This was very useful, thank you! I'm knitting a bottom-up raglan cardigan and understanding the construction of it and where all the pieces fit together makes it easier.

This was just what I needed as a beginner knitter, to understand the overall construction of the patterns I’m working on! You are such a good teacher and I appreciate the level of detail and the white board diagram!

Thank you! This is so helpful. I’ve bought my first circular knit pattern. It’s a sweater, bottom up with top down sleeves. I was trying to get my head around it! It has German short rows shaping the shoulders. You’re videos are so clear, I feel I can attempt it now. I haven’t knitted for many years. I’m used to knitting separate pieces and stitching them together, so this is an adventure!

Hi Rebecca! Will you do (or did I miss) the Pressed Flowers in the round video? I think the cowl is done in the round and would appreciate any tips now that I’ve finished the shawl.

The cowl is knit flat, the hat, sleeves on the cardigan, and pullover are knit in the round. I’m not to the sleeves on my cardigan yet, so I haven’t made that video yet. I hope to soon, but it may not be until after my summer break :/

Thanks. I thought of that after I sent. I do hope to make Cardigan though I want a crew neck.

Adding button bands on might be a good next video. 🤔

That is a skill I am not as well versed at……. And more of an art form than a science, I’ve found. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

A couple of thought: 1. Use your gauge swatch (if large enough) too determine pick up ratio. 2. I believe Andrea Mowry prefers a 7 out of 10 rather than the typical 3 of 4, and 3. Go down to a needle size that matches gauge 1 to 1 (from Fair Isle Simplified).
I’m sure there are plenty of other thoughts.😂
