I have never been to a dollar tree that is as stocked and neat as yours. I’m so jealous!
The moisture eliminators are incredible; my spices were clumping up into salty boulders inside the cabinets, one of those saved them all and lasts for weeks.
I use the condiment holders for loose change. Easier to reach across and grab change rather than to look down while driving.

That foam double sided tape really is AMAZING. I used it last summer to patch a hole in my huskies kiddie pool. The water didn't phase it. Still holding!

I must say Thank You, Catherine! I had some 'sliding feet' things in my Amazon cart. I tried your suggestion of using the chopping mat and immediately removed the $15 sliders from the cart. My heavy mixer slides beautifully now for only 62 cents!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I wish we had these products at the Canadian $tree! Most of what you show here, we don't have. The US always has the best products! Thanks for sharing how awesome the store is!

Those skinny car organizers have actually lived in my car for years. You know how when you drop things, they always go right down between the seat & the console where your hand can barely fit? Well these catchers catch that stuff & you slide them forward to retrieve it. Love them!
We went on a road trip this pass week. I found a Dollar Tree that actually had peg boards!!! I can't find them at any of my local stores!!My boyfriend came up to me in the store. He was like, "Look what I found!!" Then had like 6 peg boards. He told me he looks for them every time we go to the store. I had forgotten about them. Thanks for all of your videos Kathryn. You are so wonderful!!

DT is stepping it up. They have gone down on food items, by decreasing the amount...per ounces etc. But the craft section is unbelievable. So many great items I cant get enough!
I use the flexible cutting mats for making stencils and for templates. They are the perfect thickness for cutting patterns pieces you have to draw round a lot like making multiple felt toys.
I met a man at DT who makes templates for his woodworking projects with them. I use them for crafts. They wash up great!

Another way to use the velvet belt hanger is to hang tank tops /cami's to. Gets space back in your drawers and doesn't take a lot of room in your closet. Bonus, pull the hanger out and easily grab whichever shirt you want.
Do those hangers turn/rotate on the hook?
@@SophieMia806 Not sure if I am understanding your question correctly but I do not place the shirts/cami's on a hanger. Just put the straps directly on the velvet hook.
@@martyC9578 ...Sorry, I'll try to explain it better. Does the hook part swivel/turn, like hangers from the stores, or is it in a fixed position, like the solid plastic hangers? Like, can you turn the hook, while keeping the bottom velvet part still? I hope that makes better sense. I'm not always the best at explaining things. 😊

When my cat was a kitten he used to have fun opening the sink cabinet just enough and then let it swing shut by its self making an annoying sound at night 😂 to stop him I got the Velcro command strips so it wouldn’t damage the cabinet doors since we lived at an apparent at the time. It stopped him from being able to play that late night game with him self and I could sleep peacefully at night. Got to love cats 😂🐈⬛

I love the large bags that you use the vacuum to suck the air out of! It gives me so much space in my linen closet!!! I also add a dryer sheet and when I open the bags it smells clean and fresh!!!! ❤
I also use the cutting mats under my coffee pot and my blender because it has suction cups on the bottom and it drives me crazy when I try to move it to clean the cabinet
Those suction cups are absolutely amazing- it took my store forever to get them but I have had them in my shower for months and they have never fallen.
My favorite way to use those"pencil" holders, is for my lipstick pencils on the counter in my bathroom!

Thank you for pointing out the new organizers! I’m going to have to head into my local DT and look for them. Also, the tie hanger can be used for belts too. I reorganized my husband’s belts on those hangers. Works great, but I don’t think my husband noticed 🙄

I came home the other day, the dog had wrecked the bed. Pillows on floor bedding upended. My notebook had pages torn out. It looked like it was set up for a comedy skit! I was so mad! Come to find out my hubby took a nap in the same bed, just laid down on top of it all. No, your husband did not notice your belt organization. I feel better telling you about it. Hope you laughed. Go buy yourself something. He won’t notice that either! 😘

Every spring, a friend of mine gets at least 2 dozen boxes of Peeps. She freezes them and then uses them year round in her coffee! She said one is just creamy/sweet enough. The best part, though, is watching them melt until nothing is left but the eyes! 😂

I got the small shelves to hold some extra glitter in my craft room - the velcro strips would have been SOOO much easier than lining up two nails so they were even and spacing the shelve accurately! Now I might redo them and look for the corner shelves!

Thank you for such great money saving videos. Dollar Tree has saved us so much money over the years. I really like the new higher end products they are carrying now. So many things that would normally be 50 to 80% more expensive at other stores.

I just spent a day working ONLY on my mom's top dresser drawer and didn't even get through! I used the shorter, individual, fabric organizers. Now that I've seen that newer one with three sections I can't wait to go back and see if they have it at ours! Mine is a pretty good store - I think because it doesn't have freezers, so it can focus more on content.

I keep frozen mirepoix in my freezer at all times. It is the immediate starter for any dinner recipe. Since the veggies have been frozen, they cook down so much faster and you get can get dinner on the table so much faster.
On dollar tree values though, I have to say they're the best place for gift bags and cards. Going anywhere else is just wasteful. I also wouldn't mind some of those stackable gardening pots. It would be nice to have a few fresh herbs in the window of our apartment. Nice suggestion!

The suction cups held my Christmas wreaths on every window on the front of my house! Ok so I had a problem with a few popping off -but finally they stayed! 😂 the cutting mats for under appliances I am going to try out!! Thanks for sharing your DT trip!
Oh Kathryn you are just so cute! Ok, here is what I did with the desk organizers, the ones that are pink that you placed in a drawer: I bought 4, and E6000 them together. I then used them in my teeny-tiny bathroom for my make-up. Mascara goes in one slot, lipstick in another, eyebrow tint in another, Qtips, eyelash curler, foundation, you name it! I might spray paint the entire piece this Spring.

I found a bunch of ideas about things that I already had, but apparently had forgotten all the ways to use them. Then you showed thing s that were totally new a year ago. I was in a DT right after they raised the price to $1.25 and an employee got a bit testy when I kept calling it Dollar-and-a-Quarter Tree. I call it that all the time now. :)

Dollar Stores organization and stock availability depends on two things, the area and how the manager keeps their stores. Also, unfortunately many people trash the stores by letting their kids go wild and also placing things on a completely different spot when they decide they don't want it anymore.
I always tell people to come watch your videos to save money😍😍😍
