Paddling Durbin Creek

- Plenty of rain recently? Water tables up? Ponds filled? That means we have water in Durbin Creek. This little creek, passable only with good water levels is one of the most beautiful and untouched creeks that rises just south of Julington Creek in the Fruit Cove area of Florida and is a wonder to behold. Howard and I start by doing a little exploration up the creek from our entry point, find the going increasingly hard and thickening growth impeding our way, turn around and promptly lose our original course to get back. That's how primitive it is. We eventually find our way, a different way, back to the start and carry on to see these scenes cruising down the creek. At one point I thought I had turned off the camera, but it ran on, and I left the shot in because it shows some nice reflections on the water.
One of my favorite places in the world!
@THESOUTHERNBOY49 I'm not a fisherman, so I don't know anything about whether it is good or bad fishing or what. I'm a kayaker and sailor and it is good for me.
