My Grandpa played this peace for the first time just a few weeks before he passed. I have searched for this song for over a decade. Thank you for uploading.
Thank you, Rupert Austin, for sharing your talent with us and creating these lovely arrangements that I MAY be able to learn to play without pause with enough practice. Your harmonies are delightful. What a gift!
This song sounds in Woody Allen's "Hanna and her sisters". Touching scene, beautiful and delicate piano and delicious poem by E. E. Cummings. Love this song.

Thank you very much for these written out Piano Solo arrangements! There's a high demand for it by people like me who love those tasty jazz chords, but cannot improvise from simple lead sheets at this level.
Glad you find them useful. My first love is the classical/romantic piano repertoire, and I found it very hard to play from jazz lead sheets when I first tried. With time and lots of practise I found I could translate the chord symbols into effective piano voicings much more rapidly than my early slow efforts.
This is wonderful and very generous of you. I too am classically trained and terrible at impro. These arrangements are fabulous to play and make my living room sound like a posh cocktail lounge! Thank you.
After one whole quart of brandy Like a daisy, I'm awake With no bromo-seltzer handy I don't even shake Men are not a new sensation I've done pretty well I think But this half-pint imitation Put me on the blink I'm wild again, beguiled again A simpering, whimpering child again Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I Couldn't sleep and wouldn't sleep When love came and told me, I shouldn't sleep Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I Lost my heart, but what of it He is cold I agree He can laugh, but I love it Although the laugh's on me I'll sing to him, each spring to him And long, for the day when I'll cling to him Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I He's a fool and don't I know it But a fool can have his charms I'm in love and don't I show it Like a babe in arms Love's the same old sad sensation Lately I've not slept a wink Since this half-pint imitation Put me on the blink I've sinned a lot, I'm mean a lot But I'm like sweet seventeen a lot Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I I'll sing to him, each spring to him And worship the trousers that cling to him Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I When he talks, he is seeking Words to get, off his chest Horizontally speaking, he's at his very best Vexed again, perplexed again Thank god, I can be oversexed again Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I Wise at last, my eyes at last, Are cutting you down to your size at last Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - no more Burned a lot, but learned a lot And now you are broke, so you earned a lot Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - no more Couldn't eat, was dispeptic Life was so hard to bear Now my heart's antiseptic Since you moved out of there Romance, finis. your chance, finis. Those ants that invaded my pants, finis. Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - no more
Yet antother little gem! Thank you. The improvement that I see with Rupert is that as he progressed with new tunes, he finally managed to leave out the unnecessary complexities that so many arrangers, like me, use to put in to show off their cleverness and prowess in the field. Just the song, that will do, thank you. Wonderful stuff.

Hey Rupert! Quick question, I don't see any naturals following the sharps. Do I just play the sharps and then go back to natural or are they permanently sharps throughout this piece? Thanks
Hi there. Any added sharps (or flats) apply just for the remainder of the bar in which they appear. You then play natural until you see a new sharp (or flat).
My Grandpa played this peace for the first time just a few weeks before he passed. I have searched for this song for over a decade. Thank you for uploading.
You're welcome. Hope you enjoyed it.
Lovely arrangement and performance!🎹

After one whole quart of brandy
Like a daisy, I'm awake
With no bromo-seltzer handy
I don't even shake
Men are not a new sensation
I've done pretty well I think
But this half-pint imitation
Put me on the blink
I'm wild again, beguiled again
A simpering, whimpering child again
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I
Couldn't sleep and wouldn't sleep
When love came and told me, I shouldn't sleep
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I
Lost my heart, but what of it
He is cold I agree
He can laugh, but I love it
Although the laugh's on me
I'll sing to him, each spring to him
And long, for the day when I'll cling to him
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I
He's a fool and don't I know it
But a fool can have his charms
I'm in love and don't I show it
Like a babe in arms
Love's the same old sad sensation
Lately I've not slept a wink
Since this half-pint imitation
Put me on the blink
I've sinned a lot, I'm mean a lot
But I'm like sweet seventeen a lot
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I
I'll sing to him, each spring to him
And worship the trousers that cling to him
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I
When he talks, he is seeking
Words to get, off his chest
Horizontally speaking, he's at his very best
Vexed again, perplexed again
Thank god, I can be oversexed again
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I
Wise at last, my eyes at last,
Are cutting you down to your size at last
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - no more
Burned a lot, but learned a lot
And now you are broke, so you earned a lot
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - no more
Couldn't eat, was dispeptic
Life was so hard to bear
Now my heart's antiseptic
Since you moved out of there
Romance, finis. your chance, finis.
Those ants that invaded my pants, finis.
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - no more
The original version is so much sweeter than the Ella version
"Write what you know!" they told Lorenz, and he listened.

Thank you from France
I don't know what key Sinatra sang it in. I love the Ella Fitzgerald version the best. My version is written in C.
hannah and her sisters
It's in G in the movie which i think is a pretty key for the song
Is there an exact transcription of the piano part in the original song, if so where can I get it
01:51, bar 38
Can you make an arrangement of They didn't Believe Me?

Have you ever played theming Don’t Blame Me.
No. I am not familiar with it at all.
Please do Giant Steps!

Hi there. Any added sharps (or flats) apply just for the remainder of the bar in which they appear. You then play natural until you see a new sharp (or flat).
Is very good
But for non musicians please add the line which give us the idea what are the notes played😢
Is it possible to buy this sheet music in a different key?
Why a different key? The rendition as done here tugs at my very being!
How would that sound? It can't possibly get any lovelier!

@@glennyoung1251 Because C is a very bland key for some people. Flat keys tend to be more soulful.
