Hi Diamond, I am a white girl and I just wanted to say that your skin colour looks sooo beautiful! Also with the brown tone in your hair it looks even more beautiful! I am stunned!! Much love from Germany! :)
I'm an Afro-American who did Ancestry DNA and I'm estimated to be 92% Sub-Saharan African (8% European)! My mom is 96% Sub-Saharan African (58% Nigerian)! West and Central African gang!

Your voice is so pretty, it took me completely off guard. Also you have a very high amount of indigenous dna in comparison to your European dna, which is really uncommon. Like you legitimately might have Native American second cousins because of how recent it was! Congrats on your results!!
I am anticipating on making a purchase with 23 and me. That's very rare for your age group to have such a high percentage of African blood in America. Congratulations on your results.
I’m 91% African, 47% Igbo of the African dna, the rest of the African is mixed African. I’m literally half Igbo!! From Nigeria. 6.8 Euro and 2.1 Native/Asian. They need to stop saying most African Americans are at least 25% European. Not true. You’re lucky she’s a first cousin with a Nigerian name. I love your results. Welcome to the diaspora 90% plus club lmao
Hello! Is it possible to do a screen shot of your timeline. It would be interesting to see their estimate of when your most recent Native American appeared.
Well it’s less than 5% of me so I didn’t spend a lot of time on talking about it but trust, I acknowledged all parts of me in the video 🥰 I’m very happy about all parts of me.
It's now 2024: Has 23&Me given you any amended updates? I ask because Ancestry DNA periodically updates test results & other findings (which can be a mix of interesting & frustrating).
Yea I can't begin to tell you the horrors our grandmothers went through at the hands of the Europeans and how all of them got away woth their heinous crimes against our grandmothers, their daughters, sons, and even men. It's hard to hear, but it is true! And there's way more too, but yes we must learn our history and theirs!

I believe 23andme is the best of the companies for ethnicity and the most accurate. You never mentioned what percentage East Asian & Indigenous you are?
I thought since I provided the screenshot, I didn’t have to. My list of everything I am was still up on screen so I cut alot of my ramblings about my ancestry from the video. Although 3.4% is not a lot, I wasn’t as shocked about it bc my great grandmother was part Native American!! -Still very cool just didn’t kept it in the video :)
@@diahm I thought 3.4% is what I saw but wasn't sure, are you kidding 3.4% is a lot for an US American to have Native American, most Americans are going to show up with less than 1% Native American weather black or white, you have the second highest percentage I'v seen on these videos,, there once was this guy who had around 20% Native American he's African American also, extremely unusual but it's because his grandparents were 100% Cherokee and he's a member of the Cherokee Nation, I also have Cherokee ancestry but my percentage is a little lower than yours and I have cousin matches who are members of the Cherokee Nation. Have you ever found any Native American matches and do you know what tribe your grandmother was from?
Oh wow, you’re kidding!!? If I knew how significant that was I would’ve talked more about it!! My great grandmother was either from the Shawnee tribe or is Cherokee. Unfortunately I’m not sure but I’m definitely doing more digging to find out! I didn’t get connected with any Native American relatives but hopefully ancestry.com will help connect me to them.
I have cousins (3rd and 4th) with 60 to 70% Native and 40 to 70% African. I showed West African, North African ( Egypt) Arabian/Levant ( western Asia) my closest cousin ( her dad is my uncle) showed more African and East Asian ( not from her mom because her mother took a test and showed all European) my mom was also 100% European.. Anyway, she showed Congo/Angolan and a few others.. so it's in my line as well. Sooo, they all trace back to the Carolinas and the South in general..but, what in the world?? Who am I, 😆

@@diahm Yes that percentage of Native American is significant and pretty uncommon for most African Americans. It might be more common for Gullah/Geechee people. Are you from those communities? Anyway, I also wanted to say you're beautiful, respectfully.
@@MrJovon321 yes she is amazingly pretty. From what I've seen Gullah Geechee are not expected to necessarily have more Native than other AA groups. This is because the earlier the European contact the more deaths from disease and conflicts. Many people were killed and even shipped to the Caribbean early on. You had groups who joined less effected nations as refugees and those who got absorbed by Africans
