Definitely! I had to get my p790’s lofted up 1.5° to get more spin . Great vid , great explanation 👍🏽

I’ll say 5 out of 10 fits will require some form of post fit adjustments to make them even better then the fit.

First of all, the way you explain your content is amazing! Thank you. I do have a question- I want to get fitted for new irons, hybrids, and wedges. Should I do one at a time, or all together? Or should I start with one particular say irons then wedges, then hybrids? To be honest for me affordability wise it would be easier to do them separately.

You could do them in a single day and if you did I would follow this order. Irons, wedges and the. Hybrids. This will not only allow you to figure out the correct gapping but it will also allow you to break up the full swing clubs with the wedges so it kind of gives you a little break in between.

My specs were checked and adjusted after the build while I hit each iron for loft, lie and distance and direction

I appreciate the kind words and compliments. I still consider Ian to be like the godfather of club fitting as i know I would not be where we are today if it were not for him.

I'm hitting my Ping 430 Max 10K driver a lot lower than I was in the fitting session. Also struggling with more a push block that goes dead right (Shaft is 75X Tour AD HD). Is it worth trying to increase the loft a degree to help close the face and raise the ball flight? Currently at 9 degree loft

Without question you could even max it out so get the height and direction dialed in first, and then if your finding that your getting some extra spin then play around with the height and golf ball to bring that back into check.

I have a slightly different problem. I gained about 3-4 mph of club speed (94mph 7 iron) after hip surgery and now I’ll see massive jumpers (T300). So now if I have a 210 carry shot that could be a regular 5 iron or a jumper 7 iron. Would lofting up help? I don’t seem to have the same issue with 8-PW

At that speed t200 or t150 would be a better option. Sorry to be the bear of bad news but it’s good bad news. You can officially retire those heads. And pretty sure the shafts as well.

Loving all the videos, keep them coming. I have a question though, as I've mentioned before there really isn't any fitters near me that really seem to care about making sure they get you in the right spec as much as it is to get a sell on clubs they either have an overstock on or some sort of perk for the fitter to sell. So I'm thinking of taking matters into my own hands. I already have the simulator at home, so why not invest into some fitter tools. What tools and brands do you recommend for the home/fanatic amateur fitter? Also, what information and resources would you recommend to help them use the tools suggested? Maybe some future videos!

So first off I appreciate the continued support and kind words. In regard to your question, it’s really tough to self fit and the reason does come down to the cost associated with being able to do so. If a fitter is worth his weight in gold, then they probably didn’t spare any cost when building their matrix not to mention the technology devices needed to make an informed decision. With that said the best thing you can do is to get smarter about your numbers and better understand what they are telling you as the fit progresses. This way you don’t have to rely solely on the fitters every word. Just because he says it’s good does it really mean it’s good. So you definitely have prompted a thought and I’m going to put some effort behind this and start a new series that will dive deeper into the numbers. Thanks again for the suggestion.
