After all the talk between Volvo's ad and Jaguar's ad I'll be looking at an XC90 tomorrow at the dealership with intent to purchase. I've never thought of purchasing a Volvo but the ad moved me to tears as a mom of little ones. After researching safety ratings, being wowed by the air purifier as my little ones have asthma, and reviews being done by car enthusiasts, I'm ready to buy one. Bravo Volvo, this is the way you do it. I'm excited to hopefully be apart of the Volvo family.
This is such a beautiful car that I'm in love with it from day it was first introduced. When I first sat inside, it was so comfortable, smooth drive and felt very spacious. Thank you Volvo team for making this amazing piece of Art❤

I really wish this grille design was also on the EX90 it could have a black backing rather than letting air through. The grille just looks so good. A great example is the Cadillac Lyriq. Imagine an New XC90 style grille, inspired by the backlit grille of the Cadillac Lyriq... absolutely magical.♥️
2-Volvo owner here, City Safety saved me from at least 3 crashes. I like how Volvo doesn't exaggerate the work and consideration they put into designing the cars, from materials to intelligence. They deliver what's advertised and more, not the cars with crippled functions you see a lot nowadays

I have been waiting to buy my first car since I was a teenager. Always postponed it for necessities. So in love with this car. Its beautiful and its safety feature is what I care about the most now that I have a family I want to ensure are safe. Hopefully if all goes well and nothing else demands monetary attention, I WILL buy it…one day.
Such a humble *in your face moment*, brilliant launch. The core is kept & just adapted to today's modernism, I love it. I love the thought process of still including the roots from Sweden in the seats, the Orrefors glass gearstick is still there and probably even more parts. I look forwards to test-drive it some day.
Love the changes - classic and timeless, modern and fresh. Our XC90 Inscription in Magic Blue and Amber Nappa is still perfect for us and our 2 Giant Schnauzers. When it's time, I hope these changes will have extended to the V90CC. Can't wait to see Mulberry! 🇸🇪 💛 ✨️ ✨️ ✨️
@VolvoCars Probably the updates to the front and dash, especially the ambient lighting. Screen looks so much brighter, cleaner and easier to navigate. The new color, Mulberry, and the fresh new wheels. The herringbone seats in navy look fantastic! Are they available with the massage function?
I sure hope the new XC60 will also include the ambient lighting the XC90 has as well as keep the cigarette lighter outlet where the current XC60 is located. Oh and please increase the battery size to be able to run at least 50 miles on pure electric.
Just put in the order for my new XC90 T8 as company car. Looking forward to the B&W sound system on long drives. Always been a car hifi geek and this clearly stands out in the OEM systems available from all brands today.
@@VolvoCars I have gone for Denim Blue exterior with bright trim and the hering bone interior. I will stretch the B&W system to its max as I have a very wide music taste. Anything from some good 90s dance floor beats to finer vocals such as The Smiths or Marc Almond right across to pop tunes such as ABS and Simply Red
This is a beautiful vehicle, true to that classic and simple design Volvo is known for. I have only purchased the XC60 and don't need anything larger but will have to say, this model of the XC90 is very tempting. I can only hope the XC60 is updated in a similar fashion soon.

Would be cool to see a car model that offers “no screen” as an option for the dashboard. I’d pay more for that. I’d rather not have an iPad in the dash, I just need a small screen to use maps and display the speed, and that could easily fit behind the steering wheel.

The 2016/2017 XC90 T8's battery pack is constructed as a single unit. If one cell fails, the entire battery pack must be replaced-this is particularly problematic considering that a typical battery pack consists of 20 to 40 cells. For the 2018 and newer models, Volvo redesigned the battery pack to allow for the replacement of individual cells. This means that if a single cell fails, only that specific cell needs to be replaced, rather than the entire pack. The cost? Approximately 1/30th of the $10,000 price tag for a full replacement, amounting to just a few hundred dollars-a far more reasonable expense. Unfortunately, due to the design flaws of the 2016/2017 models, the battery pack can only be replaced as a whole. This issue is explicitly addressed in Volvo's technical bulletin TJ 34295.7.1.

Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video I am after a 7 seater ended up with the 2025 mitsubishi outlander phev nothing compares to this luxury sport utility vehicle however I have hud and the front lights have a build in washer very handy
such a pitty u no longer make diesel engines. xc90 t8 on motorway @160km/h burns 15+ l/100 km. My S90 D5 in the same conditions consume half of that. but diesels are less eco, right?

Few questions - I own one of last one b5 xc90 my2004, will this sw come to this model as well? - in new xc90, can we see oil temp and tire pressure finally? - missing lot a features I was used to from bmw/mercedes, like tilt only one mirror when R selected or start mirror heating separately from read window heating - what I'm missing a lot is to create a schedule for clima (as we own ex30 as well, so based on shifts I'd like to setup my car per days in a week to be preconditioned) - when there's no front passenger, why seat heating is not turning off in a bit, when automatically started due to weather constraints? - there's a lot more but... thanks!

And please, fix your consumption/range calculator, as it displays random numbers (range km), for example - full tank, it says 750km, drove 120km, it says 1140km, after some parking time it says 640km, back home - again on 700km. maybe - would be great to have sort of poll/open forum, to discuss and listen, really listen to customers, what are their struggle, what are they missing - as it's all software and easy to implement, as no hw changes are needed. That would really differ Volvo from other brands (almost torn apart from the reality)

In an emergency situation, how do you break out of the car if you have laminated windows and the doors don’t work?
nice. Few questions
- I own one of last one b5 xc90 my2004, will this sw come to this model as well?
- in new xc90, can we see oil temp and tire pressure finally?
- missing lot a features I was used to from bmw/mercedes, like tilt only one mirror when R selected or start mirror heating separately from read window heating
- what I'm missing a lot is to create a schedule for clima (as we own ex30 as well, so based on shifts I'd like to setup my car per days in a week to be preconditioned)
- when there's no front passenger, why seat heating is not turning off in a bit, when automatically started due to weather constraints?
- there's a lot more but...

Hi there, this software will be available for all vehicles with the Google infotainment system.
We don't have any information to share in regards to the oil temperature or tyre pressure - but will pass this on as feedback.

@@VolvoCars Thanks for the reply. And please, fix your consumption/range calculator, as it displays random numbers (range km), for example - full tank, it says 750km, drove 120km, it says 1140km, after some parking time it says 640km, back home - again on 700km.
maybe - would be great to have sort of poll/open forum, to discuss and listen, really listen to customers, what are their struggle, what are they missing - as it's all software and easy to implement, as no hw changes are needed. That would really differ Volvo from other brands (almost torn apart from the reality)
