ABOUT : In this video, we show you how we nicely fitted an Double Din GPS navigation radio into a Ford Econoline van. It was a bit tricky but it can be done. We also ran extra preouts for the audio and video, and installed a Pyle Backup camera at the same time. We also demonstrate some of the features of the radio. At one point, all UNCUT videos were private and were for our customers only. Since we no longer have an operation, we decided to publish all the private videos (uncut) into public domain. That is where the confusion comes from, we didnt want the public to share our private (at one time) videos.
Generally, there will be 2 versions of a video. #1 version, the full install with product demonstration. Inside the first video, there will be steps we removed which we saved for the uncut version. In #2 the uncut version, we add back those steps. If you watch just the uncut version, it is outside the timeline and may not make sense, but together, it should form a complete overview of an install. Look for all the versions in our playlists
If you find value, we have multiple versions of a car and install typically, search through our playlists and videos. I have a 2007 E 250 want to install a stereo it's a double den just like the one I replacing it with bestbuy said you have to do some cutting to make it fit true are false said the factory one is really short
The back of the dash has metal or plasic, forget which needs to be removed if your radio is super deep

Not all double dins fit in these trucks height wise. I'm gonna have to cut away a little plastic

+Hector Perez You need to find the wire marked as "reverse" on your head unit and connect it to the wire that feed the reverse light bulb of your vehicle. The easy way, run a wire from your radio to the back of the vehicle and connect it to the reverse light feed wire (+).
@@efgarcia7354 The reverse light wire is the black with pink stripe in the left front kick panel where the wiring harness heads toward the back... but it is there in the vicinity of your left foot. I have the electrical book from ford if you need some scans. My user name here is my actual google name.

Depends on the stereo, some will fit right in, some are wider and you will need to trim some off around the openings.
