Youngfolks Knit is one of my favorites. Kaci is a real sweetheart and I love to listen to her talk about her life on a small farm in the Ozarks, as well as, all of her knitting and spinning she does.
I came here to comment this rec as well. Her whole vibe is everything I want for my life. The wholesome, slow living. I love watching her older episode as well
@@theknitsewcro i’ve been watching her since she started her channel and it has grown and grown. So happy that I found her. I sure wish I could knit that well 🥰
Thank you SO MUCH for these kind words!! We've been keeping up with most of the podcasts you mentioned here for a while so to be mentioned in the same list as them feels like such an honor 💛 This absolutely made our day!!
Thanks so much for your recommendations - It’s lovely to have found your podcast! ❤My favorite podcast is Finnish KnittingStories - a very creative, lovely and authentic knitter, with a soft and bohemian style 😊
My first time watching and I’m loving all the recommendations! I don’t think anyone has mentioned AKA Nora Knits. She’s been knitting about a year & a half, is fairly fearless and prolific. Nora is a very bubbly person and as a newby, I’m enjoying her journey.
I wanted to share my favorite knitting podcast: The Meaningful Stitch. I stumbled on her during the pandemic when I was learning to loom knit. She's in Scotland and has the best color theory I've ever seen, plus she has a wonderful voice and laugh that I love to listen to. Hope you'll give her a look see❤ I would also suggest Arne & Carlos. They are not only hilarious and fun to watch but have an extensive designing background and a lovely home! Super fun!
I do like CreaBea very much. She has SO much potential and will be a very big, recognized designer some day. I used to really like Andrea Mowry's podcast and much of what you say is true, but I REALLY wish she wouldn't spend so much time on spinning. I wish she'd start a separate channel for that. Or use the same channel, but really separate the content into all knitting or all spinning videos. A full EIGHT of your favorite podcasts weren't on my radar at all. And many of my favorite podcasts aren't on your list, and I think that might be a demographic thing. For example, one of my favorite podcasts is "It is a Sarah." Check it out. :)
Thank you for these suggestions, many of whom are new to me. I’d also suggest Bakery Bears…..so funny and sweet and I’ve learned a lot of British history from them.
More suggestions for you - one from Australia is Your Knitting Bestie; Nadine is the cutest thing and well organised and her eps are on the shorter side. Another one I always make time for is Danish Musings; if you are looking for more than just knitting, her discussions always give me something to think on and leave me with a sense of peace. She does eps on other things, too, such as yoga. And another recommendation for Leanne of The Knitty Stew - she is a delight. 😊
My first time watching your podcast and I really enjoyed it! I've not heard of 8 of the 11 you presented so now I am a very happy knitter. I do enjoy watching Knitting Traditions. She is Inge from Norway and is a beautiful knitter. At the very end of each episode she shows footage of the surrounding areas where she lives and it's so very gorgeous.
My all time fav is Chronicles of Yarnia. Three extremely experienced knitters. Delightful conversation with so much info about yarn and patterns and insights into knitting. Give it a go. Every other Saturday. Found them through another podcaster.
Emtothethird is one of my top 5. Funny, engaging and talented artist and yarn dyer.Wool Needles Hands always engaging my attention and she's lovely to listen to.
Adding a couple more to your list - Knitters Kniche, A Friend to Knit With, NE Knits, Beth MacDonald Stone Knitwear Designs from the Rock, Knitty Stew and Pairs Well With Knitting 🧶
Jen Geigley Knits - every Saturday! I find themost interesting podcasts are those by graphic artists, designers or other creative people. You get inspiration and they think outside of the box. Jen definitely worth finding. And Arne and Carlos - of course!!
Love your choices, familiar with some and never heard of others so that's awesome! Here are a couple of my favorites: Joji Locatelli (Knitting designer from Buenos Aires & The Crazy Sock Lady (Kay) who has also designed a few patterns on ravelry and although most of her knits are socks, she also has other fun knitting related things on her podcasts. There are a few more that are on my top ten, but these two are my most faves that I usually watch every single episode. Happy knitting!
Hi Bonnie! I hadn’t heard of any of the eleven you highlighted. I watch Tayler Earl’s Wool Needles Hands (she’s a dyer and she and her husband just started a book-y podcast called Good Books Lately) and the occasional Grocery Girls. I’ll definitely be checking out your recommendations.
Oh nice, so you have a lot of new podcast options then! I also watch Wool Needles Hands and agree that she’s amazing although I haven’t checked out her book podcast yet.
I would add: Edible Thoughts Makes (with Stephanie); Knitting a Good Yarn (with Carmen and Jackie); Piece4Peace Crafting (or is it P4P Knitting? With Michael who is very engaging and entertaining as well as talented); YoungFolk Knits (with Kaci); The Grocery Girls (with Jody and Tracie); and Earthtone Girl (with Denise). They are all people who seem like they'd be great fun to hang out and knit with. I also like that none of them market or push Patreon membership, that they focus on design, patterns, community and engagement.
I highly recommend Knitting Traditions. Inga is a very talented knitter in Norway who knits the most beautiful sweaters from rustic wools. If you like bright colours and fun patterns Jana on Finnish Knitting Stories will appeal to you.
I can't believe I didn't know about half of these, so thank you! I recommend We Grow Wild out of Italy and Knitting Traditions out of Norway. Seeing how healthy a new parent can be in a country that mandates 6 months of paid family leave is amazing. She said she became a doctor to afford her knitting.😊
Thanks for your fav Podcasts and sharing what you like about each of them. Will definitely be looking for those I am not familiar with! Just found your Podcast and looking forward to going back to check out previous episodes! Love that you are so natural - - it’s like listening to a friend.
Thank you so much! And thank you for the recommendations. Getting everybody’s favorite podcasts in the comments is definitely my favorite part of making this video 😁
Some good suggestions. It would be my dream to be in someone’s “to watch “ list! You might like some British podcasters, Tales From Cuckooland, mousiemakespodcast and Little Drops of Wonderful. Greetings from 🇬🇧
Oh my god, this absolutely made my day, thank you so much for mentioning me! Everything you said warmed my heart but none as much as your Copper shoutout 😂❤
Loved this video. I’d like to add the botanical knitter. Emily lives in Minnesota and does a great job of sharing her projects and adventures in her knitting world and also a review of plants she tends. Secondly the grocery gals out of Edmonton Alberta Canada. Sisters who share their projects and adventures in knitting. They have long pod casts but I enjoy listening while I knit.
Hard agree, her podcasts are amazing. I particularly love her mid-week rambles and learn so much from her. If I make a part two for this video she’ll be on it for sure
@@MidrinaTheSerene hmmmm, are we talking about the same channel? I’ve never heard her say that purling is scary! With all the negativity and hate going on in the world, I was hoping that knitting channels would be a respite from that but apparently not! No one is making you watch her channel. I’ve watched many knitting channels and if they don’t get my attention, I move on without leaving snarky comments.
This was a great list! I only watch 2 of these and now I have a bunch more to check out. Besides many mentioned in the comments some others I love are; A Friend to Knit With, LegacyKnitz podcast, Black sheep knitting, Summer Lee Design Co, and Stitching the High Notes.

Thanks for sharing these! I just found you and will check these out too! You might also like: Kristin Lehrer, It Is A Sarah, Youngfolk Knits, Colorado knitter, Meema Makes, Marlene knits, and Wool Needles Hands. I just started one too but I’m still getting the hang of things.
I just found your channel because this particular video popped up on my feed as something I might want to watch, and You Tube was right. Thank you so much for this, I'm always thinking that there has to be a lot of good videos that I'm missing. I also want to throw in my 2 cents on favorites! If you are a sock knitter Crazy Sock Lady is a must. Since you like the two person format check out Knits n Pieces. They do a live every Tuesday night and they are fantastic. Such a fun time getting together with the community in the chat. And the last one but my absolute favorite is NE Knits. Amy will give a review on yarn, pattern and finished garment of everything she makes. She does great in depth analysis on all of these things and has helped me make decisions on all these things. Congratulations on your channel. Definitely will be subscribing!
Working on my third Tolsta Tee (The Creabea) as I watch you. I rarely make any pattern more than once, but I have at least one more summer version that I want to make after I finish my current project. Very informative episode, I am looking forward to checking out some of your recommendations! 🙂

Thanks for adding to my list! I’ll share a few that I click on immediately too. Noble Character Crafts, The Skein Scoop, Knit Sip Happy, and The Crazy Sock Lady.
Some recommendations for you, Longer form 2 person (no editing) knitting a good yarn podcast, needles at the ready, (also live) grocery girls. Single person that are just so good, young folk knits, AKA nora knits, Penrose knits, the creabea, knitty natty and the knitty stew. and now I realize i might have to many 😂but going to check out some of these anyways...
Hi!!! I am new to watching podcasts for crochet and you popped up in my line-up watch! I am soooooooo very glad I took the time to watch your podcast and will be watching more of you as well as the other knitters you recomended! I am wondering if you help other when they run into difficulty with patterns as I am not as versed in knitting as I am in crochet. Happy knitting!!!❤❤❤ Happy 4th of July!
Check out Kate at the Last Homely House, Arne and Carlos, Jaclyn Salem, Knitting Expat, Kate at Hawthorne Cottage Craft to name a few. Arne and Carlos are knitting all the time, but the others are busy also quilting, sewing etc. It started with VLOGMAS about 4 years ago (Jaclyn’s were fantastic) and the others were highly entertaining and wonderful. You will love them.
Well hello! first video that I've seen from you and a large majority if my faves are indeed your faves. You should check out "For the Fun of Knit" and maybe "Knitting Traditions" - I see at least 3 of yours I need to check out. Thanks for this fun one!
Knitting traditions. Norway maker taught ny her grandmother. The Republic of Mexico, from cypress carribean. Spinners and knitting some crochet, beautiful. Also crochet basket tutorial-tops! It Is A Sarah from Netherlands. Quirky brave woman. Does both English and Dutch episodes! Crochet and mostly knit. Great sense of humor. I miss Woolley Witchcraft. Used to be on Utube, but I think it has been deleted now, I do believe she is on instagram and Ravelry from Scotland.
Thanks for your 10! A couple new to me! I will share 10 with you that I tune into for their new episodes as soon as released: Finish Knitting Stories, It’s a Sarah, Jen Geigley Knits, Cocktsil Hour at the Coup, Future Fiber, Edible Thoughts and Makes, Emma Robinson, Chevyrell, Camijo Knit Design, Leslie Friend. Maybe that gives you a couple new to check out too1
So glad UA-cams put you in my feed! I hadn’t heard of any of these podcasts except 2 of them! I’ve already checked out 2 of them and agree with everything you said about them! I feel the same way about some podcasters like I want to meet them so we can be friends IRL. They’d probably think that’s weird.
Grocery Girls has been recommended a lot in the comments so I think they’ve become a must watch for me 😊 I’ll be sure to check out Bakery Bears too, thanks!!
Fruity knitting, hosted by Andrea Doig and her daughter Madeleine is by far the most professional podcast IMO. They always pack so much into each podcast. Their interviews are always with really interesting and often quite famous knitters like Kaffe Fassett and Cristel Seyfarth to name but a few. They are also really experienced knitters who proudly show what they are currently working on. Check them out. XAngela
Nimble Needles is my favorite...he is the Gold standard.

I’m an obsessed knitting podcast watcher and excited to check out a few new ones to me that you’ve mentioned as well as add you to my subscriptions. I’m going to go check out your past videos and would love to invite you to check out my podcasts too. I’m a small knitwear designer and prolific knitter and love to share and chat with other knitters. Thanks again for this episode my friend. 🤗
Excellent-thx for the recommendations! I agree, it’s fun to hear about knits even when the making of them is slow. It is hand knitting after all :)
Yeah, I love seeing the time and effort projects take. It’s one of my favorite thing about knitting podcasts in general 😊
Thak you for this video, I needed new suggestions! Your podcast is so inspiring and - from one curly to another - your hair is mesmerizing! 🤩
Thank you so much!
I like the podcasts you listed. A couple new to me that I will check out. My favorites also include Young Folk Knits (Kaci makes all kinds, does spinning and seeing as well, Fruitful Hands (a mother and daughter) and the Knittystew (a stewardess)
Thanks for the recommendations! I’m looking forward to checking those out 😊
I just found you today and I’m so in tune with your content Thanks
Thanks for adding to my list! I’ll share a few that I click on immediately too. Noble Character Crafts, The Skein Scoop, Knit Sip Happy, and The Crazy Sock Lady.
I’ve never seen any of those, so thank you for adding to my list too!
Nimble needles is my favorite
Some recommendations for you, Longer form 2 person (no editing) knitting a good yarn podcast, needles at the ready, (also live) grocery girls.
Single person that are just so good, young folk knits, AKA nora knits, Penrose knits, the creabea, knitty natty and the knitty stew. and now I realize i might have to many 😂but going to check out some of these anyways...
Thanks for the recs! I really do love a long form, 2 person podcast so I’m really excited for those, but those all sound great 😊
omg such high praise thanks so much for the shout out ❤
Of course! I love your podcast 😁
Forgot NE knits and the Fruitful Hands
Well hello! first video that I've seen from you and a large majority if my faves are indeed your faves.
Ok spellcheck messed me is! Republic of Me.
Maybe that gives you a couple new to check out too1
Have you seen the Italian knitter she has so many beautiful patterns
Love Italian knitter
I’ve heard of her but haven’t watched her videos yet. I’ll be sure to check her out!
Podcasts I enjoy are: Wool Needles Hands, Knicole Knits, The Knitty Stew.
I love Wool Needles Hands but I haven’t heard of the other 2. I’ll be sure to check them out, thanks!
And don’t forget the grocery girls and , if you love woolly wool- the woolly thistle
I must add Leeann on the Knittystew UA-cam channel.
Thank you!
Grocery girls are great, Bakery Bears.

XAngela
Definitely check out Fruity Knitting
Great! Even better if you'd shown a minute or so of each podcast... it's kind of running all together (in my mind) now. :)
