The master custom wide body makers from @CrucibleCoachworks came up to Idaho to help us build the concept vehicle. Thanks to @RockstarGarage for helping us find these beautiful 46x20 Micky Thompson's. At the end of the day we ended up with an amazing snow, crawler and an unstoppable, off-road monster truck. Okay half of me wants to see these guys in a new shop because it would make there lifes so much easier but the other half loves that all this cool stuff comes from a small kinda ruff shop!
They are building a massive shop currently.
@@HandTightGarage how do you know that?
I get that. The small shop says anyone can do this and the big shop says these guys are frickin pro. Limitations help foster creativity.
@@swissroll71 because they just had a video of it up. Lol
@@archie9636 what video? i watch all their stuff so I wanna know what video you're talking about.
they've been building the next shop for 1year+ now and all they have done is dig out some dirt.
Wow thank you guys for the massive support on this video! After everything went wrong, we were worried that our work would go to waste and we couldn’t tell a good story out of the situation. Thank you so much for the positive feedback it really makes the hundreds and hundreds of ours put into this video all worth it. You guys are the best!
You give e so much by showing you can go so long with a small schack shop. Love you :)
Brilliant vid', good fun‼The whole build story just pivoted hard and finished with a new happy ending! I'm absolutely stoked to find out what comes next! Keep doing what you do 👍‼
please contact me through my listed email account (YT about page) if ya'll interested in getting rid of the old Mercedes engine...
you guys rock and many blessings , SMR
You guys should grasp this opportunity to use your presence and make a statement regarding the "cancellation". Grab the man sack and put you foot down, make your position known. You have enough momentum you dont have to worry about catering or sugar coating.
@@cjm5002 Who was it, exactly?
Ethan is undoubtedly one of the best fabricators on UA-cam. His skills far surpass that itself. The guy is very skilled. The first episode I watched about 3 years ago instantly made me a fan. The production quality has always been great as the music they intertwine into the presentation. 👏 You guys are fantastic.
11 starz 4 skillz
I have watched GHPC since they first started out on UA-cam. and I have said the same thing, that Ethan's fabricating skills the best on UA-cam. probably the next closest person would have be Chris at Rather be welding? he also has massive fabricating skills. and we can't forget Edwin's editing, production, and drone operating skills. it what makes GHPC the great channel they are without a doubt.
@@musicauthority9939 Absolutelly this is great content with great camera work, montage and music!
Anyone else just wanna know who they were building the car for 😂 I could watch these guys all day
Yes, whom do they support "canceling"? What did they do?
Yeah I came to the comments to find out
Same
Yeah like wtf who was it!!!! Got to be someone like kanye cos he’s been cancelled from everything
wouldn't hurt to tell us right, they've already been canceled...
THE PRODUCTION VALUE HAS SKY ROCKETED LATELY, im so proud of you all. Keep up the amazing work and i wish you the best of luck
Thank you so much! We have been putting a lot of time and energy into the details. I’m glad it shows.

Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely!
Their work is one of a kind. Amazing
@@GrindHardPlumbingCo who was the celebrity y'all was building for? I could see the hurt and pain after all the hard work and hours sucks but it's still awesome y'all are geniuses
I do appreciate the clean humor, unlike what often comes from people out there.
I still can’t get over how small the Tacoma looks compared to this thing! Think of it with the body on it 😮
I can't wait to see the finished product/ toy. That will be impressive to see running trails.
As a viewer i appreciate all of the hard work all of you put into the channel and toys. Entertaining and inspiring. Great work guys.
Yah'll built'd a beast.
You need to tow the jetboat behind it on a jetski trailer. Really screw with peoples depth perception.
Can't wait to see how it comes out looking with the body! As always great work guys
How do I get in contact to ask you guys questions?
First time viewer and you're smarter than anyone understands I think. What you created is epic especially considering the minimal tools. You guys are going places that most will never imagine! Great job and I look forward to seeing more videos in the future.
man wonder who got cancelled and dropped the project . either way yall picked up the slack and nailed it . everyone in you shop has so much talent
I kinda really want to know.
I serrrrrioouussslllyyyy need to know 😂
Kanye West is the first person that comes to mind
I want to know this too!
@@Grushnerd It's a misnomer. It means some ignorant POS had to face the consequences of their awful behaviour, and then the far right chuds whine about it because they hate the fact they can't get away with hate speech in public anymore.
Nobody gets cancelled.
They cancel themselves.
I love all the fame and how so many other channels have taken notice to GHP! I do miss just Ethan and a welder, barbie jeep and feeling like this channel was a hidden gem. Now it's like watching celebrities! Proud of you boys you made it!
Right? I had to stop watching every video around the fire truck showing up (college comes first) but having been here since the mid 2000 sub range is incredible. I love that they're finally getting recognition, even if it's less personal than before. The 10k and 100k subs were so close to each other I knew they were gonna explode
I came here from a Donut Media shoutout many years ago, don't think I'll ever stop watching this channel
@@sampuhhupmas5666 same here, thanks to Nolan I discovered GHPC and Chain Bear, never stopped watching since.
They have been my fav vehicle creator channel for awhile and most of the people I mentioned them to never saw their videos, I got hooked with the power wheels getting suspensions and ice motors
I love this because it feels like a modern day Junkyard Wars episode.
That’s what I’m feeling.
Miss the original show. That was some great content!
Yeah, I see it.
Scrapheap Challenge was so good, the British version.
This is a monster of a light truck. Well done fellas 👏 always been a fan of the work you do and Ethan is a master of building most anything
Love the fact you guys still work out of the garage. Makes the work you guys do that much better and amazing what you can get done!
I was chatting with my friend about this. No doubt they're financially set to build a huge shop, but I love that they have stayed humble and true to their roots. I think a huge part of their continued success can be attributed to this too - the audience appreciates the level of builds churned out of this tiny garage. I love these guys and want the best for them, so I would love to see them graduate to a luscious shop, but at the same time I want them to stay true to their roots
I really like that you guys consistently try different editing styles, formats, and content. It really keeps the channel evolving and growing. Keep it up guys!
We love to mix it up!
Just a tip for you guys, unimogs get their insane flex through the frame and very little from the suspension. The actual suspension is meant to carry the equipment or material a unimog is using ie. a backhoe or dump bed which means the offroad capability must still be there and it's thanks to the frame flex. That is why everything mounted on the frame has large bushings or similar material to accommodate flex. I love the project, but I don't want to see you ruin the capability or shear whatever you weld straight to the frame.
when they started cutting it I cringed a little but I had hopes that they would do it right
Def a little sad they cut it up, but they will likely fo a full rollcage in thr future meaning they they have to upgrade suspension to it more similar to modern 4x4 suspension
On unimogs the body and box are all 3 point mounted, never 4 points, that allows the frame to flex..
Also the coil springs are fine, but it's so much lighter that the original truck. And needs softer springs, possibly air bags would be nice,
But no matter with such heavy wheels and axles compared to the body weight, it will still have problems....
Great work and a great Collab. I love how you all get along well no slamming doors. LoL 🤣
Love the work to play ratio. Amazing build, genius stuff.
What do you guys think of new new narration style?
It’s great, watching the video right now
Absolutely AMAZING top tier editing too
Love it
Honestly I definitely prefer the older/regular style. It's just my opinion but there's no need to have a face on camera every time - a simple voiceover is sufficient, and preferred by myself. The bouncing back and forth kind of takes away from the video. If you need to do some kind of drawing/schematic to demonstrate something, that's perfectly fine. That's just my two cents. I'm about halfway through the video, and will edit if I change my mind. I still absolutely love your videos, though.
love it man
Think I speak for everyone when I say we enjoy longer videos.. 40 plus minute videos heck yeah can we get more of em!!! I can watch this content literally all day long
I really sat here and haven't taken a bite out of my warm sandwich just in all of how long and good this build/story is doing and then something happened around the 25th minute that I don't even care about I'm just waiting to see the end build.
I didn't even realize it was that long.It went by so quickly.(that's Not what she said..I knew you thinking it)
@@bryduhbikeguy haha
Man... what I wouldn't give to come play with you guys for a day. LOVE your content. Thanks for sharing!
Wow what a journey this video was! Sad that you were let down, but glad to see something new being made from that Unimog chassis. I guess it struggled up the hill a bit due to being too light! It was weird hearing a motorcycle engine while watching that though.
It's crazy to think it all started with a barbie mustang. Now looking at the level of content an projects that roll out of the tiny shop. It's completely mind-blowing
I love that you guys always bring out older builds to play with. There's so many other channels that will build something and after it's done you never see it again.
Man this is my favorite channel, the creativity is incredible. Love watching you guys
You guys have officially become my favorite youtube channel to follow. Great personalities. Great craftsmanship and engineering. You guys kick ass.
I feel like I watch a fair amount of this type of content, but only while watching this channel do I think about how far humans have come. Watching your mix of technology and shade tree wrenching is quite inspirational.
These are my favorite types of episodes Ethan showing his weirdly good engineering skills , very kewlll
Watching from New Zealand

Great soundtrack and editing on this one! This thing is going to be premium!
I wish i had friends like you by me! I love tools and working on ANYTHING! Learning and sharing know how is just it.
I remember being here when it was just Ethan doing crazy sh*t with kids toys and dirt bikes, now I feel like they are actually getting recognized as they should. Good job!
I have a feeling this will turn into one of your coolest builds yet! Really happy the “napkin” design didn’t work out and you guys can take it in your own direction 👍
Yes! We are over all happy the “napkin” design didn't work out too!
@@GrindHardPlumbingCo so can I ask you who was the one the build was originally intended for? That UA-cam celebrity you spoke of before. Kinda curious. Because I know of someone very famous that just passed away and had one of the biggest UA-cam channels. I was kinda wondering if it was him. Really miss that guy.
It's insane and I love it. Nothing stopping that thing except for a radiator and a fan lol but I wanna see it do alot more . Awesome creations are so fun!

@@GrindHardPlumbingCo it was a awesome bike. No problem getting to work in negative Temps.
Can’t wait to see what you guys can do with this one. This would definitely be a good frame for a fiberglass body, like I think a manx on top of that would absolutely sick
29:00 this is common when clearings are cut. Edge or close to edge trees fall much easier. You should check each tree around your area of operation every two years, because you're incredibly lucky nothing bad happened, a friend's father lost a leg from something exactly like this. He was in his tractor, getting it started to move it inside as a storm was rolling, and out of nowhere a pine fell and smashed the tractor's cabin, grabbing his leg. He was on there an hour before he was rescued. Trees don't play around when they fall.
I love this channel you guys are great keep up the great work God bless you all stay strong warriors.
Ok that will impression was freaking spot on! Bahaha
You guys always come up with the coolest stuff. Can;t wait to see where this goes.

Yes I really missed Sam. We need more rolling other people’s projects 😂
I loved the innovation of this project and what it will potentially become. Great content and episode Grind Hard Plumbing Team!
The amount that Ethan works is INSANE and he seems to get more talented every video. I know you guys will end up making something cooler anyways! Keep up the good work!
Oh also apple care is something I would recommend
It’s always funny being able to tell how long ago they filmed. Cause the ground here hasn’t been clear in a over a month, and it’s been snowing more and more 😂
LOVE this build even though the initial project got stopped. Hope I heard correctly at the end of the video, will we see a JAG-MOG ?? As always, another crazy and entertaining build.
If anyone’s curious the car they were building was Kaye’s donda car. I don’t blame them for wanting to distance themselves from that whole mess.
Love the studio and mic raw video as your record the voice over. 10/10 include in future videos
Love the long form videos! Excited to see where this build goes, yall keep going bigger and bigger!
"today we're going to be making candles with pumpkins" lol, on point Martha Stewart impression. 🤣

Y'all need to drop some crazy body on this and bring it to king of the hammers this year. Would be wild to see this monstrosity rolling through hammer town
That would perform horrible at the hammers.
