Unbelievable man what a game changer! It worked like a charm and this nice hotel I'm in for the next 3 days isn't making me sweat at 72 degrees! Dropped it to 67 and worked beautifully! Thanks!

I work overnight so I sleep during the day. When I’m in bed, the unit will quit running and I’ll start getting hot. I use your hack and it works like a charm every time. I stay cool and the room doesn’t heat up just because I’m not walking around. Can’t thank you enough!
If you're just trying to overrride the sensor you still need to adjust the economy mode first. Otherwise the sensor will still be active even though you change the setting.
Unfortunately this does not work anymore. I tried it at 2 different hotels and while the first part does allow you to set the temperature to 64 the fan keeps turning off which is so annoying.
