One thing I like about this scene, is that she didn't fire him here for using the extract, with the beating on her head, she knew she messed up, not him. She was only going to fire him after he didn't properly kill him.

What’s crazy is that Kuzco didn’t even realize that he was transforming into a llama at that point. I definitely would’ve notice myself turning into a different species. Good thing that Kronk bonked him in the head with the plate of broccoli before he even noticed.
Yzma at 1:29. "Alright, a quick cup of coffee." Yzma at 1:32. "THEN TAKE HIM OUT OF TOWN AND FINISH THE JOB!" To be honest, this part of the dinner scene use to scare me when I was a little boy.
“Big, dumb AND tone-deaf.” LoL!! One of my favorite lines in this movie!! Disney movies always have quality voice-acting. THIS one, though, is my favorite. I really believe it’s the high-point in all Disney features’ voice-acting primarily because the characters are so ATYPICAL. The protagonist is pretty unlikable; meanwhile, the ANTAGONISTS make you want to root for them. Eartha is being a slightly over-the-top version of herself, and the great thing about it is she’s perfectly happy to play a caricature of herself. This woman TRULY had a flair for comedy, and why no one else ever tried to harness it is a mystery to me. Patrick Warburton as Kronk? Well, this was the role that woke up the whole world to his ability and set the template for virtually every role he’s had since (voice or live action). Disney has had some kooky villains/henchman, but Kronk is in a class by himself. Whatever he’s asked to do, he’s gonna find a way to ENJOY himself. You can’t help but love the guy. They really did an awesome job of harnessing David Spade’s essence for the role of Kuzco: the whole disinterested, monotone, couldn’t-care-less delivery is perfect for this character. John Goodman is the quintessential Everyman; he’s got a powerful but WARM voice. Last but not least, Wendie Malick is perfect doing what she does best…skeptical, sarcastic and delivering her lines with what I imagine is a perpetually raised eyebrow and smirk.
Yzma: "Take him out of town and finish the job. NOW!" Kronk: "What about dinner?" Yzma: "Kronk, this is kind of important." Kronk as some edgey violin music plays in the background: "How about dessert?" Yzma as the haunting violin music is still playing in the background: "Well, I suppose there's time for dessert." Kronk as the errie sounding violin music ends playing in the background, and just before it cuts to Yzma: "And coffee?" Cuts to Yzma, and the scary violin music stops. Yzma as she changes hertone and voice from calm to berserk, and an even scarier note of music plays in the background: "Alright. A quick cup of coffee, THEN TAKE HIM OUT OF TOWN AND FINISH THE JOB! Cuts to an outside view of the palace as the scary music plays in the scene.
You know with how popular Emperor's New Groove is, I'm surprised diseny hasn't done a live action version yet. I'm sincerely hoping they don't but it could well be a thing that happens one day. Because money.
I said it before and ill say again Yzma @ 0:36 gives the exact the sounds i make and feel on the inside (when the crushes come around & when watching rom-coms)
Kronk DOES make a valid point about Yzma's poisons and other potions being poorly labeled. The cabinet was another example of poor labeling. Only silver lining with that is that it caused both Kuzco and Pacha to have to try the potions one-by-one to figure out which was the right one, with Yzma's ill-timed collision into the "cat potion" confirming which would return the emperor to human form.
I like how Yzma took 2 broccoli and started hitting them together and j mumbles hit him on the head and Kronk said more broccoli and then Yzma pounded her fist together and kronk got the message and snuck up to kuzco and bonk him out cold then had kronk take kuzco out of town and get rid of him
