Will be interesting. The major hurdle is still a lack of a charging network like Telsa has, not that many Telsa drivers use them but knowing they are there means using your E car like a gas car.
They'll have IONITY (www.ionity.eu/ionity-en.html), won't be limited to just Porsche either
VW are installing 2000 350 KW chargers across the USA. Considering VW own Porsche, one can assume they will be compatible. And I doubt the UN, EU and hopefully US gov will allow non compatible chargers, it could be a life or death situation. What if you are rushing a pregnant woman to hospital and need to top up? What if the ambulance needs to top up? And so on. Cannot be hunting around for a compatible charger, they ALL need to use the same connectors, safety electronics and protocols.
Think USB-C / Thunderbolt, but for EVs!
They wouldn't do this but Elon Musk has stated that other companies can use Tesla chargers if they pay for the energy.
Porsche is investing in very fast charge stations that will give 85% or so of charge in 15 mins. It is the only way to make electric cars viable versus novelty items for play.

@@drazenbudis7881 Well if you look at the air quality around highways & cities the air quality is "moderate" to "below moderate" since there is an increase in PM, gasoline-powered cars are obviously to blame, replacing with electric cars will make the air safer in these areas.

The only thing I could think about while watching this video was Tesla. Without that company pushing forward the electric car movement, I doubt companies like Porsche would be producing an electric car like this. Tesla wasn't the first to do it, but they were the first to do it well. Whatever happens to the company long term, I will always appreciate their contribution to the progress of humanity.

"Mission E" steps out of all other models. it was that Porsche has the mission to go electric with some of their cars but no they went for Taycan which sounds super boring and like any other car model.

Shows the industry’s confidence in electric cars and finally puts them in the main stream, so Tesla is no more ‘that odd electric car company’ (which they most definitely were when I bought the stock in 2011). Looking forward to see how quickly we can change a 0.1% global e-car market to a 50% e-car market (the transition to 50% smartphones took around 4 years).

Guck dir mal den Bmw i3 an 40.000€ und 300 Kilometer Reichweite, bestenfalls. Mini Kleinwagen auch noch. muss ich noch was sagen?

The audio is very poorly mixed for a brand like Porsche. Let me explain why:
Firstly, the voice is heavily sidechained with the melody, creating a pumping effect that obscures the beautiful piano melody. (0:23, 0:37)
Secondly, the voice urgently needs a de-esser; there's a lot of crispiness in the consonants, making the sound very unpleasant. (0:21)
Thirdly, the hit after the riser lacks impact and doesn't sound cinematic. (0:50) It sounds very weak.
It's a good ad with excellent vocals, but I believe that, considering the brand it represents, it would benefit from better audio quality. That's just my humble opinion.
