I love using the Barbie pink bags! We are from Arkansas and just got back from Wisconsin! I used 10 bags and put everything from make-up to snacks in them!❤️your channel is my favorite!💕
My hacks I love from dollar tree are ....using the pool noodles for my aquariums ...cut rings and throw in aquarium to float ...great hiding places for fish and a good ride for the snails...I also use pool noodles when I use my diy aquarium/pond filters as well...I have a lot of aquarium hacks ...love them and money saving..
I use the glasses case to put my snack bars in so they don’t get squished in my purse. I can fit two in one case so I have something in case I’m out longer than I planned!
My favorite dollar tree hack is buying eyeshadow of different colors and adding it to my resin so I don't have to purchase pigment colors while crafting.
I cut down pool noodles to cover the legs of my metal bed frames in my guest room...can't tell you how many times I have rammed my toes into those things!!! Grandkids and guest toes are thankful😉 TFS ...great hacks here as always💕
Best hack is to use phone holder knob anywhere you need a hanger . They hold really well . I use them in shower to hold cleansing puffs. Love all your hacks!
When my children were young, I used items from DT to create Are We There Yet packages for our trips. Besides the road map I printrd out for them, which was educational, I also filled brown paper bags with various treats, games, etc. Each bag was numbered to correspond with how many hours we had left on our trip. At each hour, they got to open the bag. They always had something to look forward to, and this made the trip fun for everyone.
I did something very similar when my boys were young. My sister and I would travel together to our parents 16 hrs with her daughter and we would buy small toys, books or games to unwrap every hour while in the car. They each had their own bag to keep them in. We would rewrap them for the trip home.
@mercy2198 We frequently took road trips. I made a binder for each child, and on the cover was a map showing our route. They learned to read road signs and estimate travel time, etc. I filled the binder with printable activity sheets that pertained to the trip (mazes, word searches, coloring pages, etc.) To this day, our adult sons travel with us and look forward to whatever road trip fun Mama has planned! 😉 It's not the destination; it's the journey.
My favorite hack is to use the ice cube trays to water my plants. I add about 4 ice cubes every 4 to 5 days to my plants and they water themselves. Lol
It sounds good but I have plants on my balcony and I live in Phoenix AZ and with temps already over 110 I have to water daily but it might work for the winter months here Thanks!
I buy doggie poop bags at dollar tree and keep them in the car or camper. they are good to wrap up used diapers and menstrual pads when you throw them into the garbage. It keeps those items contained and private in the garbage.
I foster abandoned/orphaned kittens and I use the ice cube trays to freeze pedialyte. The bottle of pedialyte only has a 48 hour shelf life after it's been open and the kittens can't consume that much pedialyte in 48 hours so after I open the bottle and use it for one day I take the rest and pour it into the ice cube trays and freeze. Once they are solid I pop them out of the tray and store in a ziploc bag and when I need a couple of cubes for their formula, I take them out a couple hours before I'm going to make their formula and let them meltdown at room temperature. Another hack I do using Dollar tree doggy poop bags is I use them to put the waste from the litterbox in. In Massachusetts plastic shopping bags are banned in 98% of the cities/ towns so I can no longer use them for cleaning the litterbox but I found the doggie poop bags work just as well and I don't need to worry about any pesky holes in the plastic shopping bags
My favorite dollar tree hack: so we had a really bad wind storm a few months back that ripped the canvas right off of our gazebo 😢. We haven’t gotten around to replacing it. So I thought in the meantime I can use it to hang some old nasty vinyl blinds that we were going to replace and clean them. I used some zip ties from the. Dollar tree to attack the blinds to the bar on the gazebo. Then used some all purpose cleaner (also from the dollar tree) and the car wash mitt thingy, also from the DT to wipe it down. Then used the hose to rinse them off. Then just let them hang to try. This cleaned them so well that we didn’t have to replace them. I was able to do 4 at once using the gazebo. I think you could use the over the door hooks and hang them on the fence to. Note- we don’t typically let our blinds get so dirty, but we recently bought the house and the dirty blinds came with the house. Regular cleaning and dusting wasn’t cutting it so we were saving up to replace them. This worked so well, we can hold off and put that money elsewhere. 😊
I love ❤ most any and all of the hacks I find here! It always amazes me as to how someone has come up with them and then I'm dumbfounded 😮 as to why I never thought of it when it makes so much sense!😊 They seem so apparent.🎉
One of my favorite Dollar tree hacks is using cut up pool noodles as fill in the bottom of a flower pot. It allows drainage as well as saving you on potting soil.
Because of plastics and foam breaking down and getting in our soli, I now fill the bottom of my pots with pine cones. They condense together with the weight of the soil, so use more than you think you need. If you aren’t worried about the plastic, fill your pots with water bottles, used plastic cups etc which saves you the expense of buying pool noodles.
My favorite isn't actually a hack - but quite a money saver: My grown sons often go first to the fridge when they come to our house, looking for something to eat. My youngest (adult) son looks for something he can take to work for his supper (he works evening shift). My "good" plastic storage dishes are off limits, so I buy the small plastic containers and put a portion of leftovers in them. Jake gets a ready-made meal & I don't have to hound him about bringing back the containers.
I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. On one of my days off I make meals with leftovers and package them into individual meals. This way my boyfriend has a home cooked meal and I do too when I’m at work.
My favorite hack is using a refillable wand dish scrubber and fill it with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 dish soap to use in the bathroom shower and sink to scrub and clean the grime away.
I do that for my sinks, but I haven't done it for the shower yet. Recently I bought a few clear pitchers from the catering aisle, to store each wand. They look much nicer than the random Mason jars and coffee creamer containers I had been using for the purpose, and they have handles! I just came up with another "hack": the pitchers would probably work really well with the little toilet brush set, for those who want to store the brush in disinfectant! I never tried storing in disinfectant, because I thought that the wire bristle connectors might rust, but a little WD-40, or similar, might prevent it! I'm going to repost that one in the main discussion! I hope you're having a great morning!
My favorite hack is to cut a piece of pool noodle and place it in the back of my drawers to keep the organizers from sliding around every time I open the drawer.
You can often find wall sconces at thrift stores. I bought 2 iron ones for $5, hung them on the brick wall on my patio and topped them with Dollar Tree solar lights. That's my favorite hack!
I don’t really have DT hacks, but for Easter this year I took my grandkids to DT and told them to pick any one item of each color in the rainbow. So each of them got a red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple item! They got toys, candy, drinks, chips, flip flops, desk accessories, coloring books, craft kits, etc! We took pictures of them holding up each of their colored items, they had so much fun doing it too! FYI I have 8 grands ages 3-11, moms assisted 😉
I love using the DT cutting mats as shelf liners in my fridge. I also use them under my countertop top appliances to slide forward when they need to be used
I have two small silicone ice cube trays that are small pineapples. Each pineapple holds 1 tbsp, I measured to be sure. I will buy a bag of lemons and limes, squeeze the juice out and fill the trays until frozen, pop them into a ziplock bag and repeat until all the juice is used. I do keep them separated, mark the bag with name and date. Most recipes call for tbsp measurements so you can pop them into your recipe. They are small and melt quickly😁❤️
My favorite hack is using the plastic bags for outfits. Each day has a bag for clean and then replace with dirty. I’ve been doing it for 30 years. ❤ Mom of 5 Grammy of 1❤ so far😊
Great hacks! Our neighbors like to talk over our chain link fence that was installed upside down years before we bought our house, so we put pool noodles on the top so they can lean on it and not get poked by the fence.
I’m still watching but my favorite dollar tree hack I’ve tried recently is for travel with my littles! Grab a cookie sheet. Magnetic tiles or letters or even just magnets are great entertainment! Add a magnetic clip to it, hold a coloring page - add colors with a magnet on the box and poof! It’s all contained!
I like it too. I have an abundance of the cheapo ones that unfortunately don't fit well in my coffee maker. They flop around and are not as crisp as the more expensive Melitta filters. So now I am using Melitta for coffee and the leftover cheapos for substitute napkins, plates and the like.
My current fav DT hack, is using shower curtain rings on a hanger in my closet. Use it for scarves, ties, trucker hats, etc. I thoroughly enjoy an organized space, but it's not always in the budget to buy ALL. THE. THINGS. this way you're not breaking the bank & you still end up with a pretty, organized space. 😁💕
When my twins were young and were traveling I purchased a 3 ring binder for each girl and got the zipper pouches and filled each pouch with different items, crayons, small toys, books, etc. It was easy for them to get into the bags and for them and easy to maintain.
I make my own foam hand soap, take the empty bottle your hand soap was in And add half water and a 1/4 soap shake it and you have foam soap! I buy the big containers of hand soap and by making my own foam hand soap it last much longer and you save on money. Whitney I enjoy all your hacks! I have a big bucket that I catch rain water in, I use it too water plants and flowers...
I do that, too! It allows me to have foaming soap in the fragrance I prefer, for much less money. I usually use Dr. Bronner's Castile soap in Almond, but lemon dish washing liquid would probably be a nice choice for a powder room.
I love using Dollar Tree pool noodles to make swags for weddings and showers. The noodle is just as easy to stick florals in as Styrofoam and is way less messy. I use DT zip ties to secure my greenery vines and add my florals afterward. People always ask who the florist is that made them. When they are told I made them, they always come to me, and I give them my secret hack. 😉 I love all your diys and hacks. Keep them coming.
I recently discovered that I could slid a foam wig manican down on top of a dollar tree paper towel stand to create a wig stand. Super helpful when styling a wig!
I just shoved a skein of yarn down over an upright paper towel holder, turned a DT salad plate upside down in the bottom of a DT popcorn bucket, yarn holder sits on that and turns without untwisting the yarn as it comes off.
My favorite summertime hack is to take my leftover brewed coffee and put into ice cubes trays and freeze for making ice coffee. When they melt they don’t water down the coffee. Now that dollar tree carries the silicone iced cube trays those work awesome for this.
My favorite hack is to use the screw off handle from a Dust pan and super glue a scotch Brite to the handle. Cut scotch Brite in half and glue half sponge pointed out , half Scotch Brite pointed out. I use this to clean behind toilet, high corners above shower and anywhere I can't easily reach. More and more as I get older.
One of my favorite Dollar Tree hacks is using those storage bags they have near the cleaning section (they come in medium, large and x--large). I use the x-large size to keep my seasonal wreaths dust and bug free and store them in my shed or attic until the next holiday. They can also be hung up since they have a section at the top for hanging.
I purchased a light fixture from Habitat Restore removed the wires and light bulbs, glued Dollar Tree solar lights in place of light bulbs. Beautiful solar outdoor chandelier
Yes, I used old jars and filled with gems. I used the American flag glow sticks and used red, white and blue gems and got the glow sticks in the according color. Well for July 4th but I still left them out.
My DT hack for sending food home after a party is to let them fill aluminum pie plates with their favs then slide those plates into gal sized ziplock bags. No worries of spilled food in their car. My fav hacks from you today is the coffee filter and the frozen aloe. Oh, and the BLT dip!
My hack is making a important stuff car bag for each of our cars. I use one of the small pencil bags or cases. Put in a small notebook, pencil, pen, include your car insurance card & registration, important phone numbers, some change, disposable raincoat, small first aid kit...just emergency type things. It comes in very handy. I was driving my husband's car last week and was rear-ended, I knew exactly where all the insurance card information was. We keep these in the glove box.
Thank you because I have an old headboard from my late grandma. It's not attached to the frame and any movement leaves my walls scratched. This is genius. My mom was so happy that we have a piece of grand mommy's furniture in the family.
My favorite hack for the beach is to use the stainless steel skimmers (that are used to get fried thngs out of hot oil) to scoop up seashells without picking up a lot of sand with them.
I love the idea of freezing aloe cubes for burns - I wish I had seen this when my kids were young, but I'll definitely keep some in the freezer for me and hubby.
This is going to sound weird....but i buy preparation H cream, has to be the cream tho. It stops the burning and itch of sunburns! I was skeptical at first too but tried it and was amazed
My favorite Dollar Tree hack: I really like taking 2 skewers through several hot dog wieners. They stay put on the grill and you can flip them all at the same time 🌭
My fav DT hack is using a silicone pot holder to rest my glue gun on in case the glue drips or falls, and using a ball of clay for cricut weeding scraps
My favorite hack is to buy the large clothes storage bag which you can find in the isle where the clothes hangers are. I put one in each suitcase when I travel and use for the laundry bag. When you are ready to travel home, you seal the bag and put in your suitcase and your clean clothes remain smelling good.
My favorite hack is to take the mesh laundry bags to the beach to put the sand toys and swim shoes in. When we get back to the car we put them in a $tree dishpan to keep the car clean.
My favorite office hack is: take DT butter dish, turn upside down, fill the lid with my extra staples then put the butter plate on top ( the side that the butter goes on is upwards) then place my stapler on the top butter plate. It frees up space in my desk. since most office desk are small cubicles, you don’t have a lot of draw space so I have also used the butter dishes to organize my desk draws; rubber band, pens, highlighters, push pins etc.
I always pick up a shower curtain at DT and use them to cover my craft table or other area that I want to keep nice while doing a project. I have also used them as drop clothes when painting. Another one I do is I have a metal bed frame and often times I would get a toe caught in it when getting out of bed so I used a pool noodle that I cut length ways and covered the frame.
I like using the motion, sensitive puck lights underneath my kitchen counter and my bathroom cupboards. It’s nice to have a light turn on so I can see under the kitchen sink. I also use these lights in my dresser when I’m getting ready in the morning, and my bedroom light is off due to my sleeping husband!
My favorite hack is using the command hooks on the side of my kid’s laundry bucket and then having a laundry mesh bag attached for socks. We lose so many socks so this has been a game changer!
I am a sewer. I use the DT baby hair ties to put over my bobbins. This way the thread doesn't unwind and make a mess. I even try to coordinate the color with the color thread. Yellow hair tie with yellow threaded bobbin, etc.
I like to take the Parmesan cheese lid use it on a DT mason jar and it's a perfect fit. I place my bread crumbs and many other food items in there and it works great! I like to use the roll Styrofoam balls as a flower frog. I cut the ball in half and use a pen or paint brush handle pre poke the holes all the way through. I place the half foam ball to where it's about an inch from the rim. This will keep the flowers as you place them. Happy Summer Everyone!!! ❤️
@@barbwall3678 you buy large soft dice at the dollar store, and then you play it outside! I think they call it yardzee in the high end stores that sell something similar. It’s fun and easy to I added dice on the side of the large cup with my cricut!
I'm a huge crafter and LOVE all the DT clear storage items! One of my favorite hacks is using the DT cutting mats for dividers for my stamps, dies, papers, sticker, ephemera , anything that needs dividers for ! I cut it just slightly taller than the item and label it. And store in D T clear bins.I also love the 2.5 gallon bags...it fits 12 x 12 papers.. So it's great for putting all scrapbooking page items together to easily grab and go...perfect for any crafts to grab and go...sure makes finding specific items a lot easier!
My favorite DT hack is buying the brown paper sacks and popcorn kernels and oil and doing single serve microwave popcorn in the microwave! Customize with your favorite seasonings after cooking! Kids love it and it's budget friendly and so healthy and delicious!
My favorite summertime hack with Dollar Tree supplies is getting the largest can of shaving cream for the kids to add food coloring to so they can play "paint" and clean up is so easy.
When I was still teaching and had a child at home I loved summer but now I’m medically retired and in menopause and I hate summer here in Texas lol but definitely here for your video! Love your content!!
My favorite Dollar Tree hack is using the sectioned craft organizers for an “emergency” car kit with Tylenol, stain wipes, hair ties, bandaids, hand sanitizer, etc. Also I use the phone holders that look like fingers to hold a bag of my granddaughter’s favorite toys from the front seat headrest.
My hack is to use a tooth brush holder, the long round one. Fill with a mini first aid kit for camping. As well as to keep matches dry for fire starting.
I've done the hack with putting ice in a large bowl for serving cold foods & condiments. I had a horseshow last month and I was serving lunch. I did a taco bar and got a large bowl at Doller Tree. I filled it with ice and set the sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, & diced tomatos in it. I really like the hack you had with the containers with lids to serve chips, dip or salads and keep the bugs out. I think it will work better than my little table umbrella. You always have such great ideas.
My best summer/road trip hack is to take the little cup holder size trash cans from Dollar tree and instead of putting them in the front seat, middle console cup holders like most people think, give one to each kid to put in their cupholders! They even fit in my minivan door cupholders! They are great for personal trash cans but also do great corralling cold drinks, snack pouches, they even work 😂 to water the dog if you forgot a dog bowl!
My favorite Dollar Tree hack is just buying the reading glasses from DT. They are $1.50 there, but $20 or more from other places. We also use the aluminum pans that have lids to do freezer meals. We double recipes when cooking and put half in one of the pans, add the contents and cooking instructions to the lids, and freeze. It is so nice when you have had a busy or tiring day to have a meal ready to go. Moving it to the fridge the day before does not take as long to cook.
I use the arched mirror that resembles a window. I take the mirror out, cover with some of the new wallpaper sheets (the one with birds is my new fave). I pop the covered mirror back in and hang on the wall...turns out so cute!
Great video! My favorite DT hack is using dog collars to hang up long extension cords, garden hoses, etc and then hanging them on a hook in our garage. Keeps them organized and off the floor.
My husband is a wildland firefighter so when he leaves for a few days to help fight fires we also leave on short notice to go stay with family. We get the eye contact cases and store 1 or 2 days worth of vitamins, lotions
I use one to take my meds with me to work. Perfect size and the fit in my pocket so when it’s time to take my medicine, I just pull it out of my pocket and take them and go.
My fave DT hack is running a bungee cord through a roll of paper towels and hooking it to the back of the car headrest for road trips. I also drilled two holes near the top rim of one of the small, oval DT trash cans and I hook a DT bungee to one hole, loop it around my car headrest and hook it to the other hole for road trips under the paper towels. It’s really handy
I like using the DT hanging shoe holder that go in your closet to put in my car to corral things like cords, jumper cables, and other random things you might need in your vehicle.
My favorite hack is to buy a container at dollar tree and fill it with oven mits , pot holder and grill utensils . Add some nice sauces like A1 , BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and relish and any condiments that go good for a outdoor BBQ party. A nice flower or 2 stuck in to make it look festive. And take it to a BBQ party that I am invited to. It's a nice hostess gift. And also handy in case the people having the party had forgotten to pick up an item they needed. Thanks for the video and the contest. ♡
My favorite hack is when traveling and staying in a hotel. I keep binder clips in my suitcase for if the curtains don't close all the way. Use a binder clip to hold them together for a dark room. 😊 Get them from the dollar tree so if you forget them, they're not an expensive loss. 😌
I love the idea of using the kitchen tools at the beach! My kids like using the colanders in the bath. They’ll stick them under the water and then pull them up quickly for a cool waterfall effect 😊
I always love your hax! The binder clip, aloe ice and dog leash are genius! I love to put coloring pages in the plastic page keepers and give the kids expo markers. They can erase and color the page over and over!
You’re a genius! I use the smaller vases to hold utensils for parties. I wrap everything up in a napkin, tie it with any ribbon and put them in the vases. Nothing blows away and it’s all accessible easily. I also use taller vases for lighting. I put the glow in the dark pebbles in and add a battery operated tapered light in the middle. By nightfall the pebbles are glowing with the flickering non-flame candle. I’ve about 20 of those now! 😂 I use them in the house when not entertaining. I’ve even placed them on the small mirrors Dollar Tree sells for more reflection, I thought it may look rather gouache so I tried one out before going ham! It looked rather lovely and I can fit two vases on each one.
Those 2.5 gallon bags are the best! Ive also used gallon and quart- I love them for packing for trips- clothes, meal planning, personal hygiene items- all kept neatly together yet visible!
I love these hacks especially the aloe in the freezer, and freeze the water in the pan. I use the laundry mesh bags when we tube/kayak the river for our trash bag and the bigger laundry bag carries our watermelon in the water to keep cold so later we stop and have a cool refreshing slice. Kids and adults can't wait for watermelon beach🍉. We have named this stop.😂 Also, I squeeze lemon juice and put in ice trays. Add them to my lemonade🍋 so does not dilute it. Great when floating the river.❤🏞🛶
Great ideas! I got distracted while watching the video and couldn't figure out why you were strapping tires to your fence, then realized they were floaties!😂😂😂
Great DT hacks as usual. A few years back I bought one of the egg holders for deviled eggs and used it to put paints in for a project I was doing. That way my space wasn't taken up with all the little jars of paint. I just refilled as necessary.
GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED - Winner Is @juliamenssen4460 !!
My birthday is June 20th!❤woohoo
I love using the Barbie pink bags! We are from Arkansas and just got back from Wisconsin! I used 10 bags and put everything from make-up to snacks in them!❤️your channel is my favorite!💕
Any craft with pool noodles, the most versatile item in my opinion
I love your paper towel hacks!
Brilliant!
Awesome idea 👍
My favorite dollar tree hack is buying eyeshadow of different colors and adding it to my resin so I don't have to purchase pigment colors while crafting.
I cut down pool noodles to cover the legs of my metal bed frames in my guest room...can't tell you how many times I have rammed my toes into those things!!! Grandkids and guest toes are thankful😉 TFS ...great hacks here as always💕
This is actually genius! 😂
Brilliant! I whacked my little toe the other night and it still hurts! Definitely will do this!!
Me too ty
We do the same for my blind dog.
Our home is covered in pool noodles😊
Best hack is to use phone holder knob anywhere you need a hanger . They hold really well . I use them in shower to hold cleansing puffs. Love all your hacks!
😮 wow. Great idea 😃
I use the little flashlights in my Sunday school class for preschoolers… we sing this little light of mine and blow out the light. They love it!!
Oh my gosh, I bet that’s just adorable!! 🕯️
Such a wonderful idea
I do this too...they love it!
Great idea!
I want to be in preschool again.
When my children were young, I used items from DT to create Are We There Yet packages for our trips. Wow. This is amazing. Will pass on to my grandchildren for the great grandkids which range from 2 years to 11 years. Thanks
I did something very similar when my boys were young. My sister and I would travel together to our parents 16 hrs with her daughter and we would buy small toys, books or games to unwrap every hour while in the car. They each had their own bag to keep them in. We would rewrap them for the trip home.
DT vinyl works great as a wipable liner
@mercy2198 We frequently took road trips. I made a binder for each child, and on the cover was a map showing our route. My favorite hack is to use the ice cube trays to water my plants. I add about 4 ice cubes every 4 to 5 days to my plants and they water themselves. Lol
My freezer has a self defrost setting and the drain stopped working, so ice accumulates in the bottom. I pop it loose and use it on my plants.
This is a great hack. We do this for poinsettias as well
It sounds good but I have plants on my balcony and I live in Phoenix AZ and with temps already over 110 I have to water daily but it might work for the winter months here Thanks!
you can also place the glow in the dark braclett into a beachball and throw them in the pool great party light.
I have done that too
I buy doggie poop bags at dollar tree and keep them in the car or camper. they are good to wrap up used diapers and menstrual pads when you throw them into the garbage. It keeps those items contained and private in the garbage.
Oooo I love that idea!! Thanks for sharing!!
I love to put leftover stock and soup in ice trays for recipes, and even give a couple to our dogs in the summer!
I foster abandoned/orphaned kittens and I use the ice cube trays to freeze pedialyte.
I use them too for a variety of things. But my #1 is litter box cleaning (daily), especially since the garbage man comes once a week. 😉
I use the tray with the pebbles and water to put them inside my greenhouse cabinet to add humidity.
My favorite dollar tree hack: so we had a really bad wind storm a few months back that ripped the canvas right off of our gazebo 😢. We haven’t gotten around to replacing it. My favorite DT hack is using their solar lights in thrifted lamps and chandeliers and hang them from trees in my garden
Amazing for power outages too! Not dangerous or messy like candles, work great!
One of my favorite Dollar tree hacks is using cut up pool noodles as fill in the bottom of a flower pot. It allows drainage as well as saving you on potting soil.
🎉 thanks!!!
Wait what? And I mean that what you be I need more info now on this please and thank you!
We use the eraser sponges to take bugs off the front of our car. Works like magic. My husband is really impressed by me every once in a while!
Oh my!!!! I've got to try this. I wonder if it will work on bird poop. The birds always poop on our car.
My favorite hack is to cut a piece of pool noodle and place it in the back of my drawers to keep the organizers from sliding around every time I open the drawer.
Using the 3 section container people use for cleaning for fast food to go trays for the family. Holds fries, drinks and a sandwich neatly.
That’s a great one!! Thanks for sharing!
Oh that is so fun!
Good idea !!
I love this!
What a fun idea!
That is so much fun!
I love using the DT cutting mats as shelf liners in my fridge. I also use them under my countertop top appliances to slide forward when they need to be used
I love the using the Irish spring soap bars grated put it in the PM organza bags hang them all around the yard for fly and bug control❤
Ooo will have to try that! Thanks!
This also helps if you have trouble with mice.
The Irish Spring didn't work for us. I had heard this before too. Maybe the flies in San Antonio love Irish Spring. Lol.
Terrific idea 👍
My favorite hack is using the plastic bags for outfits. Each day has a bag for clean and then replace with dirty. I’ve been doing it for 30 years. ❤ Mom of 5 Grammy of 1❤ so far😊
Great hacks! Our neighbors like to talk over our chain link fence that was installed upside down years before we bought our house, so we put pool noodles on the top so they can lean on it and not get poked by the fence.
My favorite hack is that I use wooden clothes pins as chip clips.
I do, too! They're so inexpensive and plentiful!
Me too !
I also use clothspins to hold family pictures on chicken wire i attach to
a large empty wooden picture frame.
Me too!
My favorite hack is to use any small cosmetic bags for phone cords, emergency kit, extra cash. The list is endless 😊
I like the idea of using coffee filters instead of plates. So much less trash and so much cheaper. Win win!!
I like it too. I have an abundance of the cheapo ones that unfortunately don't fit well in my coffee maker. They flop around and are not as crisp as the more expensive Melitta filters. So now I am using Melitta for coffee and the leftover cheapos for substitute napkins, plates and the like.
I love that idea, too, but I throw mine into the compost bins, whereas I personally would not throw a coated paper plate in.
Love it!! That’s a great one!
When my twins were young and were traveling I purchased a 3 ring binder for each girl and got the zipper pouches and filled each pouch with different items, crayons, small toys, books, etc. It was easy for them to get into the bags and for them and easy to maintain.
I am absolutely trying this! We have two boys in baseball, and it seems perfect for in between games and waiting while the other one plays! Thanks!
My favorite hack is freezing water in the aluminum baking pans to use to keep snacks cold! So smart
I use the dog collars to keep extension cords organized in the garage on our wall. Cheap and heavy duty. Love it.
I live in my camper. I am going to use this trick! Thank you.
I love all your diys and hacks. Keep them coming.
I recently discovered that I could slid a foam wig manican down on top of a dollar tree paper towel stand to create a wig stand. Super helpful when styling a wig!
That seems like a savvy, inexpensive way to store them, too!
I just shoved a skein of yarn down over an upright paper towel holder, turned a DT salad plate upside down in the bottom of a DT popcorn bucket, yarn holder sits on that and turns without untwisting the yarn as it comes off.
I used the paper Tower holder and instead of putting paper towel I use it for the tissues.
That is awesome 👌 idea I'll try it.. I have so many of them lol !! 😂😂
My favorite summertime hack is to take my leftover brewed coffee and put into ice cubes trays and freeze for making ice coffee. When they melt they don’t water down the coffee. Now that dollar tree carries the silicone iced cube trays those work awesome for this.
Thank you for sharing
My favorite hack is taking a Mason jar. Putting clear gems from dollar tree in it. Adding a solar lamp. The gems make the light a littlebrighter.
Use pool noodles on back of headboards to keep walls from getting dings.
Lolol!! And why o why would the headboard be hitting the wall?? Thanks for the laugh!
Rental property!
@@ritasilvis2164 we are thinking the same thing 😂 serious earthquakes in that bed
You can also wet a towel, add aloe, fold it into a square, and freeze it in a large plastic Ziploc bag. Great for your back.😍
This is going to sound weird....but i buy preparation H cream, has to be the cream tho. It stops the burning and itch of sunburns! I was skeptical at first too but tried it and was amazed
@@kelliparker3107 My late husband taught me that hack when we first married in 1975 and my really fair skin got burned while at the beach.
My favorite Dollar Tree hack: I really like taking 2 skewers through several hot dog wieners. They stay put on the grill and you can flip them all at the same time 🌭
I do the same thing it's so much easier than flipping them one by one
My favorite dollar tree hack it i usee coconut oil on my dogs paws. In the summer they are dry. Thank you for all of the hints
My fav DT hack is using a silicone pot holder to rest my glue gun on in case the glue drips or falls, and using a ball of clay for cricut weeding scraps
I'm stealing that clay idea! Genius!
My favorite hack is to buy the large clothes storage bag which you can find in the isle where the clothes hangers are. I put one in each suitcase when I travel and use for the laundry bag. When you are ready to travel home, you seal the bag and put in your suitcase and your clean clothes remain smelling good.
I think the putting water in the lasagna pan to make an ice tray for the cold salads is still my favorite. Genius!
@whiskeyandwhit who won the sweepstakes? I looked at all the comment and never saw the “check mark”
My fave DT hack is to use a silicone make-up "spatula" to tamp down hot glue & save your fingers from getting burned. -Sarah
I love to use the pool noodles from DT to roll up my quilts while they are waiting to be quilted! Easy to store and no extra ironing!
Oh my gosh!! That is BRILLIANT!!
I am a sewer. I use the DT baby hair ties to put over my bobbins. This way the thread doesn't unwind and make a mess. I even try to coordinate the color with the color thread. Yellow hair tie with yellow threaded bobbin, etc.
I love the glow bath idea. Glo things were so expensive when my girls were younger. This is a great idea for my grandkids.
My favorite hack is to use the large solo cups and the dice in the kids section to make yard Yahtzee! My granddaughter loves it!
How do you make/use the cups w the Yahtzee pieces?
@@barbwall3678 you buy large soft dice at the dollar store, and then you play it outside! I think they call it yardzee in the high end stores that sell something similar. It’s fun and easy to I added dice on the side of the large cup with my cricut!
My favorite hack is the cupcake finger save😂
My favorite dollar tree hack is to use the sunglasses visor clip on my art desk to hold my wipe up towel.
Genius! 🎨
Great tips! 😊👍
My favorite hack is to use pool noodles to keep boots standing up straight
My favorite DT hack is buying the brown paper sacks and popcorn kernels and oil and doing single serve microwave popcorn in the microwave! Customize with your favorite seasonings after cooking! Kids love it and it's budget friendly and so healthy and delicious!
We do popcorn this way with no oil...less mess and calories.
How long do you put it in for?
I was about to say, you don’t even need oil. One less ingredient to worry about!! It’s the only way we do popcorn now!!
@@whoiamhowilive1 1/2 - 2 minutes or when it stops popping fast.
My favorite summertime hack with Dollar Tree supplies is getting the largest can of shaving cream for the kids to add food coloring to so they can play "paint" and clean up is so easy.
And an added bonus, the shaving cream also cleans the porcelain.
When I was still teaching and had a child at home I loved summer but now I’m medically retired and in menopause and I hate summer here in Texas lol but definitely here for your video! Love your content!!
My favorite Dollar Tree hack is to take the glitter vinyl and add it over cheap cardstock to make glitter cardstock in the color I want!
I use the little silicone face mask spreader for getting food out of small jars. Only use for food.
My hack is to use a tooth brush holder, the long round one. Fill with a mini first aid kit for camping. As well as to keep matches dry for fire starting.
I store a paring knife in one and keep in my lunch box!
My favorite summer hack making homemade fire starters with dryer lint or sawdust in a cardboard egg case drizzled with wax from old candles.
My DT hack was to use pool noodles cut to fit my furniture legs and then wrapped in plastic wrap to keep my furniture safe while moving 😊
The freezing water in the aluminum baking pans to use to keep snacks cold is brilliant!
My favorite Dollar Tree hack is learning the tips and tricks from UA-camrs. ❤🎉
My favorite hack is keeping several of the dog leashes in my trunk to use as bungie cord/tie downs when needed
My favorite hack is to buy a container at dollar tree and fill it with oven mits , pot holder and grill utensils . Add some nice sauces like A1 , BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and relish
and any condiments that go good for a outdoor BBQ party.
Get them from the dollar tree so if you forget them, they're not an expensive loss. 😌
I love the idea of using the kitchen tools at the beach! My kids like using the colanders in the bath. They’ll stick them under the water and then pull them up quickly for a cool waterfall effect 😊
I put my whole bottle of aloe in the fridge ❤great hacks ❤
Oh that’s genius too!!
@@Whiskeyandwhitso are your ideas!..and thank u❤
I always love your hax! The binder clip, aloe ice and dog leash are genius! I love to put coloring pages in the plastic page keepers and give the kids expo markers. They can erase and color the page over and over!
My favorite hack is use the pool noodles as protective edges on tables
And if the noodle is split lengthwise, it can hold tablecloth on.
I love using pool noodles to fill my bucket with water. Just put one end on the faucet and the other in the bucket. Turn the water on and no mess. 😊
suction products for cars = genius!
Totally! I thought I overpacked for myself but I always overpack for him too and I need help to corral the chaos 😂
I like to use the 25 pack glow sticks for my grand kids when camping. It makes them easier to keep track of at night. And they enjoy them.
