I think this is, hands, down, the best animatic I have ever seen. The choice of clip, the body movement, facial expressions and angles all portrayed so much in a very minimalist style. I'm impressed and inspired. Well done

- Mumbo talking to the camera like a reality show confessional
- Perfect marriage of artstyle and Grian's comic timing
- Mumbo winking in Grian's phone contacts
- Grian shaking his fist at Mumbo's base is just such a good shot, as is the shovel appearing in the foreground when he decides to bury everything
- Cuter style when Grian's imagining buying the goods for his own stock
- Lovely dapper Mumbo in general
- Different styles of wings/phones
- Grian's red eyes of evil plotting

- the fantasy sofa-vandalism scenes are SO GOOD
- Grian's jazz hands and "shocked" face after he drops the lava
- Grian's "mildly impressed" face is SENDING me, I love it so much

I absolutely adore this! I love the contrast in colors especially when it switches to a different day or a different POV and the background color changes!

I love this so much. The Cheapslate saga had been one of the funniest moments of Season 8 and deserved an animation of its own, and the fact that it's this long and decently made is great.
I love how this cuts together the segments into one episode and visually tells the story with expressions.
These two are brothers no one can tell me otherwise
