Direct seeding works great too.
Yes it does. It's just a personal preference to start seeds in seedling trays 🙂
Thank you very much for watching!
After harvest, does it regrow or you put new seedlings, thank you.
Hello. It will regrow multiple times before it goes to flower.
@@Liap does the flower can be used for seedlings?
Wow nice 🌿
I've watched a lot of your videos recently after the lettuce one and i must say it's really cool but, what do you use to deal with bugs/pests?
I grow herbs that help to control pests (sage, thyme, oregano, basil, coriander, mint, rosemary) and I also grow flowers that attract ladybugs, as their larvae can destroy whole aphid raid 🙂 i try to stay away from using pesticides as much as possible, but when it’s necessary I use neem oil.
Thank you very much for watching!
@@Liap thank you
I usually shoot them with my Apache Attack Helicopter.
@@DemonSliime I'm sure that will get rid of all the pests! 🚁
@@Liap Haven’t had a single pest on my crops since buying a gaurd apache attack helicopter.
It looks so nics
Love this
I am glad you do! Thank you very much for watching!
Hi, right this had in Newborn, Russia.
Is it really worth it though? 3 plus months and you get enough for one dinner?
I didn't grow only these few plants. I grew 18 spinach plants along with same amount of leaf lettuces and 6 tatsoi plants. When put together, they gave me few harvests throughout the winter. I harvested this spinach yesterday for 4th time and it is still winter with below freezing nights.
You can grow as many plants as the space allows you to. When considered that these plants required little to no maintance, yes definitely worth it.
Give it a try, you won't regret it! 🙂👍
I had 20 plants and I always got way more than I needed as there were only 2 of us. Now, I live alone so 20 will be more than enough for me and to barter with some neighbours or even give them for free. Chard is great. I am assuming this is Chard, it looks almost like it.
@@1ntuthukozwane This is spinach.
I agree, chard is great too 🙂 I grew the golden variety last year 👍
Which variety do you like the most?
@@Liap I get the multicolor heirloom with rainbow colors and normal Swiss Chard. Looking forward to growing it again. How is the climate where you are?
@@1ntuthukozwane Multicolor chard is beautiful!
The climate here is continental climate, hardiness zone 6.
Spinach grows soo slow
