Absolutely love the silence, apart from the natural noises. No music, no talking. Just dripping water, fire cracking, wood chopping etc. It really draws you in so you almost feel that you're actually there. So calming, relaxing, and great to watch at bedtime to help get to sleep. I shut my eyes and continue the adventure on my own......😴.zzzzzz.😴
@@Swedwoods hey love the videos i was wondering if you know of a back pack i can get for 100 usd that would be ok im getting more into camping and the outdoors i live in utah usa and you inspire me and what kind of axe do you use too? Thanks again!
Asking for a backpack in general is impossible. The big question is what is your preference. Type of outdoor activity? Season? Location? (Desert/mountain?) Prefered style? Age? Height? Distance, terrain Etc etc
When I consider the potential work of setting up all your shots, in addition to everything else you do in the shot... I'm grateful for all you do to bring us these... Thank you.
I can't believe its been 5 months since I found your channel, truly it has been the best 5months of my life because its when it all began for me. your videos literally induced a light bulb 💡 moment in my life and words will never be enough to express my gratitude. 1.Because of you, I appreciate a life I used to hate so much that I couldn't wait to get out of it 2. Because of you, I started living more simply and it has made a happier human being 3. Because of you , I started documentary my rural life which set the tone for my self acceptance journey Now I am Happy and I am free☀😁 You are indeed a blessing to our generation. Thank you for existing🤗💚
I get so much from your videos, bushcraft, campfires, cooking. Wonderful. I bought my son that little buck saw you used for Christmas along with a Mora knife. I’m projecting here. It’s me just 40 years too far down the road. Still enjoy my days out and cooking, but equally I enjoy the next generation exploring those moments of wonder in the wild. Keep going my friend!!
My friend you are a master of calm. I wish you nothing but ease and comfort in your journeys. I too experience this peaceful entry when I am alone in the element of the forest.
When I was living in Washington State, I was always doin this when I took my vacation from work. This is my therapy. Hiking n camping in the cascades is priceless.
Excellent. Tranquil and at ease . That’s a cool little buck saw . Ribs and bacon dog looked great until the ketchup part . Really enjoying your videos. Thanks for sharing them
Hi,I am Japanese.I always enjoyed watching your videos in japan.I really love your all videos. You are like a person who live in the story of Fantasy.Recently,I have started to go outside for camping, because I want to be a bush crafter like you. You’re my goal and HERO.Thank you for making these wonderful videos!
I admire that you have stuck to your mission. Allowing viewers to be immersed in nature and learn the skills. In early 2020, my favorite bushcrafter died and I was desperately searching for a way to fill the hole. Somethings can't be replaced, but your channel is a new treasure. Hope you are thriving in these crazy times.
Best bushcraft channel beautiful nature always full of ideas to spend time in an inventive kitchen without talking and background music please ask for more videos and cooking🌲🌲🌲👨🍳👨🍳👨🍳👍👍👍🍷
Dude! That looks like what's in my pockets too! Why didn't I think of that! Thank you for another super vid. I learn so much. I've incorporated a lot of what I see in your posts for when I hike here in the Cascades! Thanks.
I would die to eat that dog bacon 🥓 sandwich with self cooked bread 🥖! OH MY GOD ! Sir you have got some steel balls to walk and sleep there ! Those ribs 🤤🤤🤤 ! This video was phenomenal ! It was d second video for me of this channel and I AM BLOWN AWAY 🤩🤩🤩🤯🤯🤯
Brother Swede👍👍 Note to self: read description before watching video😊 When the snow falls just a few inches, it insulates the surrounding land from reflecting noise. Here in the desert southwest US, it gets deadly silent when that happens, eerily beautiful and haunting at times. Bush style hot dogs, nice. Ribs on a stick, I bet they were tasty cooked over an open fire. Fishing is like gambling, sometimes you get lucky... Great video, well done and presented as always. Thanks for the hard work to bring us along. Until next time....Enjoy!
My pocket trash would have had a random dollar bill, and yes, I probably would have burned it... Another nice video! Keep the meal ideas coming. I use a lot of them! Be well, stay safe, and have a blessed holiday season!
I have in joyed everyone of your videos they help knowing how simple a piece of mind can be. The coldest camp night I had was -15 C with a wool blanket and no fire access. You make it look comfortable.
Congratulations my friend! You have got it, you are an authentic bushman. I think. It is a pleasure enjoy the woods, in spite of the snow, the rain..... Nice yours videos, I like them. Thank you for sharing. Take care and be safe.
As always an amazing video. But hiking and setting up camp AND FILMING at night? Next level crazy! Helps to have a great headlamp. Such beautiful wilderness you have access to, love it. Can't wait for the next one.
Great videos. I always relax a lot watching your videos and enjoy the food too!!!. It's a heaven's blessing to have access to nature, it should be a human right.
Brilliant ! It never ceases to amaze me all the different food items you create out in the forest ! It doesn’t always need to be super fancy. Simple is the best, I mean that in a positive way ! Hope your well man ! Thanks 🙏
I have understod the common denominator between haters is they don't know the genre and have no interest in camping. They think everything people do in the woods is tactical this and survival that. It's time to reinvent camping IMO.
It is 1:00am where I live and still I was compelled to fry up two beef sausages after watching you roast that beautiful bacon-wrapped dog. Extremely impressed with the fire roasted bun.

Thank you for sharing your forest tour in this video. What I really enjoyed in your video, is the pure practicality, your methods are not exaggerated they are simple and useful. I really like the fact that you don't bring anything that is unnecessary except the camera, but I am obviously happy about that. In the past I was doing some bush craft too, mostly small trips and didn't really slept in the forest much. I think, it is time, to try it again. Eh, you really made me remember some nice memories.
