Pam, after our son passed 1 month ago today, I started using the many beautiful cards we received for journal cards, pockets, tucks, trimming the floral and many butterfly designs. I put them in my personal July & Aug. daily journal with pictures, etc. I didn't cover anything, all so pretty. I have tons of Mother's Day & Birthday cards from family & friends, so many pretty cards, just can't toss. Yours is a good idea for those that don't work that way. Now I will use those with your suggestions. So much paper to reuse/recycle. Thanks, have a beautiful day/week! Thanks for your daily ideas!!

Karen Bauer There are no words or phrases to say that provide any comfort for such a profound loss. We say, I am sorry for your loss simply because we do not know what else to say. I will then just say, I am glad you are using the cards you received in projects. A lovely tribute. May you continue to create beautiful things in spite of the horrific pain. Sending you many blessings.

He will pick up a small bottle of elmers or something but it will be small. When this happens say that will never do and reach down and pick up the gallon size. Be sure when you do this to be watching his face. It will be priceless. Ask me how I know. You got it I took my husband shopping. Didn't do this for a reaction, I really wanted the gallon size. Just happened to catch the look on his face.. My daughter calls me the Queen of Glue. For my birthday she gage me 1&1/2 lbs of Yes Glue. That blew my husband's mind too.

Your altered cards are very pretty. I especially love the roses tissue paper one.
I've been saving old cards for years. I didn't know what to do with the backs and have only been using the small pic on the back. I the I started journal making. You architecture artist who says to use the backs for journaling cards too. Well duh to all of the others who don't yes these in this way. It's amazing and you save money too not having to buy card stock !!

Pam I love watching you craft. You make everything look so easy. Your style is very refreshing and up beat.
I've used old cards for many things in the past. I've made to and from tags out of the Christmas ones and fussy cut out flowers and animala for focal points on other projects. Most recently in my junk journals, but t never though to save the backs. Your journaling cards using the backs and or a pic that isn't one left out faviorites. You've just opened a whole new set of ideas for me. I have many old cards and know where to go to get more lol

I usually just use the front of the card, cut and paste whatever I like and make greeting cards with them and throw away the back. Great idea to make journal cards out of them, I will use the back for that. I only just recently decided to try my hand at junk journaling and art journaling and I am really enjoying it

The bird is soothing to me, she can hoot and holler all she likes. I want to ask, though, should we spray our cards down with a little fixative when we're done?

Hello Pam! I love the story of the cold canadian winters. Just Like you, I moved as far south as I could to warmer climate once i was old enough to do so. I know live just outside Niagara Falls Ontario. Pretty much sitting on the border lol. Hopefully one day I will make it to florida. I still have some time yet to make it there! I am Never give up hope 😊I think all canadians dream of living in florida due to its warm weather! Anyway loved the seet tweets from holly💌 she is such a gorgeous singer! And she sure cheers me up to hear her sing. Have a wonderful day Pam! And thank you for the great ideas you come up with. And i love that you have tons of options and they are easy enough for artistically challanged crafters like me can do the craft aswell! Your videos bring me so much joy!
