Ya people can judge you and say I prefer the chin area with the full beard I wouldn't mind trying it myself tho.
Try it! I must say though that it feels weird without hair on just the chin area alone. Let me know how you like it…

I wore it for a while but I didn’t love it on me. I shaved it a number of years ago when my hair was darker and liked it better. Also Friendly.

I did muttons today and I’m still taking it in, getting used to it after a full beard. Very drafty I’m finding

I have a small bald spot that won't connect between my chop & goatee 🤔 Any help would be radical! Thanks buddy
@@paullemunyon6839 I think I would keep my chops trimmed up a bit shorter and then would grow the goatee longer and I would keep the bald spots symmetrical, left and right. (Sort of like my Layered Goatee look!)

Beautiful! I've had friendly mutton chops for many years. What trimmer do you use?
I use a Philips. Series 5000. It cuts through months long beards easily.

im 15 i had grown a beard but i shaved it and i will try to grow mutton chops when my beard has grown back

Good question… of course it depends on how long a beard I am growing. I can grow quite a full beard in about 3 weeks!
Have you ever tried the Wolverine Mutton Chops??
I’ve always wanted to, but never knew how to do it. Do you shave to the neckline for the beard or a little bit lower? I love the look so I’ll be trying it once my beard grows some more. My chin and cheeks are not so thick but I have enough to pull it off. I’ll be shaving the mustache and keeping the cool chops😊
I shave a little lower too. My long time barber used to tell me to not forget to shave my Grandpa hairs referring to the hairs that are lower than the beard outline and more on the neck!
