- ABOUT THIS VIDEO -
Your Wi-Fi network is working extremely hard in the age of remote work, doing much more than just enabling you to stream movies and play games. Home Wi-Fi routers connect a wide array of smart home gadgets while keeping millions of people connected and at work. That makes choosing the one that works best for you and your wallet more difficult than ever, especially as more Wi-Fi 6 devices become available.

What is your testing methodology? Did you test connectivity consistent across multiple devices and connection types?
I’m just trying to go buy wifi right now can I ? Anywhere how does it work do I just go buy one of these and set it up and it will work today ???
TP Link AX21 has been working great for me for about 7 months. For $69 you cant beat it
Appreciate you for sharing
We are happy with the AX21.
Don’t buy any expensive router right now! WIFI 7 is coming verry soon. TP-Link has already released 2 and wil soon release 7 more versions sooo yeah.
I’m confused. I want to hook a router up in my room but the actual Wi-Fi router is in my living room. So can I still get one without hooking it up to the original?
I need to know!
@@caedyncarter4494 eu hahah I don’t understand your question but I think you mean that you want to use another router as an AP(Access Point) while connecting it to your main router?
If you already have an ISP(Internet Service Provider) All in one device device you can still connect another router that is much faster or supports newer versions of wifi to it. It is just recommended to put the second faster router is AP mode if possible and if your main router doesn’t let you turn of routing. It’s also interesting to then turn of the wifi signal from the main router if possible to reduce interference. You should see a huge speed and latency boost if you buy a decent wifi 7 router and connect it to your ISP router that probably has wifi 5.
You know when deco wifi 7 is coming out? Saw the mesh and want one
I went with Synology mesh. Absolutely worth every cent!
we truly couldn't care any less - you provide no comparisons/data/research your post is beyond worthless
Im looking for a router that can support my 500mb broadband from the access point on the ground floor to the 3rd floor of my house. The one i got with BT is doggy. Any suggestions guys?
i got lucky as i was blindly shopping for a new router and ended up getting the asus rt-ax86u and its great to see this beast stll showing up on lists to this day
I just bought this router 🎉 just got fiber in my neighborhood and got 2Gbps but my current router can only do 1 hope this does the trick 😊
AX21 been replaced by AX23 and it is amazing for the price!
Plus extra AX55 and AX73 and AX90
Do not buy Google Nest Wifi they are terrible and also this list is sooo bad. Number 1 should be Asus as they have more premium hardware and have included antivirus while the rest are on subscription bases or dont offer that service at all.
The TP-Link AX21 is a terrible router for the price. Would rather recommend the AX72 or AX73 as the range is significantly large and can support internet speeds greater than 1 gigabit without issue (my country goes upto 8 Gigabit nearly at 10 Gigabit)
Not sure about AX21 but they discontinued it quickly and released AX23 which is very good for the price.
They’re all junk. A mini pc Or appliance running pfSense with a proper AP or ten (Ubiquiti for example) is vastly superior in all aspects. TP-Link is pure junk right with Netgear
@@curtispavlovec LOL. Yeah. Whatever floats your boat.
Good vid thanks.
You are very welcome!
What about Linksys?? Are they any good??
Asus has advance features which if agreed they Trend Micro gathers logs about everything and sell this data to third parties. It’s in they’re terms of service. Screw that
This is all fine unless as in my case Xfinity only deliver less than 400MBps service when you pay for 1Gbps, and they blame your cable modem for the bottleneck even though it is the latest DOCSIS 3.1 modem.
Xfinity is a rip off. I work for them. PenTeleData is better, but they get sketchy too
I too have xfinity and am experiencing similar download speed… we too have the 1gbps but never get speeds over 4000 mbps. Been testing out different modems but thinking whether its the modem or xfinity?
@@kam-jw3tj I guess you had a typo and meant 400mbps not 4000mbps. 4000 would be pretty good. I bought a Netgear modem CS1000v2 , with computer hooked up directly to modem I got 700Mbps, so I guess my ASUS router even with wired connection is losing 350Mbps because that is what it drops to with the router in place and only 4 computers connected to the network, plus 1 phone.
i'll probably get the Asus rooter
we don't care what you do

TENDA RX2 PRO
Im looking for a router not a "rooter" .. id forgive an accent but wtf, who says rooter?
Rooter
ကုပ်ပြောင်ချင်ထယ်
Next stop chronic state 4 cancer 😂 the invisible rainbow. Read this book.
Promotional video, don't take it for real :)
i heard the best rooter is your mum
that true? pls reply
Lmfao. ROOTER!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Roto Rooter. 😂
WiFi routers are becoming like smartphone with yearly upgrades for whatever reason.
Profit...
Always for profit
Yeah, and worse each router didnt have same standardized technology.
Only Enterprise class router have best compatibility
@@syarifairlangga4608 THAT is what makes me tear my fucking hair out. Why the fuck don't consumers get the same industry standard compatibility? Its not more expensive to do it, its digital code.
What is a rooter?
What is a row-ta?
