Say what you want about this movie but the theme itself was actually worth listening to. It's very Batmanish. If Joel tried a more serious approach it'd be good.

Near the ending of it or so it brings out the real heroic side of Batman despite being all as a darken type, he knows he's a good guy and do anything to protect the innocent lives around him with Robin but also knowing to strike terror into hearts who commit such evil. This theme of Batman is like a combo of light and dark wrapped together. Growing up this theme made me feel like Batman was in me and when putting on costume that same feeling always came alive.

I blame the WB execs for forever, and Batman & Robin not being as good as the other two. I blame them hiring a toy company to make toys to sell to children, wanting something not so dark and more campy, wanting shitty writing, bad suit designs with (unnecessary nipples being the main issue), kids complaining that Returns was too violent, being connected to 89 and Returns, and horrible takes on a good character.
