- Neil Young and Crazy Horse perform "Change Your Mind" live at the Farm Aid concert in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 18, 1994. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

People don't give this album enough credit. Great song- but an even BETTER album!

Neil Young with capital N Y
Born To Rock.
I was at this show. Bought a cheap ticket, and slowly made my way to about 10 rows away. Very cool when Willie came out for All Along the watchtower.
I was at this show in the Superdome, inched my way down to about the 4th row, and got lost with Crazy Horse!
No one has commented for years, but I just had to shout this up, Neil is a real master live musician. The synergy of the band is so awesome....Light and dark sounds...
Neil young is my ultimate singer songwriter. Amazing man I stated listening to in the late 60’s. More in the 70’s. And now a year or so ago I had 24 hr. Marithon music. And haven’t gone away from that to far I try to play it each nite when I go to bed. I live Neil young and his artistic life hisArtistry will long remain with me. Blessings. Donna Reidt❣️❣️❣️
I've never known Security to be a GENIUS like this.
GIVE NEIL THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE FOR LITERATURE. WELL DESERVED GENIUS NEIL
that is the coolest guitar sound ...it's alive!!!!
Neil is amazing and is willing to share it with us.Thanks Neil
Uncle Niel stays kind
Neil Young = Musical Genius
I've always liked this song, hadn't heard it in a long time. I now realize it's another of his masterpieces, a beautiful melody.
I play the studio version of this song while I teach Yoga. It blows the room away like Pink Floyd on acid
One of Neil and Crazy Horse most underrated songs. N&CH the master of the mid-tempo meandering jams, this finds its place up there with "Cowgirl in the Sand", "Down by the River", "Cortez the Killer" and "Words". Neil &Crazy Horse are like a long married couple, but instead of finishing Neils sentences, they anticipate his every move and change of tempo. Brilliant.
Such a hypnotic, atmospheric jam. One of my favorites from Sleeps with Angels. Glad to hear it done live, and done so well.
Outstanding! I have a great memory of jamming this tune driving through Marin county, shortly after it was released. Neil... there is no other!
I wish I could see him. Live .The way he sways to the music.its great.
Put me on an island by myself with a sound machine and copies of this song, "Down By The River", "Cowgirl In The Sand", "Cortez The Killer", "Southern Man" *4 Way Street version", "Words" *Journey Through The Past" version, and I'll be fine. Don't try to find me, either.
I love that Neil has always played what he was feeling at the time, never placating to the whims of the people in the crowd and what they want to hear. It is why Neil is one of the all time great performers. Sleeps With Angels is going to turn 30?! Classic album
The best!!!! This song creates whole body chills.
....this goes to another level at the 8:00 minute mark, wow!
Neil is the king of rock..
As always Neil and the Horse deliver
the most amazing collection of notes come together when hes putting together a jam. what a pioneer... i havent heard such good pure and undiscovered music after his godlike tunes. crazy horse back up amazing instrumentals, all in mind that danny whittens was his undisputed sidekick, i think this is what keeps a band strong and keep producing music after all these years. Some pretty deep feely music right there.. thank you buddy!
This is a sound at its peak. They have played together for a long time. Its like Led Zep in a way. Zep at its best is people holding back( except Bonzo). Notice Neil isn't even looking at his frets. He is in a " nether world". Neil was hitting it hard in 1974 after rock's basic collapse. This is 20 yrs later. He is only better. Thank you Neil and Crazy Horse and especially the rock solid drum beat.
Niel is the Best out there!
E il numero uno
E il numero uno
Ralph is solid!! I always enjoy his drumming.
Words and meaning of the more fascinating you deserve the Nobel Prize for Literature

Fabulous !! Il joue ses standards à chaque fois différemment et c est toujours sublime !!!
Big medicine.
I wish he could come to Edmonton. I sure would like to see a live concert
I know what you mean. There was a time when I suicidal and I would listen to this song to give me hope. Of course, I couldn't listen to the next song...
Fantastic
Trance rock. Put 'em in Hall- together. 'Summer '78 Pine Knob. Rust Never Sleeps. Buddy; 2 pretty girls. Young sitting on amp stack as we walked in, high as kites. Strumming acoustic, Sugar Mountain. What a show! Put 'em in.
Only one problem with this . . . t'ain't long enough!
Damm good sheet rite dare. Ain't no dowt about it.
Born To Rock
How did security get on stage?! They rock! ;)
Genio!!!!!!
what's with all the empty seats at the end? Brilliant song, great performance
Vc me inspirou Neil Young a fazer este poema...
Chances de Vida
Alguma coisa aconteceu
O dia pra mim escureceu
Minha mente está tão cheia
Parece até que levei uma peia
Meu corpo está tão cansado
Só consigo ver o meu passado
As luzes piscam incessantemente
Só consigo falar com minha mente
Minhas chances onde estão?
Onde é que todos estão?
Ouço sinais vitais ao lado
Será que meu respirador tá enguiçado
Só enxergo pessoas de branco
Apertando meu coração
Sinto pessoas em prantos
Ou será que é apenas alucinação
Quais as minhas chances de vida?
Será que a vitória está perdida?
Posso sentir toda pressão
Será que terei recuperação
Mas algo aconteceu pela manhã
Me colocaram nesta cadeira
Pra onde estou indo minha irmã
Diga que tudo foi brincadeira
Que nada...vc foi um lutador
Graças ao nosso Deus poderoso
Você continua um vencedor
E vc nos deixou muito orgulhoso
Deus existe, Deus não te abandonou
Temos muitas chances em vida
Basta crer em quem te abençoou
Deus nunca desiste de uma vida
Amém
Esse som me imspirou
Security 🌞😎🤟🥊💥💥💥
Claramente pensando no cacique cavalo louco quando da composição dessa música.
A dude likes this.
0:01 to 15:00
was this his first live performance of this song?
I think it may be
This version is fck hall of fame, when Neil Young was grunge , if I was there, I’ll shoot myself after this song
I was there, New orlean Superdome....Nothing like Neil and Crazy Horse
RIP Kurt Cobain
Thanks Neil for making my life so much better.. there no else even close...

What guitar is Neil playing? Never seen him play that guitar, ever,
... Said no one ever.
Gibson
That's "Old Black" his legendary Les Paul guitar
Ol black?
old good Neil
not quite an amazing soloist, but what a man
yup
definitely not
amazing songwriter anyway
I'm indeed referring to his guitar work but, keep cool, this ain't no big deal
he IS a genius
thats not the point
just a merely guitar player
Im with Wallace. Depends on what type of soloing you like I guess. His lead guitar has great honesty and emotion in it, just like the rest of his music. His speed and technical proficiency isn't at the level of some, but those qualities tend to create mindless crap anyways
I think Neil is one of the most interesting and soulful lead players out there. I'd much rather listen to him playing lead guitar than Eddie Van Halen for example, but each to their own.
Are the lads singing background, a bit out of tune
Sad song. I think it is about the death of Kurt Cobain?
Yes it is about Kurt Cobain. He's trying to tell Kurt to change his mind and not take the suicide path he took.....
No, it was written and performed live in 1993 before Kobain's death.
@@mikemcgarr7881 took on some new meaning i assume
That's pretty low in donations
. People are selfish
Whoa! Never liked his voice.
Whoa?
