Not one fitter in my 8 years of playing golf has ever suggested a golf ball change. And I have been to the usual places - Club Champion, True Spec, Cool Clubs. It is a sad world out here. Love the video, John!

I just did a club champion fitting and I learned i need heavier shafts but it was very rushed and I went in there for a retrofit they did not focus on improving my current clubs at all and told me if I get new shafts it’s would be the same price. This player got an incredible experience from you improving his game without thousands of dollars spent.

Your videos are great and very informative. Got fit for clubs at the major club fitter a couple years ago, was more or less happy with what I was fit into. But your videos are making me want to take the trip from Frederick, MD when I need a refresh.

Surprised the ball speed went up going from ProV1 to AVX
In full transparency, the ball speed spike was a combination of both changes and golf ball, and if I were to speculate the golf ball had more influence on launch and spin whereas the settings improved the strike point to allow greater ball speed to be achieved

Question? Are these number really possible at that ball speed? Meaning on course 70* calm conditions?
I’m regularly around 170mph ball speed with a range ball, and my monitor is putting me at mid 280 carry.
I can attest the numbers from the GC Quads are about as good as they get, what kind of launch monitor are you using. I would be a little skeptical as 170 ball speed on a quad should produce 300carry numbers pretty easily unless spin is a factor.
Both Trackman & MLM 2.
So, I was looking over data and my spin is high 2000’s, even with a positive attack angle of 2-4*
Any suggestions?
