How can I use this EV, when Im driving typically 600Km/day, in my job? I dont always have the opprtunity to charge at the hotels, and I cant charge during the day - as I dont have the time. I often drive in Norhern Scandinavia, were its bitterly cold. How can I get enough range, under those conditions? I dont mind the EVs, but how it will function in real life for many people (- and especially with Volvo drivers like me), covering long distances in harsh conditions. I will stick with my V60 petrol, for as long as possible....

On longer trips, you may charge the car using fast-charging DC stations. At a 150 kW DC charging station, you can charge the battery from zero to around 80 per cent in approximately 40 minutes (or around 80-100 km range in 10 minutes). Countries and infrastructures are transitioning alongside the car industry to enable all people to live with fully electric cars, but we are not quite there yet. We need clear direction and support from governments to facilitate the transition to zero emission mobility, including the rapid expansion of charging infrastructure.

Adorable ad too :-) Wonder what today's kids would think of VHS players (or betamax!) 8 track cartridges (or audio cassettes) or even TVs with those huge valves in the back that had to be replaced every now and again :-)

Guys, my V50 diesel is 367kkm and still runs fine. Theres literally ZERO charging stations within 30km where I live. The whole point of owning a Volvo is to be able to always (reliably) run it during family emergency etc. Imagine your wife gives birth and you have 12% of battery.

Battery will deteriorates from days to days. I will got stress if battery health went aging from 100% to 0%. Just like an iphone zzzzz.
