For most of us, having a home is a given. But when life delivers unforeseen challenges, the luxury of shelter can suddenly slip away. This is the story of Maria, a working woman who experienced a cascading series of events that left her homeless. Her story is a pertinent reminder that homelessness can happen to anyone, and that we must embrace our common thread of humanity as we strive to overcome the structural failures that allow our most vulnerable citizens to suffer such decline.
