I'm really hoping that the reason that they didn't include a yellow trooper and a droid transport is because they plan to have bigger dedicated sets for them in the near future.
Perhaps an AT-OT and a MTT or Droid Transport

I'm shocked how much better the new Super Battle Droids look compared to the old ones. You don't really notice the differences until they're side by side and you can tell how much more clear and pronounced all of the little details are

I really like how this review remains unbiased on controversial things like helmet holes. Tyler just states that they’re there and mentions that it may just dissuade people and moves on.

Helmet holes aren’t controversial, btw. The argument isn’t because they exist, it’s how they were done. It isn’t as if P2 clones are the first minifigs to have helmet holes.

A 327th clone makes sense on paper but in execution, it wouldve been really weird to have a clone that never even appeared along side shinies and shock troopers. The only reason they were in that original battle pack is because those were the designs they had, and the 327th looked alot simpler then.

Heads up this does fit in the corusant guard gunship! The little battle station fits perfectly in the front land the speeder and the clones can go in the back 😊

THANK YOU. I was thinking about this, wondering whether the speeder would fit or not. This is great news. Also, does the STAP build come with those clear pieces to hold it up? I know a lot of youtubers use those to prop things up but it'd obviously be awkward if it you had to hold it all the time.

According to HelloThereRex the speeder does not fit because of the stud shooters on the side hitting the internal technic supports.

@@EchoBaseplates That's great. Although the Lego website has been known to show those pieces despite them not being included, the example being one of the Republic Fighter Tank sets having those pieces that held the figures up that they forgot to edit out.

I saw the comparison that you posted, not long after I commented originally, and was surprised how small it was. It looks like the width of a normal BP but squared so the side height is the same as the width.

Minifigure selection is great. The 2 Clone builds are the weaker of the 4, but overall, very good set.

Great time to be a clone collector. Will prolly buy 2 sets so these shinies can become drivers for my vehicles and let their brothers with actual markings come out and play a bit more. Plus with the holes you can pop some mando visors or other clone visors on them and have them fill those driver looks a bit better.

Bit of a tip that isn't a brain easter egg.
In canonical lore, some Octuptarra droids when destroyed the head would explode with a deadly toxin poisonous gas that would kill everything that isn't machine of course. Aside from that, I think the 2007 Battle Pack defense post was so much better in style. If those shields were in white it would be better especially if you add them to the 2007 design.

Fantastic review Tyler, and vey glad you got one early. This is an absolutely killer set for sure. Droid builds look fantastic, Super Battle droids are amazing! The clone selection is pretty spot on really with the Coruscant Gunship on the shelves. Getting them early on will be a bit tough I would imagine but you just know this is going to be a massive selling set for Lego!

I personally would’ve loved a more in depth review, the camera felt shaky most of the time and felt like a rushed job, I get that you want a review out as quickly as you can but the quality of work really shows in this video. Great set tho and probably will get 3.

I didn’t know until an hour prior that this was even arriving today, so 100% it’s my fault for expecting it to be tomorrow and not pre planning early enough. Definitely 2/3 things i wish i mentioned here. I take full blame for this not being as good as it could. There Will however be future reviews that sadly may be a bit rushed too but hopefully not

@@HondaOhnaka sure it is good to have lots of same troops in battlepack because you need less of the same set to get same amount of figures and not everybody can afford lots of them but I think that in this specific one it would fit in and act as a almost perfect representation of 2005 battlepack(also I don't see LEGO giving us 327th clone soon if not in a remake like this) but I agree that variety is not a good thing for most battlepacks

No need to, it's just one of those must older B2 torso molds from the 2007-2009 era when B2's torso pieces were not that clean and smooth looking as they are today and that's how they just looked back then, no need to try to blame the torso to be fake or something because I know it's not, trust me, I know this from the experience.
