Touched up the video from concert DVD & paired it w/ remastered audio from a lossless source.
This is easily the Best live version of "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath. The sound is amazing, The drummer beat is faster and of course, Ozzy's voice is awesome here.
I like this version but I really like the top of the pops version
Easily the best version by far
Top of the pops beats it, ozzy was so nervous on top of the pops, he gave 150%.
Well yes, ozzy is in peak performance because he hasnt had 20+ heroin abuse done on his body yet
@@Bruh..669 we all know that you don’t have to be Mr. smarty-pants

@@MayKelvin0806 Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well
I would say Jimmy Hendrix was the start of metal but yeah I get your point.
@Yeet Feet it’s almost universally agreed that sabbath was the first metal band. Of course there were previous influences, such as Hendrix, but sabbath was the first unarguable metal band.
@@Jobvdschouw leave people alone with their enthusiasm, this is called positivity. Birth of Metal, yes it is !!.
This was so fucking heavy for 1970
I know right
It's fucking heavy for 2021
This was just 11 years after 1959 too

All 4 of them are just at a 10/10 here. The crowd definitely never forgot this show.

Ozzie givin it 110%
or regain their hearing 📢🎶
Anyone who says Ozzy can’t sing has literally no idea what they’re talking about.
It's ironic that some people say that because Ozzy's vocals were very unique and original for their time. They helped pave the way for all kinds of singers in metal, punk, alternative rock, etc. He is one of a kind.
This is a legend
tbh I haven't seen anybody who says that
Zoomers be like: wHeRes tHe aUtOtuNe.
My art teacher said that a few weeks ago so the next class I came in wearing an Ozzy shirt 😂😂😂
Hard to believe this song was hastily wrote to fill space on the album. So iconic.
People still have no concept of just how goddamn cutting edge this was in 1970.
explain?
@@markjones3213 no one else was this heavy

they sound better live than on the record, I wish I able to attend a concert like this
If the group is good, their live shows will be better than their records.
Apparently they suck live in the late 70s
speed x1.25 even x1.50. If any of you cover them play at that speed pls it's fun
@@whitenoise0065
x1.25 speed = closer to heavy metal

The energy he attacks the first vocal line with is chilling!
who ever mixed this for digital world is a guinnnesse
Genius**
Underrated comment. Soooheavy, yet still sharp and tight. Perfect.
No a guinness beer.
This performance in Paris in full is easily up there with the best performances of all time of any band in history!
Agree 100%--they were astonishing here--brilliant!!
At their absolute peak. Before all the drug abuse started their decline.
Jesus fucking Christ, Ozzy was absolutely marvelous
no gimmicks. no autotune, no nothing but just talented 4 men creating something back then
And a whole lot of amphetamines and Coke
yeah. kind of like watching a Cream live concert. No fakery. A little sustain and fuzz here and there, but just perfect timing
true
This is the birth of heavy metal!
So much energy..
Awesome...
hes also full of drugs:)

This is so ahead of his time
Or ppl today that don't listen to rock metal or gothic music are 50years backwards 😂😂
So much better than the studio version
The live version is better IMO because it’s more raw and ozzy sounds more angry
The f’ing energy off the band is intense, must have been amazing to be there.
Ozzy with those young pipes, nothing better
One of the greatest performances ever!
Lyrics: _i want to die_

I love that they were probably drunk while doing this but still were able to sound really friggin' good
Amigo, ellos están más duros que una pared.
Están duros como el pan de ayer, se comieron un Berlini y no les hizo nadi.
Drunk? Most likely coked the fuck out 😂
This band came was ahead of its time. People were still dancing like they were at a frank Sinatra or Beatles concert. This guy is a God. Period.

The grit on Oz's voice is fantastic

Bro we need to keep recommending it to them this version blew me away it's better than the studio
People saying this is the best version of paranoid. This is the best live performance of any music ever.
One of the best performances ever.
Tony with that sinister, dark, soul-piercing riff - been giving me goosebumps for over 50 years.
This is one of the craziest live performance... Energy is Ozzying ! 😍 Black Sabbath paranoid headbang 🤟
Amen it's a load of horse shit now

Just barely out of the 1960’s and this is one of the heaviest live performances I’ve seen. These days I think heavy metal bands are too focused on trying to out heavy each other, with the growls and the fast tempos and the edgy lyrics.
But I tell you, if these metal heads could time travel back then, they would see this stuff is just as heavy, because everyone is going wild.
Listen to cannibal corpse
@@coolcloroxman1475I actually don’t like Cannibal Corpse… 😅 This song is way heavier than their stuff in my opinion. But that’s just me. I do LOVE death metal. But I’m picky with it. I prefer bands like Opeth and Edge of Sanity and Death.
@@billymccall5969 Fair i fw opeth
My god what a performance
That was freaking fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go Ozzy
Ozzy sings better here than in the album record! Incredible!!
It’s mad how throughout all those years of singing professionally coupled with every drug under the sun Ozzy still sounds as good today as he did then.

This is better than the record! I love the little bit of distortion Ozzy adds once in a while. The guitar sounds heavier. The bass is more pronounced. The drums are SOLID

Black Sabbath modo Dios, madre mía que talento Ozzy
I should have watched this sooner. I’ve been struggling to play this on bass for a while now.
This video doesn’t make it easier but it makes me understand why it’s so difficult for a beginner. 😮😂
Well, this live version is better than the album version :)
Estamos hablando de hace 52 años y la fuerza en la interpretación adelanta por lo menos 15 años...
Man, so cool to see Ozzy in his prime, full of energy. True prince of darkness being unleashed.
Damn Ozzy was absolutely rocking
It would have be amazing if Ozzy said at the end of the song "I guess you guys, aren't ready for that yet but your kids are gonna love it"
Ozzy was 22 in this performance. I’m 22.. hard to imagine
I loved them in my youth, and drove my parents up the wall insane with the loud noise. In hind sight they were truly mad and their music insane, but still think it is insanely good and still love their music .... :)
This live performance is bad ass! All hail sabbath🤘🏻
This is timeless perfection
50 years later and this song is still great!!
SO fucking good

Ufffaaas maestro Ozzy en los 70's simplemente arte
Insane performance
Fantastic
Just a master piece of rock ozzy’s voice never fails immoi’s screaming guitar and that all conquering bass line of geezer butler with the frantic beat of the drums of bill ward just blows you away probably the most iconic metal track ever.
God this is better than the studio version
Hands down lads. This is real music
The sound here is amazingly raw and powerful. One of the greatest performances of all time
this guys fked the 70s back to the 60s and rewind it ... xD Insane !

People need to watch this video if they don’t understand who ozzy is. What a band
I put this song as ring on my cell. Awesome.
This is the only version of this song I will acknowledge. You can't tell me any other version exists. 😎
Esta es la mejor versión de su mejor canción.
Dios mío, qué joven es Ozzy en 1970. ¡Siempre he dicho que esta es la canción más loca que he escuchado!
This is the greatest thing of all time. No holds barred!
Love this band. Killer song. 🤘🏻
Finished with my woman 'cause
She couldn't help me with my mind
People think I'm insane because
I am frowning all the time
All day long I think of things
But nothing seems to satisfy
Think I'll lose my mind
If I don't find something to pacify
Can you help me
Occupy my brain?
Oh yeah
I need someone to show me
The things in life that I can't find
I can't see the things that make
True happiness, I must be blind
Make a joke and I will sigh
And you will laugh and I will cry
Happiness I cannot feel
And love to me is so unreal
And so as you hear these words
Telling you now of my state
I tell you to enjoy life
I wish I could but it's too late
The lyrics of Black Sabbath are true poetry, nothing compares
black sabbath and led zepplin, crank to max!
