the new model and details for the shock trooper looks gorgeous too i'm so happy with how he looks on display beside the rest of the build and minifigures
This set is incredible but I wish Lego would add the battle droid Commander mold since the last time it was used in the 2015 set was the Naboo starfighter
1:28 Im pretty sure that one of the droids has 2 straight arms because you can swap 1 of them with the Stap droid one to have just 2 regular droids (I know there is an extra arm but you may not have it in a couple of months or years). Lego played the long game and thought about the kids down the line.

Why does everyone say the thumb tabs on the boxes are annoying? I like when they are there because you don’t have to get scissors or anything and everything you need to open the box is on the box. (If you read this, possible hot take video?)

I just like collecting boxes and keeping them in good condition because they look cool and also it’s handy to keep them if you ever plan on selling a set used because you can get more money out of it if you include the box even if it’s open

Yes I’d say if it was minifigure scale if it was based off of mygeeto/utapau but it’s clearly based off christophsis and has a blue color way and not the same color way as the one in the Utapau troopers battle pack
The new Tri Droid actually IS minifig scale; there's two sizes of Tri Droid in universe! This is in scale with the smaller one! Sort of like Spider Droids, except the smaller Tri Droid is the exact same design just smaller. Easy mistake to make! So this means the Tri Droid itself is good for army building, which makes this set ten times better to me. I would have preferred a new Hailfire Tank Droid along with maybe a Crab, but this Tri Droid still works for armies in mass.

Compare other $30 battle packs like the Jedi barris swamp speeder and this one just destroys it which is crazy because of inflation. Really goes to show how bad the price was on that older battle pack

Hot take: The new plain phase 2 helmets look bad with the grey cheeks and large mouth piece which is especially noticeable at the ends. A simple printed gloss on the visor would have helped to distract from these issues. The helmet is not as criticized as the speeder because everyone is too busy complaining about helmet holes while appreciating the rest of the armor which looks incredible.

I wish they didn't had the helmet holes it messes the prints and look weird ngl the plain ones look good even with them but i just dont like them they look stupid and lego can easily fix the issues with just lowering them to the right place and just make a new mold for the visor that stays via force on the clone like come on we pay for premium products and a grandpa in Instagram makes better figures ( grandpa clone customs )
Lego are lazy and uses the same mold that they used for commander cody in the 2022 At-Te. Thats also why the 212th clones printing got messed up in that one, because that helmet mold doesnt fit them and neither these clones, but lego refuses to make a separate mold
I'd rather have droid arm parts than clone helmet accessories considering all the other recent battle pscks that have helmet accessories. Reminder that this set is only $30!!
I don't like the helmet design of the clones. The droid looks good. speeders and barricade too. The price is quite reasonable. I can recommend this set for playing for children, but personally I would not spend money on this set, but buy something more interesting.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great set, but I kinda wish LEGO fixed the B2 droid. They still have that suicide hip that breaks into atoms after the droid bends over 2 degrees :(
