So instead of entering the first hut you can just take a checkpoint from under the hut where the corridor would be and just restart from checkpoint to skip the idol intro. I also saw someone clip through the otherside with the rocket launcher but i dont know how to do that
They affect a lot about the guns, like the coins and battery on revolver, the charge meters on shotguns, the lights on the railcannon, the screen on the nailgun/sawgun, and timer on rocket launcher

you did a dive at 130 and just wanna say that if you let go of the slide key you get more vertical momentum (also btw there's a faster ultraboost where you switch to the mal cannon the frame you fire the core its actually easier than you might think)
in the settings menu there is a colors section where you can change many different hud elements. The color I use I think is 55 43 100 If I remember correctly, I might have flipped the 55 and 43 tho.
it's kinda easy, you need to be near slideble wall, jumo on it, do fast fall(slide button) while holding forward, and then jump away from that wall and jump again from floor

How did you change the color of the UI on the guns? (Like the coins on marksman or the charge up on piercer)

Interesting. Is there a reason you combine rockets with Mal-cannon instead of regular core ejects? You got insane distance off that first blast jump.
I found it easier to set up and you don't need precise timing to not take 50 damage
you can skip the idol room by going right under the floor in the hallway in between the idol introduction room and the maurice and cerberus room
