move to FACGCE because it's not too different from standard tuning. I recommend learning a few riffs in that tuning to get you started: Never Meant (American Football), Parachute (Covet), Crocodile (TTNG), Goodbye (toe). Hope that helps, and good luck! Happy to have you onboard.
