Such an inspired, compelling and unique idea for a 'fragrance suggestions' video! I rarely see 'party season/Christmas time' fragrance suggestions for people living in hot climates and I'm so glad I clicked on this. Ambre Narguile would be one I'd definitely suggest also although it's been a long time since I had an Aussie Christmas so I'm the worst person to ask as it's been so long I can't remember what fragrances people wore at that time of year, what I would smell at festive parties and in general at that time of year right up to Christmas (and in the New Year). Back in the 1990s nobody cared about the seasons and I recall that it was really an olfactory bonanza, a free-for-all-come-as-you-are type of joyful, self-assured atmosphere where people would wear whatever they liked the smell of, whatever made them feel attractive and fun. I was as engaged and eager to hear each incoming suggestion of yours as everybody else in the Northern Hemisphere! Thanks Cherie for motivating me to shove on my thinking cap and look at my collection with an entirely fresh, stimulating new perspective. Wonderful!

I pulled out Bohemian Lime from G&B last week at the start of our heat wave here in Australia and fell in love with it all over again. It's a perfect unisex for high heat summers. So cooling and refreshing.

Ok so I couldn’t find the post where I read it was coming back as something else BUT it isn’t discontinued- it’s just that you can only get it at the boutiques with the fountains (which for many people is as good as discontinued! I know I’ve never made it to a boutique) perhaps I was reading an old post that was referring to its re-release back in 2018? I didn’t think so though…anyway I guess we wait and see!

It's funny, but I have been trying not to wear a so called summer perfume I recently bought, but I am wearing it happily. It's Guerlain Embruns D' Ylang and I think it is wearing very well for winter because it is a yellow floral, but not beachy at all to my nose. oxJulia
I agree with your take on Twilly; I so wish the ginger lasted a bit longer🫚. I've never spent Xmas in a warm country; I'm partially retiring in 2024 and something like this is on my bucket list

That just does me in. 🤦♀️😂 i remember being in Bali and going to the beach for dinner (one of the big suf towns) and having that similar dining experience. Very casual; plastic tables and chairs in the sand on the beach eating lobster just caught from the sea and grilled on a big fire pit. Best memories ever. ❤❤ And thanks for reminding me to wear Lost Wonderer. I completely agree it has a lightness to it.

It must be hard for folks who move from the northern hemisphere to have all them warm Christmas spices over a very hot period. Mulled wine on a summer's night. Anyways 😂 rambling on. It’s Amber., which was recommended by the shop owner. I love it. I think you might love it as we share similar taste in perfume. Lost wonderer, this is what I brought with me to Hong Kong and London for celebrating Christmas with my family 😊

Gingembre from Molinard is a good option too. Good n gingery but light and fresh enough to wear in the heat as there's lots of citrus 💛
