“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9
“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalm 55:22
“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.” Psalm 89:1
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Thank you for sharing! I may need to check out the writing curriculum! We're using MUS too! I LOVE that they have a DVD! Writing down all the book recs!!
What a wonderful video. I am a new secular homeschool mom. While I don't seek out religious curriculum, I have found it hard to find fun books for my son. Thank you for so many great recommendations :)
Of course! I hope you guys have a wonderful homeschool year! 🤗
Great to see your choices. Thanks for sharing! Best wishes for the new homeschool year.
Thanks so much! Hope y’all have a wonderful homeschool year as well! 🤗📚
@@CalledtoCultivate thank you!
We are using handwriting without tears too! Love these choices, thanks for sharing!
Of course; have a great school year! 🤗
We use the same handwriting and math curriculum. Have been looking into Language Lessons for a Living Education as my daughter is all done with All About Reading. (Going into 3rd grade). Thanks for sharing new ideas to look into! :)
That’s when we first started looking into a language arts curriculum too. My daughter was reading really well, but needed some more help with grammar/parts of speech. I considered The Good and the Beautiful, which seems like a nice option too, but ended up going with Language Lessons for a Living Education. For now it’s working for us. 🤗
I’ve been eyeing up the Building Writers series, but so far we’ve only used the penmanship books. 😊 Loved getting a look at his readers too!
Building Writers is very similar in format to Handwriting Without Tears. It just has more emphasis on writing vs letter formation. 😉👍🏻
What an awesome year you have planned. We used all about spelling. Such a great curriculum.
Thanks so much! Looking forward to another year. 🤗🎉
My twins will be in the 4th grade next year and I think they'd enjoy the Ranger in Time books. Thank you for mentioning them. I had not heard of them before!
All my kids enjoy them! I bet your kids will too. I believe there are 12 books in the series currently. 🤗👍🏻
This my first time watching your channel as I try to research what curriculum I will be purchasing for my soon to be 4th grade son. Your humility and kindness shows. I really enjoyed your video and look forward to seeing more. God bless you and your family, Your fellow Christian homeschool mama from California. ❤️
That’s so kind, thank you! I hope you all have a wonderful school year. 🤗
@@CalledtoCultivate Thank you so much! Likewise. ❤🙏
Looks like your little guy has a great line up for next year!! Hope you are doing well with your pregnancy!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Jamie! Feeling good so far, thank God! 🤗 Counting the weeks until we meet our baby girl. 💕
We live TGTB language arts. We love math u see. We love the math u see teaching.
The Good and the Beautiful looks like a wonderful option for language arts. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed using it for your family. We really like their typing program and multiplication music set. 🤗
My oldest will be in 4th grade next year and we are using Masterbooks for Language Arts as well. Hope yall have a great year!
Thanks Nina! Hope you guys have a great year too! 🤗🎉
If we haven't used Building Writera before what level would you recommend starting with? We have done writing in the past and have done cursive also. My 8 and 9 year olds can write a paragraph with heavy coaching from me. 😉 Thanks! I always enjoy your curriculum picks!
Thanks Crystal! I started my kindergartener with the first book in the building writers series, book “A”. The older two kids I started them at one level below their grade level. So my third grader is currently doing book “C” and my fifth grader is in book “E”. They have sample pages online, so you can gauge which level might be best for your kids. I’d rather start at a more basic level so they can really build a strong foundation. 🤗👍🏻
